It's the 2019 Presidents Cup and Tiger Woods is set to play as captain, only the second in tournament history. When the U.S. Team tees off against the International Team, Woods will lead a stellar group featuring Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas and others. Hoping to stand in the way of a U.S. victory are seasoned pros Hideki Matsuyama, Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen and more. The contest will unfold at Royal Melbourne Golf Club, home to the Presidents Cup in 2011 and 1998 when the Internationals claimed their only victory in the series.

This is another reason why Tiger is the Greatest Golfer in PGA History. Puts himself in the first singles match...knowing full well how critical it was for the US team to get the first point. He didn't shy away from the situation. He stepped right up and won the first singles match. Man!! What confidence and focus he has!!! He is the Greatest ever to play professional golf.
When Tiger was in his prime, his father said: “You think he is great now? You have not yet seen how good he is. You haven’t seen anything yet.” PP

Imagine Thomas as a kid idolising Tiger when he was at his peak, now he's playing with Tiger v2.0 in the Presidents Cup.
He has more confidence in his swing than he has in probably 10-11 years. He is playing amazing golf.
He makes shots that I wouldn't even try.

Tiger motivates me to accomplish things in life. It takes an internal drive to accomplish anything within competitive golf at this point in his life. He owes us nothing. He doesn't need to play. Always put your head down and grind for the things you are passionate about

@@brianr3461 Only time will tell. But at the moment his swing looks very repeatable and reliable which will lead to more consistency and lower scores.
@@brianr3461 it has to do a lot with his mentality. Not just his game bro. When he was younger, yes, he was amazing and played through broken bones but he had rough time to make it through which hindered his real style of play. Now he is the most well rounded player. He gained the respect back from all players. He became their idol once again. It's called being reborn. If he had his mentality like he does now back then..... He would never have fallen. You can watch highlights and old rounds but I watched live for so many years and was and will always be a huge fan. His game back then was great... But that was his game. Look at him now and see all of the demons off of his shoulders that make it even better to watch him play. It definitely shows if you had watched for as long as we have.

When I started watching Tiger in '96 at my hometown course, I didn't know how great he would be. Everybody doesn't care for Tiger; fine he's still the best and as long as he plays I'll be a fan. Can't believe I'm crazy about golf!!! TIGER ALWAYS 🐐🐅

I truly hope Tiger can remain healthy because he still has probably 4-5 years left where he can have multiple win seasons. It's amazing to see him playing this well now after all of those surgeries and mainly how well he's driving the ball which was a problem for years. I think he'll win at least 2 or 3 next year with another major. These guys wanted a piece of him...they're gonna get it.

We have to remember that Tiger is doing this on a fused back. Other parts of his body have to absorb the energy of his golf swing, so let's appreciate this while it lasts. It's been amazing to watch.

Tbh I never thought he would come back but I always wanted him too because I love when he plays well. You can’t blame people for thinking he was finished but obviously he proved people wrong
More importantly he grew golf beyond what anyone thought possible.
Pretty mush lost 10 years due to personal problems and injuries, would have past Jack 18: by now an surely over 100 wins...without question the best golfer ever, if not for those lost 10 years it wouldn’t even be close

I started working at The Masters back in ‘97 when i was 16 and have been thousands of times. Its crazy to see Tiger still winning going into 2020. Amazing.

I like seeing Tiger having that look on the greens again. If you're his opponent look out. In 2000 he was incredible. To the young guns out there on tour you're lucky to have him back. Ill never forget him in pga against Bob May, epic battle.

It's unreal to think now that this would be the last time we'd ever see him truly at his best. Obviously no one could have predicted the crazy car accident, but sad in a way to look at this now as basically his final moment of glory.

I did as well. I think I was the only person who said Tiger would eventually come back. For some reason, I just knew he would. Even when he couldn't get out of bed, I just kept telling people that if he felt he was truly a great golfer, he will eventually find a way to get through his injuries, come back and win again.
Before Tiger Woods, no one ever imagined that golf could be played at such a high level.
