갑골문자는 바다를 접하고 살았던 동이족 문자 입니다 .현 중국의 글자는 동이족 의 문자이므로 본디 발음이 다름니다 . 뜻과 발음이 다르게 표현 하는 것이 중국의 문자가 아닌것을 알수 있습니다 .
중국의 시조라고 칭하는 삼황 오제가 어느 민족으로 분류되는지를 알수 있는 사마천기, 산해경 등등의 고서를 통해서도 알수 있습니다.

동영상 잘 보고 있습니다. 그런데 Clint Graviet 씨가 Chinese Letter라고 말을 했는데 이게 왜 자막에서 "한자"로 쓰여졌는지요? Chinese Letter는 "중국 말"로 쓰여져야지요. "한자"라는 낱말은 일본제국주의가 만든 말이에요. 실제로 중국사람들이 쓰는 글자는 동이족이라고 불리던 현재 중국대륙 동쪽(만주위가 아닌)에 살았던 옛조선사람들이 만들어서 "화하족"에 가르쳐주고, 조선사람들 옆에서 중국대륙해안선따라 살던 일본사람 조상들도 배우고, 다른 동북아시아에 살던 사람들도 쓰던 말입니다. 따라서 옛한글인데 중국사람들이 많이 바꾸었죠. 따라서 "동방문자"라고 불리는게 제국주의나 국수주의를 넘어 불리워져야 할 말입니다. 대만은 아마 동방문자로 부를겁니다.

ever-growing infatuation with South Korea
Like many people around the world, our after-supper entertainment is watching television series such as The Wire, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones and Succession. But, unlike many of those people, I never really enjoyed the programmes. They tended to be incredibly grim and unremittingly depressing, featuring graphic, close-up sex scenes that had me feeling dejected and glum. So I left my husband, Will, to get on with it while I either read or did a crossword.
One evening, he said: ‘There’s a Korean series on Netflix which has got excellent reviews - shall we give it a go?’
‘OK,’ I said, thinking it couldn’t possibly be any more spirit-lowering than everything else we’d already seen.
So on went Crash Landing on You, and with it, a whole magical new world opened up, like hearing Mozart after an exclusive diet of Stockhausen. There’s a general misconception that K-dramas are all violent, and indeed some are: the ruthless and disturbing content of Squid Game and Oldboy makes The Walking Dead seem like the life cycle of a Norland Nanny. But much of it is family viewing, a mash-up of romance, comedy and tragedy, crime and sweetness. But it was not just the superb acting, cinematography, wit, subtlety, directing, writing and very attractive actors of Crash Landing that had me captivated (or thoroughly over-invested, as my children said), it was also different.
And so began our love affair with all things Korean. A love that has seen me try to learn the language, visit the country on holiday and revel in its cooking.
We spread the word to our friends that they too could say, ‘Goodbye, cruel world’ and escape into the benevolent Narnia that was Crash Landing, but their responses were disappointing. Most didn’t bother, one watched for five minutes before giving up, and another said: ‘I didn’t think much of that.’ Now we know how missionaries felt when confronted with the unconvertable.
But after Netflix joined in the fun, Korean dramas drew an increasing global audience. At the same time, thanks to the internet, K-pop was also crossing borders and continents; Psy and his wacky, catchy Gangnam Style (and accompanying dance) became a global sensation, with 4.5 billion views on RUclips, followed by pop groups Blackpink and BTS with their numerous Guinness World Records and sold-out concerts from Sydney to Las Vegas.
All this and more features in Hallyu! The Korean Wave, the new exhibition at the V&A, which bursts with costumes from zombie series, K-pop outfits, high fashion and beauty - even the bathroom suite from the Oscar-winning film Parasite. Included as well are examples of Korea’s beautiful art, spanning many centuries and sought after by collectors worldwide. I am pleased to say that my childhood home, Chatsworth, contains both a 19th-century Korean chaekgeori screen, bought by the tastemeister ‘Bachelor Duke’ of Devonshire (the 6th), and modern ceramics by Jaejun Lee and Kim Sun, collected by my brother, the current duke.
Anyway, our interest piqued by the lovely locations in the K-dramas we’d watched, we opted to travel to South Korea for our first post-lockdown holiday. And I decided to have some Korean lessons. Thus, wonderful, patient teacher Lee Seonsaengnim entered my life.
Once a week, we meet and traverse the highways, byways and rocky mountain paths of the Korean tongue. As Schubert is to music, so Korean is to language, being melodious and expressive with a vivid line in idiom. To be stood up translates literally as ‘to be hit by the wind’; to ‘hold the hilt of a sword’ is to have power or authority; and a dysfunctional family is a ‘bean powder family’ (a coating of bean powder prevents rice cakes from sticking together).
Hangul, the Korean alphabet, can be learnt fairly easily. The grammar starts off straightforwardly and becomes increasingly complex, and vocab is - well - vocab. The main difficulty is pronunciation since a mouth and vocal cords accustomed to speaking English find it very hard to make the correct shapes and sounds required. There are different levels of formality and to speak informally to elders or strangers is considered rude. Other nuances, however, are less clear: when I repeat phrases learnt from a TV drama, Seonsaengnim has to explain that the Korean equivalent of ‘Netflix and chill?’ is unseemly coming from a woman in her sixties. Still, when we actually arrived in South Korea at the beginning of May this year, my attempts to speak Korean were met with smiling encouragement and I was delighted when my request for a table for two people and two coffees was understood. As anticipated, my pronunciation was the chief impediment. I was telling our guide, Alex, about my family and mentioned that my daughter wasn’t married but oejang gwaliheyo, literally ‘managing the aquarium’, meaning to play the field.
‘Sorry?’ he said. I repeated myself several times, but my words completely eluded comprehension. Finally, I wrote it down in Hangul. ‘Ah!’ said Alex, his diplomacy and perfect manners springing into action. ‘It’s not that you pronounced it wrong, it’s just that I never expected a foreigner to know that phrase.’ (We will be forever grateful to Alex and our driver, Mr Cha, whose organisation and kindness brought about the best trip of our lives.)
We spent the first three days in the capital, Seoul. During the 1970s, the rapid industrialisation of South Korea quickly required mass housing for the workers pouring into the expanding city. So, up went acres of tower blocks, skyscrapers and a rebuilt city centre that is now emblematic of a successful modern country full of innovations such as road crossing lights at ground level, to assist those pedestrians who walk around staring down at their phones.
But tradition is not completely lost. Alex showed us around royal palaces that were destroyed during the Japanese occupation of 1910-1945 and rebuilt with skill and craftsmanship that Hawksmoor and Barry would have envied.
Our tour took us from Seoul to royal burial mounds in Gyeongju, a bamboo forest in Juknokwon, wetlands in Suncheon, past vast fields of peonies (a first for me) to a scholar’s house and garden in Soswaewon. It was a busy schedule, punctuated by meals in snack bars and restaurants that, while unpretentious, served food that still makes my mouth water to think of - all of it irresistible and inexpensive. I feel very sorry for Korean children at English boarding schools; the food must be a terrible disappointment.
What a fabulous country. I shall look at Chatsworth’s glorious artefacts with even keener pleasure as we await our return visit to South Korea in 2023. In the meantime, we have Hallyu! and its pink guards’ costumes from Squid Game to enjoy.
