when you have that many kids with that much age difference, you can virtually guarantee that there's some parentification of the older kids going on, so i think it's very likely that the mother acts more like an aunt because she was a lot less involved in raising the bride than the sister was.
It looks like the sister has assumed the mother role because of the age gap not that she parented her.. I think she was just smitten with her baby sister and still is ❤️

Her sister is a big headed know it all with hideous lipstick! The bride is so pretty, and you could totally tell that she wasnt *really* in love with that dress. I dont blame her.
Poor girl ended up having just what her bullying much older sister wanted !!! WHAT a shame Mum didnt step in on her behalf and tell BIG sister to let her choose what she wanted .. other two dresses suited her much more for her age and trying on a few more styles she could of got something amazing !!
When you live with a bully sadly you don’t recognize that you are being bullied! The dress was way too much for such a small bride 👎🏼 beware : next she will be picking out your children’s names !!!!!!!!
i dont think the bride had a choice either, the sister looked like her mum even more than the mother. the sister probably pushed herself into the party. if she is 23 and the sister has been married for 21 years- she must be at least 40? and the mom 65? going by super average ages. the sister probably called the mom's choices outdated and decided she would be the face of the entourage with that lipstick. the weirdest part for me is how a lot of these pushy/ controlling families are very common and only on camera does the cringe actually feel like it. otherwise it seems to be a problematic norm for everything.
Yes, she's married, but I also feel that *now* she was shopping for the dress she wanted to have for herself in the first place, but she didn't have. So she forced it on her sister.
"The old grey mare. . ." keeps running through my head. The last dress was made for a more mature woman. Nesrin, you are getting married. Start forming your own opinions & stick to them. Your sister needs to see you as an adult. Trust yourself.
I feel bad for her :( you could tell she didn’t love the dress at first but only loved it because her sister and mother did. She fell in love with the dress because of her controlling family :/
Better taste! I know everything! I don't like it! I don't love the corset back! I this! I that! Oh c'mon! Do you really know what lipstick will look good on yourself!
That’s what I did for my dress for my first wedding. I got EVERYTHING I asked for and NOTHING I said I didn’t want (and I had a HUGE list of demands). The only thing I actually had to compromise on was the fabric, and I was so DELIGHTED with everything else that that one thing wasn’t going to stop me from buying what I thought was an almost PERFECT dress. Then, I took it to the seamstress and she made it EVEN BETTER. She thought of a couple of things I had never even considered! I got the whole she-bang with slippers and a tiara for 800 bucks! Unfortunately, my fiancé wouldn’t let me change out of my dirty work uniform - not even into a Sunday dress - and I looked like crap on what should’ve been the happiest day of my life. But it was the UNHAPPIEST day of my life because of the jerk I married. If I had worn that beautiful dress, it would’ve ruined the dress, too (if only in my mind). But sometimes, you just have to go through a little hell to make you ready for the Love of your Life, who is AMAZING, and who loves me so much more than I could’ve ever hoped for when I was 23, and with a nightmare of a man. ❤️❤️❤️💓💓💓💞💞💞💯💯💯
Not everyone knows exactly what they want. Helping them figure it out is literally the consultant's job. Yet look how irritated David gets when this bride is only just in the 3rd dress. 4:40 I would never go to this store.
@@Aaakeith I usually assume the same, but David's comment at 4:40 tracks precisely to the 3 dresses we were shown. I believe we did indeed see every dress the bride tried on, at least up until the moment of his comment.
He often gets frustrated - not sure if that is the editing, but I wouldn’t want him for a consultant. He should have taken more control of the sister - she had been married for 21 years and her taste is obviously a lot different.

The dress is lovely but it felt like the bride liked it more after she saw that her entourage loved the dress. She didn't seem to think about it too positively when she first came out
I hate the dress the sister picked. I thought the one her sister said "Get it off" was the most flattering. This sister is full of herself and the bride-to-be should have ignored her and picked the dress she wanted. I know she should have tried on more dresses until she found the one that choked her up or brought tears to her eyes.
Bride at the beginning of appointment: I want an ivory dress with a sweetheart neck, something that has jacquard print, or with some embroidery on there, mermaid style David later on: Nesrin doesn't know what she wants! Sounds like she had a very clear idea what she wanted, but they just let her sister confuse everything...
The first 2 dresses with her preferred neckline are trumpet dresses because they flare out higher than the knees as compared to mermaid dresses that flare out on or below the knees. If they had let her try an actual mermaid the flare might not have overwhelmed her.
Diana’s dress didn’t fit well due to her anorexia and was wrinkled in the carriage. I think it otherwise it fit with 80ms dress and was certainly memorable and Princess sized. But I wasn’t alive then so can’t say exactly how much it fit at the times.
Well he dressed one Royal (who wasn't actually Royal on the day she married). And it was 40 years ago. Plus it was him and his wife / partner who dressed Diana. Not him alone.
Dianna’s dress was the most beautiful dress that had been seen for the time period and became iconic with brides everywhere copying it for years afterward. Now, 40 years later it looks very poofy and 80s but for it’s time it was THE DRESS. It was the height of style and the fabric looked amazing throughout the day. Let’s give it it’s due.
I did the exact same thing, allowed my sis and mom to pick my dress. They were so pushy that they knew what was best! 2 days later I went back by myself and picked the dress I wanted and didn't tell them! And when it spilled over onto other aspects of the wedding, we eloped and got married just the 2 of us at a small house with a JOP! Buahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
The 1st dress was a fit and flare the 2nd dress was a trumpet, David Emmanuel never once put her in a mermaid like she asked and than made it seem like she didn't know what she wanted..🤦🤦🤦
Back in 1966, my sister did it the smart way. She shopped for and bought her wedding gown BY HERSELF! Didn't tell anybody she was doing it. And she chose well. She bought a sample off the sale rack ...... it didn't even need any alterations ....... the store had it cleaned for her at not cost. My mom bought her veil for her ....... her veil cost more than her dress.
I'm concerned yet again about a recently posted clip. The bride has been planning a wedding for most of her life, but has she been planning a marriage? It seems that she wants to go from one household who takes care of her to another. She doesn't seem mature enough to be married yet. The sister also needs to back off a bit and allow her to find out who she is. It's not just about what someone can do for you, but what you bring to a relationship.
Oh dear. Nesrin looks absolutely beautiful in almost everything! I have to say though, by the way this was edited I don’t know if the bride is totally convinced with the final dress. The strapless looks GORGEOUS on her! Wish she would’ve gone with one
Were you directed to pick that one for the show or was it that you didn’t find anything and they should pretend to pick something after time ran out? Or something else?
Yeah I totally agree with you. It doesn't suit her at all... Don't know what her elder sister was thinking... Probably only about how right she is... 😒
I had to laugh when the bride said that if her fiancee didn't cry that she was walking back up the aisle...I'm a wedding photographer and I always tell my grooms that if they don't cry I might just give them a little kick to the shin to help them out lmao!
So she went pass three gorgeous dresses that she liked..... And ended up with that 🤔🤔🤔 . So is her sister going to tell her how to operate all throughout her marriage too? 🤔
I don't think the bride was happy with the dress. The older sister should have let her have what she wanted. The sister is jealous. The bride will look at her pictures in 10 years and say what was i thinking?????

When you live with a bully sadly you don’t recognize that you are being bullied! The dress was way too much for such a small bride 👎🏼 beware : next she will be picking out your children’s names !!!!!!!!
Hope she finds the courage to remove herself from her sister's vice like grip.
Imagine getting fashion advice from someone wearing a shade of pink lipstick from 1987
Riiiight!!!
Was thinking similar
What a insult 😹🤣
Wow. Didn't realize lipstick shades had eras. !!!!
The shade of it all…
So basically she wanted a trumpet silhouette lol.
Yep but with a lower flare.
How could this lipstick have an opinion.
Matching with her nails I- 🤡
Fr tho. When you have no real personality so you wear one 😂
I thought the exact same thing🤣
omfg I just commented something similar. and yes!! like how do you look at that lipstick and take anything it says srsly about YOUR day??
I was looking for this comment! Like… c’mon! 😬
This is why I’m only bringing my mother and my mother-in-law (who both agreed it’s my day and the dress is my choice)
saying a plain "get it off! get it off please!" when your SISTER just said she loves her dress is utterly unconsiderate!
This sister is an insensitive bully and the bride needs to cut the strings. But will she have the courage?
Honestly y’all just don’t bring your sisters with you 😂
I would be devastated if my sister didn’t invite me… I do know when to shut up however 😁
Glad my sister isn't as controlling as hers. So i can bring her without having second thought.
i dont even have a sister i have 3 brothers lol
Right, my three sisters are REALLY opinionated but I also wouldn’t buy a gown without their input lmao
i dont think the bride had a choice either, the sister looked like her mum even more than the mother. the sister probably pushed herself into the party. if she is 23 and the sister has been married for 21 years- she must be at least 40? and the mom 65? going by super average ages. the sister probably called the mom's choices outdated and decided she would be the face of the entourage with that lipstick. the weirdest part for me is how a lot of these pushy/ controlling families are very common and only on camera does the cringe actually feel like it. otherwise it seems to be a problematic norm for everything.
I feel like the sister is mentally shopping for a wedding dress that she feels she isn't going to be given the opportunity buy/shop her herself
Thought that at first but she’s already married
She is already married tho
Yes, she's married, but I also feel that *now* she was shopping for the dress she wanted to have for herself in the first place, but she didn't have. So she forced it on her sister.
Her sister is obese. She won’t fit in any of them.
@@odedoyco8717 HOW RUDE! How disrespectful can you be!
"The old grey mare. . ." keeps running through my head. The last dress was made for a more mature woman. Nesrin, you are getting married. Start forming your own opinions & stick to them. Your sister needs to see you as an adult. Trust yourself.
The show is set up. My sister is nothing like they portrayed her. And I did not buy a dress from here..
Um this dress wasn’t the one in my opinion but she is beautiful & her back does look pretty
I feel bad for her :( you could tell she didn’t love the dress at first but only loved it because her sister and mother did. She fell in love with the dress because of her controlling family :/
Perhaps she was only pretending to.
She looks amazing in every dress
صح
Better taste! I know everything! I don't like it! I don't love the corset back! I this! I that! Oh c'mon! Do you really know what lipstick will look good on yourself!
It’s decided: if I ever have to shop for a wedding dress again, I will go by myself. No entourage at all.
This!
🙂 I went by myself. Less stressful. Plus I know my own mind about what suits me and what doesn't.
David is so snarky, if he wasn't who he is then a regular sales assistant would never get away with that kind of tone 🙄🙄🙄
....I find him to be a condescending snob. Very snarky.
I wish the bride says:"Not your wedding,I love this dress and gonna wear it"The last dress was awful for her 2nd one was so much better.
I hate that dress she picked it looked way too heavy on her little frame
Absolutely did!
Not everyone knows exactly what they want. Helping them figure it out is literally the consultant's job. Yet look how irritated David gets when this bride is only just in the 3rd dress. 4:40 I would never go to this store.
As with all these episodes, I usually assume there were other dresses tried on that just didn’t make the cut for the sake of the episode length
Neither would I! I'm not British, but if by some miracle I were to Ever get married again [ha ha, not gonna happen!] I would travel from my home state of North Carolina to have an appointment with Auntie Gok in Lancashire, or to Curvy Brides Boutique to have Jo and Al as my consultants.
This dress didn’t touch the brides heart. No tears. She knew exactly what she wanted and didn’t get it.
The dress is lovely but it felt like the bride liked it more after she saw that her entourage loved the dress. She didn't seem to think about it too positively when she first came out
She didn't seem to like any of the dresses she tried
Omg the sister is bang out of order . Have a word David.
I just hope the sister watches this video and read the comments... Come on, Nesrin didn't look that excited for the final dress
I wrote that as well. The sister needs a reality check.
“Cross fingers crossed toes crossed....”
Cross stitching your mouth closed 😑😑😑
🤣🤣
Bride at the beginning of appointment: I want an ivory dress with a sweetheart neck, something that has jacquard print, or with some embroidery on there, mermaid style
David later on: Nesrin doesn't know what she wants!
Sounds like she had a very clear idea what she wanted, but they just let her sister confuse everything...
🙄 She didnt like the several Mermaid dresses she tried on
Damn her eyeliner is just perfect
too long and makes sad eyes
Sally needs to learn that the manners you use with your family should at least reach the same level that you would a stranger on the street.
The first 2 dresses with her preferred neckline are trumpet dresses because they flare out higher than the knees as compared to mermaid dresses that flare out on or below the knees. If they had let her try an actual mermaid the flare might not have overwhelmed her.
I think her sister is really her mom. It certainly appears that way.
When the sister said she hate everything about the dress, I was like: Who’s wedding is this, yours or your sisters 🙂
The 1st dress was much more beautiful on her than the one picked by her sister IMO.
"He has dressed royalty". Well. Not many people like Diana's dress. Honestly, I think it's a very strange and unflattering piece.
She will regret getting the dress , she didn't have a bridal moment her sister ran that appointment . It was her wedding not her sisters .
Second dress was perfect for her... she's too influenced by older sister who FORGOT it is NOT HER WEDDING 💔👎😡
Sister's dress looked too mature for her.
The dress is aging her and more importantly , the bride doesn't seem to LOVE it ( at least to me )
The sister is so selfish
Shes so sweet and beautiful butttttt... She’s gonna return that dress. Can’t wait to watch the episode 😂
Sis needs to shut up. It’s not her day. She’s projecting her insecurities on the bride🙄
The first ones was more her style. She was more invested to not disappoint her sister than pleasing herself.
Sister is a control freak.
So she can stand up to her fiance but not her sister
Oh dear. Nesrin looks absolutely beautiful in almost everything! I have to say though, by the way this was edited I don’t know if the bride is totally convinced with the final dress. The strapless looks GORGEOUS on her! Wish she would’ve gone with one
Thank you ❤️ but the show is very set up and I did not wear or buy that final dress xx my wedding trailer is on my husbands RUclips Edris Ahmadi x
Were you directed to pick that one for the show or was it that you didn’t find anything and they should pretend to pick something after time ran out? Or something else?
@@sarasamaletdin4574 I didn’t find anything I liked so they just said if you want for the shows purpose you can say yes to the dress so I did
Even if someone cries during the appointment you shouldn't choose Your dress based on that
It's NOT the sister's day, she's already married!! Was it within budget?
Those straps just don't work. They're WAY too thick for her body type. She should've gone with thin straps or strapless.
Yeah I totally agree with you. It doesn't suit her at all... Don't know what her elder sister was thinking... Probably only about how right she is... 😒
This is like a situation where I feel like Lori could just walk in and everything would be fine
I totally agree
or Randy or Gok
I had to laugh when the bride said that if her fiancee didn't cry that she was walking back up the aisle...I'm a wedding photographer and I always tell my grooms that if they don't cry I might just give them a little kick to the shin to help them out lmao!
So she went pass three gorgeous dresses that she liked..... And ended up with that 🤔🤔🤔 . So is her sister going to tell her how to operate all throughout her marriage too? 🤔
There’s a fine line between critique and critical 😂
Her sister acts like she knows everything about dresses
This is her appointment, not her sister's. This is her experience, not her sister's!
I don't think the bride was happy with the dress. The older sister should have let her have what she wanted. The sister is jealous. The bride will look at her pictures in 10 years and say what was i thinking?????
I thought she was wanting the straps to be taken off. How does changing the back detail make that better?!🙄
She looked amazing in dress #2 & #3. That last dress made her look old, it was the dress wearing her and not the other way around.
“He’s going make a lot of money and I’m going to spend it”
Haha
Sister you ruined your sister's dress choice. The first three looked beautiful on her. And she certainly had the figure to pull if off. But instead you put her in a matronly dress and make her feel like that's what she should choose. SHAME on these relatives that pick for themselves and not the BRIDE!!!
Love the show..the one thing that put me off was the bride saying.."he's gonna earn a lot of money and I'm gonna spend it". Babe, you can earn your own, if not, be respectful of his earnings.
Youngwoman needs to be confident in her decisions it's not her sister's dress it's her dress she's letting them overtake her power
The sister's neon lipstick says it all.
I love watching this videos, but the opinion of the bride family and friends honestly get on my nerves this is about the bride not family or friends.
For me, all 4 dresses are gorgeous on her
She kept saying that she wanted "mermaid," but I think that what she was describing was more "trumpet."
I wish I had a sister. Not like her, but just a sister 😅
I've got five. Want one? Lol
@@thePhoenixQueen yes please 😁🥰
@@thePhoenixQueen give me the dog or the cat 😅😇😜
@@AdisaKola My babies are off limits, lol
I'll share mine, she's wonderful
The sister made it about her. She didn't trust her sister but was scared of her.
“I already told him if he doesn't cry I'm walk in back” I love her 😂 😂
yk what all these dresses were gorgeous i love the detailing the slim fitting and fish tail they were honestly so pretty
I have a feeling she said yes for them and does not like that dress and will regret it forever :(
