1. I'd recommend the Customization Mod over Spec II, since the Customization Mod has everything the Spec II does and then some. 2. They're both pretty much the same, but I'd say CFW would be sightly easier. 3. You need to delete any save files you have for them to work. 4. The Spec II mod and Customization Mod do use the latest version of GT6.
@@brillowcase I've just dug my ps3 out of storage and had absolutely no idea about jailbreaking. I looked at HEN but ultimately decided on CFW just due to being so much easier. My PS3 was on 4.something, and I fully OFW updated it to 4.85 (latest I believe) I then installed Evilnat 4.85 cobra CFW I've only ever done a CFW on my PSP, but let me say this.. On ps3 it was so easy. Literally 7 steps and I'm not even joking. Took 5 mins, if that 1) Update ps3 to latest OFW 2) download your version of cfw (evilnat is the only 4.85 one atm) 3) put the file on a USB stick with the folders as PS3 > UPDATE 4) run ps3xploit > BG tools. You want to download the patch and apply 5) reboot the ps3 6) system settings > update from storage media 7) press X to install the cfw

when i installed the first 2 files on to the playstation, the file amount was 2849, unlike you having 2031. still selected the same amount though now i had the GT5 stuck on a black screen after i loaded the european edit: i downloaded the asian one now and when it loads up it still stuck. i even updated and installed the data
How are you able to not get duplicate cars in your car grid, cause whenever i use the secret settings the car with the lowest pp is there twice. How did you fix that

What version are you on for GT5? Because i was told to stay on 2.11, but it seems you are on a higher version. Cause for me i did everything youre meant to do and nothing about my game changed

Yeeaah, I'm not sure about that. When I boot up GT5, it goes to a black screen after the warning screen (despite the fact that I erased the systemDB), and the same is true for GT6.
@@2002GrandPrix yes I’m on the latest update on both games and deleted my save file as well to make sure it runs but it still doesn’t work????? I feel like I just wasted my progress doing this, I’m going to do the FileZilla method to see if that works or not

You should be able to just replace the master mod files with the Spec II files.

You can use either the physical or digital version. Just be sure to use the correct region for the game you're playing.

I am on 2.11 for GT5. You might need to start a new save file if you haven't done that.

I didn't have to put it on my hard drive. Other people said I did, but it worked fine for me.

It's not possible to have separate saves. You do need to have a completely new save for the mod.

@@yolol9929 2.11 is not the 'latest' for GT5: you specifically need to NOT update GT5 to the latest for the mod to work properly.
