      Wrong. Nate only severed ties with Cesar a lil over ten years ago. The reason nates a millionaire is cuz he had attitude and came off confident unlike Nick which made him easier for people to idolize. Then he beat Connor and hit us with a timeless one liner as he shocked the world also Nate fought later into the UFC's development so obviously he got paid more cuz EVERYONE gets more as the sport and promotion grow. I can't stand half witted "fight fans" dude

    You know I was a Nick Diaz hater for a long time till I watched/read more info about him and I think Nick just has extreme social anxiety and a self confidence complex. I don't think the work was telling him he wasn't good enough, I don't think he just "hated" promoting his fights...I believe it's all derived from a deep deep sense of insecurity and anxiety from the insecurity. I'm sympathetic cuz I get it. I always felt like the world was against me and rooting for me to fail. Nick needs counseling and therapy to realize that he's a strong driven and brave man and we DO see it. The excuses that he and everyone around keep making for him doesn't help though. Personal accountability and self awareness are key to living a healthy life. Seeing how much Nick cares about his lil brother and even his first love shows how much heart he has. Also whenever Nick won he was always a great sportsman and gentleman about it....when he lost it was cringe the way he would respond but again I believe that's driven by that insecurity and anxiety. I'm a Nick Diaz fan now, after 20 years as a hater I have officially switched side. The dude has heart and was a great competitor and mentor. Big ups to Nick Diaz and I'm rooting for you brother!!! Life is a fight Nick and you are a great fighter....get out there whoop life's ass like it's a young Robbie Lawler......"Stockton motherfucker"

    I would just like to add that the sport of JJ has nothing to do with being able to hit and/or not get hit. It's two different things. Are you learning how to fight or are you learning JJ? I understand BJJ's roots but that is not what's going on nowadays. JJ practitioners are not going around fighting people. They are avoiding fights like a Martial Artist should. Yes, I understand the whole, "But in the streets tho" routine but 9 outta ten JJ guys aren't trying to fight AND that does not make them soft. MMA and self defense is a different story.

    Diaz called out Cesar for taking a lot of his money

    • @nathansackett6890
      @nathansackett6890 5 дней назад

      Ya he also accused people of drugging him with iv's and putting weights in there gloves. Nick struggles with anxiety and insecurity which makes him point fingers outwardly when he fails like a lot of us. The reason Nick didn't earn more is because he couldn't go 24 hours before a fight without smoking weed, plain and simple. He lost the last 5 years of his prime earning potential because he lacked discipline. Substance abuse issues stemming from anxiety. I don't know Cesar or Nick or there contracts but I've probably done more research than you and management takes money from you PERIOD that's the game. Nate was Cesar as well only cut tied ten years ago

    HUGE RESPECT and shout out to Cesar Gracie, and to this episode ; and to Host/ Podcast. It is my very first time every hearing about / watching (But ; now Im pleasantly Subscribed, and cant wait to watch a bunch more of the amazing guests, that are in your playlist) I am a 53yr old Eastcoast Canadian , who has been Watching/Following MMA/UFC, since day-one, UFC 1,1993, and witnessed/seen, every Gilbert Melendez, Jake Shields and Diaz Brother Fight ; and distinctively remember/recall : How, after ever fight, they would most-definitely, forsure, give a shout-out, Props and Thanks to Cesar Gracie and let the World know; exactly who they Repped, Respected and Appreciated = "Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu" . There Coach, Friend, Mentor, Leader, Supporter, Big Brother/Father-Figure . AND : Back then; watching, seeing, listening to : those few short words, that they "never forgot, and instead, specifically had made sure to always remember to say" I remember thinking how; Real, Genuine, Authentic, and how much Passion they truly had and felt for BJJ, Training, MMA/Fighting, Compition/Winning, and especially for ("Cesar Gracie and his very own" Unique, specific, blend, style, techniques and System of Jiu-Jitsu; Known as, called "Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu" ) AND; In their prime; those particular four names, students, competitors, fighters; were all unbelievably gritty, tough, hard, tenacious, courageous, highly skilled, and very technical ; both, on their feet/standing, striking ; and, of coarse; on the ground, with their elite submission game . Each one of them, possessed an endless gas tank, had forever cardio, and absolutely zero quit in them what so ever, these qualities, along with their fearless attitudes, huge hearts, and literally tough as nails demeanor, were big factors in helping and allowing them to be able to ; come forward, non stop, and get right up and stay in your face, digging deep, bringing the fight right to you, pushing you to your limits, and dragging you into their deep waters ; this and much more ; are all the reasons why, so many fans: respect, admire, appreciate, and are grateful for them and for being able to have the privileged to watch them fight , give it their all. Their fights are very exciting, entertaining, fun, and you just know that they are ALL IN, and it will be a high energy fight . ( Like; Nate Diaz says "Kill-or-Be Killed" )This type of attitude, mentality, and willingness to win ; is what made them, not ony, just fan favorites, but ; instead became huge names, stars, who are very successful, and have legions of ; fans, follower, supporters, thousands upon thousands of people, who to this very day, would absolutely be super happy, stoked and totally love to see any one of : Gilbert Melendez, Jake Shields, Nick Diaz and/or Nate Diaz ; compete, fight . And for me; it would be the UFC, that Id like to see them fight for, inside the octagon. NO BODY WILL PROBABLY EVER READ THIS, SORRY FOR THE LOOONG WINDED RANT, I AM A HUGE, BIG ADHD OCD WEIRDO THAT WAY, MY BAD, IT CAN BE A CURSE, BUT IV WITH ME OLDER AGE AND TIME IVE GROWN, ADAPTED AND LEARNED TO ACCEPT MY FAULTS, QUIRKS AND THAT IT IS SIMPLY A PART OF WHO I AM, AND IT COULD ALWAYS BE SO MUCH WORSE. CHEERS , AND AGAIN ; GEAT VIDEO, CHANNEL; NEW FAN/SUPPORTER/ AND SUBSCRIBER + a LIKE as well. ha

    P.S. I am a little bit excited, interested and am wondering how Kron Gracie will do in his fight, which I believe is this sat. in two days ; especially since/when ; his last fight was unbelievably complete shit/terrible, even embarrassingly so. I just kept thinking/wondering to myself= how or what his father, Rickson; thought or said about it , both ; to himself and , also, to Kron ?
