I see someone replied but deleted it. Yes I know that it's a huge country and not everyone is like that. That's simply what was told to me by someone else from there. Regardless of where a person is from rudeness like in this video is uncalled for.
She wore a different dress. She seems to have lots of friends and family who adore her. That's the impression I get from going through her family's online social media. Maybe the show upped the drama.
Part of the problem was yes she was VERY condescending and rude behind Rina's back but I also don't think she had any idea what dresses cost so she thought Rina was being just lazy or incompetent when Rina was working within HER budget. Many people don't know that buying a nice dress normally which might cost 50-100 bucks in the bridal world means you are spending 20x plus that for a dress.
people are used to buying stuff that has been manufactured on production lines in countries without a minimum wage and in generic stores where you have to find the clothes yourself. Wedding dresses are made to order and made by hand. Beading takes many many hours of work. Plus you are also paying for the prestige of the designer and the fact that you have someone waiting on you hand and foot for an hour. I agree wedding dresses are overpriced for what you get thanks to PR- but that is the business you are shopping in so you suck it up or get something made.
I believe that brides should be able to find their dresses on their own by looking at the dresses themselves because they know what they want. The consultant can just direct them to the price-range and styles. It is also less time-consuming because it will be the bride picking from the collection instead of describing what they want which many seem to fail to express properly.
Bride- I will do the job myself. ( gives a random look at a dress in the racks) Bride- U see, this is my dream dress. Consultant- u see, your dream dress is expensive. what a savage line.
I sometimes wonder if a person is truly arrogant, or using it as a shield to protect themselves. The consultant very professional, showed the bride the reality of how much each dress cost and why. (Personally I think all bridal dresses are overpriced) once the bride understood, she had know choice but to open up to other possibilities. Best wishes to the couple. They're going to need it.
I don’t think she is arrogant. I think she was anxious about her wedding and that is how it came across. I can’t imagine trying to describe something so abstract as how I would like a dress to look and make me feel in a language that is not my own. Also, keep in mind she is French and some of the ways she worded things would not come across as rude in that language. I a francophone and I work in an English school with a population that is Indigenous. Communication issues come up regularly and patience and understanding are a must.
@@rachelchiasson1767 saying “I don’t think the consultant can do her job” because she’s super hard to please is not anxiety. I experience anxiety and I would NEVER talk to someone that way. She was arrogant. Probably to hide her insecurities those dresses looked good on her but she probably doesn’t think so.
@@rachelchiasson1767 This was not an issue of anxiety or language barrier. When a person tells you who they are, believe them. She literally told us from the beginning that she's a difficult person. And she is. She is a narcissistic person, and it doesn't matter why right now. You don't treat people badly, especially someone that's trying to help you, and then later fake humility because you realize you just ate sh*t. She's a spoiled, entitled brat. If you can't interface with the world because you're so internally angry, then don't.
I disagree with your opinion of wedding dresses being overpriced, as someone who sews. A LOT of the beadwork is VERY time consuming and hand-stitched, so you have to factor in labor costs, besides materials to make a dress. It adds up very quickly, especially in these times. Not like a few years ago, when everything was cheaper.
Ha! I love it when the consultant politely, but basically, said: you may have all the requirements and the "taste" but can you back your talk with actual money?
I would have had to go to the restroom and hit the nicotine vape so I wouldn't smell like cigs, and THEN come back. Commercial break TLC = smoke break lol
Her budget is waaaay to low to be that picky, arrogant, rude and pretentious. She thinks more of herself than she really is. Be modest, humble and realistc and you will find a perfect dress.
Gold medal to the consultant! When her friend said it brought out another side of her, she wasn't kidding! Hopefully, bride will learn kindness one day.
She's very direct! She might come across rude, but I've known French people and it's more of a culture thing. Also she said it's the consultants job to find her something she likes, which is fair enough as she's paying. I'm glad she found a dress she liked. Maybe she should have gone to Gok because his dresses are more reasonably priced and more WOW! And I think Gok would of brought out another side of her that's more likable.
Give that consultant a raise, she’s awesome! The bride had ridiculously high expectations for £1,500. I’m glad she realised she needed to change her attitude & expectations. The dress she chose was truly beautiful, largely due to Rina’s extreme professionalism. Great outcome with a pretty demanding client. Great job!
The consultant, Rina was trying her best to keep in mind the bride's wishes for the dress while also keeping within budget. Some consultant's would immediately go over budget, David himself. Rina was incredibly respectful and kept her calm, while the bride was being quite rude. When she said behind Rina's back "I'll have to do her job", I was so annoyed with her. I understand Marion wanted to find the perfect dress for her wedding, but sometimes you need to pay extra for what you want. Other brides have also had a wake call when they've seen the reality of how much these dresses are and what they've been asking for. I'm glad Marion came round to being a little more open minded when it came to the style of dress and price. The dress she chose was gorgeous.
ugh i remember this bride the first time her episode was uploaded. how is anyone supposed to bring her what she wants when she describes a single dress as "too simple, too sparkly"? it can't be both. it's like she doesn't know what words mean.
I get that a lot of people here think the bride is annoying but I totally understand what means with that. Just cause the dress is sparkly doesnt mean it's suddenly interesting. A dress can be sparkly and boring at the same time

Picky bride??? No, Rude is the word!!! As we see on this show time after time, it is absolutely possible in life to be picky and "straight forward" without being rude... and this bride is incredibly rude!!! Rina is adorable and incredibly patient!!
Love the consultant. She actually stayed within budget. I've watched lots of episodes that asked for budget but always give over budget dresses causing heartbreaks. Brides should always come to a realization and agreement to the price before trying on more dresses.
In this business you need a lot of patience. When the bride realized that she should be more open to suggestions she was less rude and arrogant. You definitely have to pay more for something you love if the options are small.
The consultant getting the bride to go from 'if she can't do her job and get me the perfect dress under budget I'm walking out' to 'I'll be open minded and try on what she chooses' deserves a medal
I feel like the only person who didn't find the client that rude. She's just direct, has a dry delivery, and was frustrated that she couldn't find what she wanted after trying on so many dresses. Her expectations weren't reasonable and she needed to be brought back to reality, which the consultant did. I'm surprised no consultant set her straight earlier at any of the other shops.
It surprised me that she kept pushing that she was French, but had such a low budget for a "perfect dress". I kept thinking don't the French have Haute Couture which have insanely priced dresses?
True they have haute couture but that doesn’t mean everyone can afford it. Bentley is British, so does every British person drive one? Or at least a similarly priced car?
I think some things coming across as "rude" are also things that get "lost in translation"..meaning that even tough this bride speaks English quite well, it is not good enough to explain properly and she answered with very short answers because she probably didn't have the words to say it better.
What a nightmare. Whenever I think a Bridal Consultant would be an awesome job, I am shown why it wouldn’t. Hats off to the team and good luck to the groom! You’re gonna need it!
The B word comes to mind and it's not Bride! She should of been more open minded regarding her expectations she might of been able to find an even more amazing dress if she would of allowed her bridal consultant to do her job.
The bride and consultant clash with their personalities. They simply don’t like each other. That’s the first time I have seen that. The tension was strong.
I fee this is one of the most scripted episodes of this show with very clear message to future customers and critical audience as well. :) It's about realistic expectations and doing your homework before you choose where to look for what you want within your budget. There are many bridal stores out there, charity and second hand shops which carry beautiful gowns in very different price range. It's up to the bride to get informed about how far her money goes in each particular store. The same amount might not be able to buy you a belt in one store, but may be more than enough to buy you lovely gown in another. There is designer bridal couture, Charity shop and hundreds of options in between for every budget. This store has certain price range. All she needed to do is go elsewhere. She wasn't particular about antique lace or raw silk and handwork beading, her demands would be easily met in many stores. With more suitable price.
i mean that price WAS unreasonable, $4000 is an absolutely stupid price for any dress, much less one that was basically "embroidered flowers and a bit of bling."
@dietotaku Do you realize how much embroidery adds to the time and effort into making a dress? Yes, real embroidery instead of appliques costs significantly more. Maybe some of the dresses were overpriced. IDK. However, the bride chose that store in particular, so she should have been aware of their stock and price points.
@@dietotaku maybe. But you pay for material (silk, etc.), Labor (hand stitched embroidery and beading), and the name. People buy Tiffany because it's name, not because the no name unbranded stuff isn't quality. Don't get me wrong, a $4000£ dress isn't even in my orbit. My wedding cost $200 for the flowers and I did all the arrangements, bouquets, and boutonnieres. No way was I going over $500 for the entire wedding.

Loved the consultant’s attitude even when the bride was rude. She handled the whole appointment v well! 👏🏼👏🏼
But she had tried on many dresses at other stores.
@@dsquared1950 Doesn't mean they took the time to tell her about pricing or she wasn't so rude to the other staff they said screw her lol.
people are used to buying stuff that has been manufactured on production lines in countries without a minimum wage and in generic stores where you have to find the clothes yourself.
Yes that's what I did when I chose my dress! I was told where the ones within my budget were and told to choose 5-6 I wanted to try on, it was great!
AND also give them a realistic scope of what their budget has to offer
A+ for consultant...she worked hard and was honest with her client....it paid off....great choice....
She didn't buy it. Look for Denise Mensah on Facebook, profile pic of a woman with a baby. You'll find the image on her front page.
Bride- I will do the job myself.
( gives a random look at a dress in the racks)
Bride- U see, this is my dream dress.
Don't wonder, she is really this demanding and rude. Look at the way her mouth shows her impatience. It is actually reflected in her whole face.
God bless her husband 🙄🤦🏼♀️ she is a piece of work 🤦🏼♀️. And huge clap for Rina, you are so damn good girl! 😂❤️ you’ve just nailed it 💪🏼
Ha! I love it when the consultant politely, but basically, said: you may have all the requirements and the "taste" but can you back your talk with actual money?
I find her "taste" , as demonstrated by what she wore to this appointment, to be questionable.
Rina did a great job dealing with this woman with absolute grace. How many of us would have been so composed?
I would have had to go to the restroom and hit the nicotine vape so I wouldn't smell like cigs, and THEN come back. Commercial break TLC = smoke break lol
@kia b I think, I would just go back to smoking. One of the camera men is bound to have a cigarette.
This just sounds like first world problems lol
I resented the way she implied that Rina wasn't able to do her job properly.
The consultant is highly professional, humble and cool ❤️❤️❤️ love from Pakistan
She was so rude with Rina! Rina is a great person 💕💕
Rina was super patient with this bride Her expectations were too high.
Her expectations were too high within her budget.
Her budget is waaaay to low to be that picky, arrogant, rude and pretentious. She thinks more of herself than she really is. Be modest, humble and realistc and you will find a perfect dress.
Your comments were perfect. I couldn't have said it better if I tried! The bride was incredibly rude and soooooo full of herself!
@@vickicrisler6360 🥰
Gold medal to the consultant! When her friend said it brought out another side of her, she wasn't kidding! Hopefully, bride will learn kindness one day.
Hey David, you need to give Rina a raise! She earned it!
bride's really honouring the 'rude french' role
"Do you think you can?" 👊💥 I would've been fired from that job that day if I was that consultant, lol.
"She has to..it's her job" and "I will do the job"
Sorry..what??! That bride is so condescending
As a French, we don't claim this girl !
A dress can be sparkly and boring at the same time
@@alena6049 sparkly and boring, yes. Sparkly and simple, no. Simple literally means undecorated.
@@LakeB-zw7hc for something this important, I would at the very LEAST bring pictures of what I like. Besides, she did find what she wanted in that shop. The word she was looking for is "expensive."
The consultant has patience, she have a good attitude
I think everyone is being extremely nice to this woman here in the comment section, very proud of this audience!
I resisted the impulse to be nice.
Money hard earned and WELL DESERVED! Glad frenchie found a dress she liked. Hope she continues to address her approach to communicating with people who are just trying to help her.
Love the assistant: so pleasant and careful, even in the face of unpleasant and ignorant patrons.
She was in a different country speaking a different language …she knew she wanted to look nice for her wedding!!! I understand and good for her to persist on liking what she is going to wear not settling!❤️✅
Frrrrr like i don't understand how these consultant and staff get frustrated after showing two dresses.... it's a big day and they have every right to try on and find the dress
Consultant is amazing! I ADORE and respect her for talking to her about budget instead of making her cry after she fell in love with the dress and spring the price later
The consultant did well to help this bride! What a challenging client! Glad it all worked out!
If she can't handle the price of the Dress she wants in her dream ... she should dream within the limited budget she has... or be polite & respect ... but I love the consultant she is always nice & professional with all brides ... Bravo Consultant ... lots of respect to you
She wore a different dress.
I found her wedding picture on Facebook and she did not wear that dress. LOL
Share the link, please! Would love to see it.
Too bad I didn't see your comment before, but good job finding the picture. I did too and it wasn't so easy as some are. Her mother-in-law is Denise Mensah and she has a picture.
Not sure this marriage will work with this woman’s attitude and holier than thou attitude. The consultant was absolutely amazing!
This consultant deserves ALL of the praise for her patience.
Kudos to this Consultant for being so patient with this very picky and rude bride I would’ve lost it
this consultant deserves a raise............for her patience..........because of this rude bride..............smh
Everyone: the bride is so arrogant
Me: wowww the consultant’s hair is so pretty
The consultant needs a pay raise dealing with this bridge. She handled her very well.
The consultant is a boss..
In this business you need a lot of patience. When the bride realized that she should be more open to suggestions she was less rude and arrogant. You definitely have to pay more for something you love if the options are small.
as someone who works in a bridal shop… I’ll tell you this is something that happens very very very often
Retail work is not always simple. Tact and diplomacy are often required. This sales agent should be the lead of this show!!! She is FANTASTIC! 👏
Consultant has the patience of a saint..she did an amazing job.
This consultant is beautiful and so sweet
Moral of the story: if you're gonna come in with an attitude, better have the bugdet to go with it😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I love this consultant shes honest. Really great
The trigger word of this episode is “unreasonable”.
Chile I couldn't have been this consultant!
Bless her heart!
The consultant getting the bride to go from 'if she can't do her job and get me the perfect dress under budget I'm walking out' to 'I'll be open minded and try on what she chooses' deserves a medal
Good luck to the groom, hes gonna need it!
Prayers for her husband … he will need it
I feel like the only person who didn't find the client that rude.
@@evaebner370 Yeah, but she basically sounded like she expected that type of dress!
Wow .. this was a total reality check for the bride! Loved it!
WAIT - her budget was a measly $1500 for all that attitude??!! WTAF??!!!
Hat's off to the consultant for giving the french bridezilla a hug at the end 🥶
The way her friend talk about prior shopping experiences tells EVERYTHING. 🤣
Bride was rude but consultant managed to get her the dress of her dreams.... consultant was very kind♥️
Wow she's amazingly stunning in that last dress
She have every right to be picky but she is very rude.its not right. consultant is trying her best to please her, she have so much patience.
When men say “b*tches be cray”, they’re talking about this girl
The last dress - the one she chose - looked beautiful on her.
Wow 😳 The consultant isn't doing HER job, and if the gown she wants is over budget, then the price is unreasonable. Unbelievable.
i mean that price WAS unreasonable, $4000 is an absolutely stupid price for any dress, much less one that was basically "embroidered flowers and a bit of bling."
I think that french people are different culturally and can be difficult but Rina ruled the day.
The French are known for their rudeness but she wins the prize😂
It’s ok to be picky, but always be KIND.
Bridezilla! Rude! Arrogant!
Consult was EXCELLENT. These type of people are straight to the point with their added rudeness. Consultant was straight too because that’s what they understand and she was patient. Yes, tell her she needs to up her budget. Consultant was very good at tell her this otherwise it would have been a disaster.
Ugh I feel for her fiance/husband. The consultant was amazing.
I'm half Portuguese and half french woman like her is why I never tell people I'm french
The first dress with the "belt" would have actually looked really nice
