I think to stop god jack will be possesed by lucifer who has already has the power of jack when he stole his grace and now jack will combine his strength with lucifer and billy will bring them both back bcz she doesn't want the world to end.
And my last theory is amara will help the boys with jack and lucifer and god will be caged like amara did but this time for good.If they kill god then the sun will die so they will try to cage him. Amara will cloak them against chuck so he doesn't know what they are planning. So in the end god will be caged and jack 's soul will be brought by billy (Death) and then jack will kill lucifer again and send the ghosts to hell permanently.After that castiel will become happy and the empty will take castiel . AND THE SERIES WILL END!!

My theory is that Chuck HAD a soul. I've said this elsewhere, but death said he'd reap God, and reapers reap souls. God made humans in his image, we have souls, angels don't. I think Chuck was the original soul of the universe. But he's been hanging out with a soul eater and..... She got a little peckish

Only reason I'm still coping after watching Jack die is that it looks like death is gonna bring Jack back, I'm betting because he's the one who can stop God and save the world. Hope the show ends with Jack being the new GOD. No one is more precious and perfect as him. With and without a soul to me lol...the empty is probably only agreeing to Jack returning so Cas gets his happy ending too.
Jack as God at the end could fit to the vision Cas had when jack was unborn.But about that no Soul, i'm not sure about that. Death said it's all about souls once, and it seems like demons or Angels or Monsters don't have souls,but want them to boost any kind of Power. And if a Soul is powerfull enough to create magic that can kill an Archangel, than who knows what else it can power. Jack could create Angels,that didn't come from Michaels Grace. Maybe it came from the remaining parts of his Soul? And btw, why can't chuck create a new Soul for Jack, there are people born every minute on earth, all with souls,can't be that complicated. Maybe they don't come from Chuck? anyway,will be a crazy last session.

The clown was John Wayne Gacy the serial killer. The boys didn’t kill him. It’s just human souls (as far as we saw) so it doesn’t look like purgatory or the empty monsters are coming back. Anyone else realize that Chuck gave the boys the perfect way to end the series “guns blazing” going out in a blaze of glory? Season 15 finale - the boys agree not to be Chuck’s fav show anymore and Dean shoots Sam in the head with Chuck’s equalizer.
didn't they kill John Wayne Gacy's spirit/ghost a couple episodes (the one with the kids), so I still think its only ones they killed and some zombies but who knows

I know one of the guys has gone on record saying they thought Sam and Dean should go out in the blaze of glory. It wouldn't surprise me if the show does end that way, but I have thought for like seven years that the brothers would kinda end up going their separate ways. With Sam relaunching the American Men of Letter and Dean would continue to travel the back roads hunting things with another hunter.

The scene with Jack and his grandma this episode just... Made me want to cry. Like part of me understood her panic and anger, but the other part me was just like I know he's soulless so he can't really feel the weight of this but... Holy crap owww.
I think this was one of the best season finales! There's a lot of people saying that Jack, Death, The Shadow and Amara team up against God and seal him away with the help of resurrected Archangels, as they did to Amara. Another theory is that they kill God and make Jack the new God as Jack is said to be the closest power to God that isn't Amara or the Empty. :D

Absolutely love the fact that you’re a true fan of the series, I’ve been watching a few reactions and not many people understood wtf was going on during the end sequence. You picked up on it from the appearance of the woman in white season 1 episode 1 flash back! Huge thumbs up great reaction can’t wait for October 10th!

Me, 1 year later: oh..so that's what they meant.
So I expected Jack to release Lucifer this episode just to have someone who understands him and all... But now I feel like Sam/Dean & Cas will set him free. Not that they will stand a chance against Chuck with Lucy, but maybe he could think of SOMETHING.
Billy, the empty, jack, lucifer, maybe even michael all will join to defeat god. That's why the empty is smiling when jack shows up, god can invade the empty territory at least.
I’m pretty sure Amara is coming back too, so if they get her on their side, they might stand a chance

Maybe they start season 15 episode 1 in another parallel universe. We get introduced to the alternate Sam and Dean. Jack is tasked with helping them stop Chuck. This Sam and Dean are not hunters, but it turns out that all Sam's and Dean's are instinctually born to hunt. They avenge the original Supernatural universe by series finale, then go back home to the happy lives that Sam and Dean never had - remember, this is parallel universe Sam and Dean.

Jack and the cosmic entity can travel anywhere but they’re certainly not everywhere at once. Death is everywhere. Omnipresent
Jack is only 2 and while death is old the cosmic entity controls the empty. From what seems everything came from. He’s very old and I’m sure has vast knowledge. Omniscient
And while death and the cosmic entity are powerful jack has shown great strength and has probably only barely tapped into his power. Could very well be omnipotent.
All 3 is what is considered to be God. I think they kill chuck and the 3 merge to one and become the new god.
NOW THAT was a fucking season cliff hanger. Best one since season one in Baby when the Trucker smashed them all....

he made the gun because 1st of all, jack might now be transcendedly immortal (outside of god's control) so therefore he will use something that isnt in his control (free will, supposedly) to shoot jack fatally (because god can't do it. he can't kill someone and die too because of how the gun works, if god perishes, so does everything else does.)
the reason behind how the gun works:
1.the gun effectively turns anything into a mortal seen as the user is a human.
2. 1 works because if god can't control jack, he'll use something he doesn't control. free will. supposedly from humans so sam or dean has to do it.
3.all of this is what god (chuck) wanted to make you think. but it's all a lie. he is the greatest strategist. god can control jack and everything else but he just wants to be entertained with creation; the chaotic neutral.

That was a great cliffhanger but if it's good or bad is entirely dependent on how it goes down in S15.
I take everything chuck said in this episode as a lie up until when dean didnt shoot jack.....hes not scared of jack, he could kill him any time he wanted(obviously) and souls are not difficult for him......just like real stories, if was to just snap his fingers and fix everything, there would be no adventure and thats what he wants....he was just playing that role so the story would unfold the way he wrote it....until it didnt.
This season was really good imo. Like my ONLY major complaint was the excessive amount of Mark P and that whole plot line. Other than that it was a pretty strong season, there were only a few meh episodes for me. This season was generally enjoyable to watch, and it wasn't super predictable like last season. The plot didn't seem to drag and there were a lot of really good stand alone episodes (looking at you 14x15 👀)
For me, the villains were really good this season, unlike asmodeus who was just... so _blah_. Nick was probably the only bad villain this season. Michael was fun to watch, especially when Jensen played him but tbh all of the actors slayed in that role. I didn't like that they were turning Jack into a villain because I love him too much, but we're not supposed to want him to go evil and that storyline was pretty well done. I LOVE the empty as a villain, it's so creepy especially when that actress who played dumah took the role. It was an intense and unsettling scene. I like that they introduced it in season 11 and waited until season 13 to elaborate on that and only in season 14 establish it as a potential big bad. I think that kept it from feeling like it came from nowhere and it really feels like a threat.
Now chuck, I have a lot of feelings about chuck. I think the decision to make Chuck a villain (maybe even the big bad of next season) was a good one. His character has always sort of straddled the line between good and bad for me after his reveal. He's done a lot of bad things off screen and we've seen his dark side leak out a little before, like when he tossed metatron for calling him a coward. He's always been aloof and obsessed with his writer persona. The idea of him enjoying Sam and Dean's pain isn't a new one, he said that the reason he made 'Chuck ' was for a front row seat.
Looking back at it, I think the writers knew they wanted Chuck to be the villain early on in the season. Especially because in the comic con trailer for season 14 they played that same song as the end scene (God was never on your side, which was a _perfect_ choice for that scene and this episode). That one might be a coincidence but they definitely knew by the mid season premiere judging by Michael's speech about his motivations and desire to kill God. Sure, there's a chance that they just came up with that on the fly but I doubt it. (As people have pointed out, Chuck was introduced in the episode 'The Monster at the end of the book' which I would be lying if I said that was planned, but it's very fitting)
Idk, I like this episode a lot because it makes me look at previous seasons with a new perspective without making me have to do mental gymnastics to avoid contradicting canon. Anyway, I kinda hope God is the final big bad (if not I could live with that being the empty) because that seems just the right amount of extra for this batshit crazy show to go out with.
The ultimate villain driving every single painful moment or death in the Winchesters lives was chuck himself. He twisted stories and moments and wanted Dean to kill Jack.... but Dean won’t... bc deep down... he’s a good man who loves Jack.... chuck took Mary to turn Dean on Jack.... everybody hating on Dean even though he is the way chuck forced him to be... that’s all folks ✌️

i hate him but i also feel so bad for him. he has a god complex for sure. i mean he wants to create something that works on its own, and something he thinks is complete, but he never succeeds at it. he also feels like everything he creates is insignificant compared to him. so he toys with the winchesters1' and everone's life. i just feel bad for him. he was super freaking lonely before Amara came back because he cast her away. Eventhough he was happy for a moment when they made up with Amara. They most have lost touch again or had an argument cause i think that's when Chuck acts up or falls into depression and goes back to being a hermit. so i hate him but i feel bad for him. Even if he is omnipotent he's only "human".
