i think it's because he kept jabbing at her brother. she is undoubtedly proud of his high status as admiral, which she SHOULD be (as a us air force vet, i would salute him instantly and nervously!) but because he's navy, jimmy jumps into the OLD american joke about all navy seamen being gay. i think she was just frustrated with him and was trying to ignore him.
@@ghomerhustwell don’t go on QI then. The rapid fire jokes from all corners make sure some fall flat or are at your expense and you need to be able to take some on the chin. That being said, maybe they are being professional and are in it for the jokes and ignore this personal preference. I for one hadn’t noticed yet so now I will watch it again with new eyes.

Jimmy Carr is by far the quickest mind and they all talk over eachother all the time in every episode, that’s how all their brains are wired, and it is being magnified by the whole shows intent: the quick wit of the panel to come up with not the correct but the most interesting view on the matter. Jimmy simply nailed it this time. And it was one of the funniest episodes in a long while, I think!
Did you know that if you unscrew your belly button.......your bum falls off?? I didn't find this episode all that funny........Johnny sounded a bit drunk, and Jimmy with his stupid laugh and facial expressions as usual, and both not that funny...
That’s so weird! I thought it was the funniest episode in a long time. I thought the banter was on par with the best episodes with Stephen Fry. They were free ranging and I loved the energy!

Our funny bones are just wired differently I guess. I watched in the car and I had to laugh out loud more than once and my co-occupants in the traffic jam gave me several surprised looks ;-)
