- For Eric S's birthday we got some friends together to jam/record a cover of Peter Gabriel's 'Games Without Frontiers'.
This song is from Peter Gabriel's Melt (or "Peter Gabriel 3") album.
I think it goes without saying this is the best cover you'll find of this song on the Internet.

For me, this is what RUclips and music are all about. I thought of it, and sure enough, it was there. And better than I could have ever imagined. Music is the universal language and people's ability to communicate through it is unmatched. Bravo.

Nice work on the drum! Shows one can cover songs that are highly engineered! I cover several songs just with an acoustic guitar, sometimes I have to change the time signature slower or faster. Sometimes I change the chord structure to suit my playing style or the effect I'm shooting for.

Hopefully you've heard the original by now- almost a decade later?? It's such a timeless masterpiece. I was born in 1980, so it's one of those songs that I've heard my entire life- and I never could appreciate it for what it was until I was much older.

Funny and joyfully but not silly performed. Not easy task in this song. Gabriel was even a bit darker, but cover does not mean just copy. Also instrumentation and voices well balanced and coordinated, but still relaxed impression.

If I may ask, where does a person get the score, for a song like that?..I can hear the electric guitar, some bass, rhythm, but. what acoustic chords were you playing? Wow, that was damn good. It's tough to hear the vocals over all the instruments. It might sound better if you mic the lead vocals.
I do not think so. It is much more natural and fits the atmosphere better to use no extra mic here.
