Animosity in inverted commas. He's appeared as a guest host for the No Such Thing As A Fish podcast, as has his wife. The elves just know who is likely to say what. The elves rule!
i have some degree of crush on every person sitting behind that desk. if there were some bunker/end of the world scenario, I'd choose these exact 5. ❤❤❤❤❤
Modern subs are covered in a thick rubber coating, usually glued panels (there was one where the glue failed and they mostly fell off at the cost of millions). It is to absorb sonar, which can be a billion times louder than sound on land. Loud enough they sometimes have to turn it down in less dense water or it just boils it for 10 yards ahead of them and they can't see anything.
Its not that sharks aren't dangerous, its just that you can easily avoid them by not going into the water with them! Its kinda like saying "well table saws are not dangerous" sure cause no one is just shoving their hand in them LOL They are still dangerous!! They can still kill you plenty easy enough!! They are not as aggressive as we thought tho, that's for sure.
@OmnieStar It's important to know as many people aren't aware. humans murder millions of Sharks per year. Whereas sharks are responsible for the death of SFA people, 12-24 pa out of an over population of almost 8 billion. Are you petrified of vending machines? Kill more people than sharks per year. Are you paralysed with fear of cows? Kill more people than 🦈 🦈 per year. How much time while driving a car are you calculating your risk of fatal crash? All FAR MORE PROBABLE than 🦈 attack. Keep up your dedication to consumption and pollution.
David's battle with the klaxon is legendary. Phil Jupitus' daughter is an elf.
Cool!
There seems to be a funny animosity between David and the QI Elves in certain episodes

Loved it when told you'll be sorry when the man who discovered it begins to speak

Aisling is just flat out HOT 🔥🔥🔥
I'd like to sneak up on a shark - and bite it
Didn't that happen in a James Bond film?
Alan Davies can be really annoying in QI sometimes, and this episode was one of those times.
He's supposed to be an arse off screen, think his mask slips sometimes.
He’s like a child at a party, who’s had too much sugar.
@@peteglanton9259 😂 Great analogy!
I just read his books last year, they were amazing. Highly recommend.. everyone has their bad days ☺️ He’s an amazing fella despite all odds.

I, like you also wish I had just half of his talents and abilities.
Don't compare, just be your best self😊
