I love everything about that bike, it's the grand tour model. No bloody X, no bloody R, and REAL mechanical gauges. NICE. I might choose a wee bit larger windshield though, in case I gotta get behind it in a hail storm. Great review!
It is a good-looking bike. I am trying to capture the feelings and observations as much as I can in 20 minutes or so. The good generally out wieghs the negatives, but I would be remiss if I didn't point them out. The manufacturers most likely will never see this or any of my reviews, but if they do, then perhaps they can address some of the things and fix them to give us the riders an even better experience. Thank you for the comment and hope you stay safe and have a great holiday season.
I like that bike because to me at least it reminds me of the Yamaha DT I learned how to ride on. Reagan was in his second term when I learned how to ride. Would I buy one, no. Maybe for my kids to learn on.
I remember the DT. Lots of fun in my youth. Looking back at my riding life I'm glad I don't ride the way I used to. I bought an 07 honda nighthawk 250 to teach my kids to ride a few years ago. I will keep it forever and hopefully teach my grandkids someday with it also.
It was the position of the pegs in relation to the seat position. They felt further behind and tighter than expected. Just needed to get used to the positioning.

I already have a 600 race bike, I got speed covered. I want to add to the stable a standard. This will be my next bike!
Beautiful bike, thanks for also exposing the negatives on this one, not everyone does, and if they do, its very brief

It has foot pegs. How can you not have found them?
