W.A.S.P has so many great songs, but this will always be my favorite, as well as the most memorable. They opened for Kiss in '86 on kiss's Asylum Tour and W.A.S.P's The Last Command Tour and this is the song they came out with. Fucking awesome!!!! They had they giant heads on stakes like in the inner sleeve of The Last Command with towels and when they hit the stage, each of them yanked their towels off. So awesome!
Steve Riley is a stud. Drummers pay attention to his style. I saw wasp twice, once at the long beach arena in Ca , it was the last command tour. Caught them once previous at the orange show in San Bernardino, they opened up with hellion. It was so loud! I was in the front row getting smashed (stand up festival style seating). I was so close I could have touched Blackies feet if I wanted to. What great times, I don't see a movement of music like this ever coming around again. These millenials are a bunch of talentless hacks. What a great thing to experience though!
I was at that show!!! Helix was the Opener, Wasp was the Middle and Krokus was the Headliner...Wasp BLEW em both away...was right up at the front as well. Also saw them there opening for Iron Maiden...Man the Orange Show was the place to go to see a show back in the 80’s...
Wow...fuckn great man. I saw them in '97 in Germany. First Time for me see them live. Chris Holmes was back in line Up. And you saw them in the middle eighties...thats so epic I wish i could have been there...at this time i was 12 years old, in small town in west Germany. The only one in my School who listened to that kind of Music. Hail to WASP. Where are you now? Best wishes to you
Hi Randy. I'm a huge fan. I've always loved your style, your guitars and your playing. I do a few songs of yours on my channel. I really do try to capture your 'feel'... I hope I do you justice...
I was st this concert, the big hairdo next to me and my cousin, got a Ground Bloom flower firework launched into his hair and it let him up like a flame , I was 13 years old and our dads drop us off. this was my favorite wasp lineup big kids my fucking ass and I was really happy with the way they took over the crowd even as the opening act to the mighty Iron Maiden. best fucking lineup , every song was pummeling and fresh. metal was alive and well in Southern California , no phones in your face just people having the best time of their life. this was first rock concert I'll never forget it. Blackie should have stayed on the bass guitar which was where he seemed at home. watch the video it speaks for itself , and his voice is unbelievable ! which this lineup will get back together.
Unfortunately was an 89 kid and was never able to see them. They must've been an unbelievable band to see live, Blackies voice must've been something to hear live!
Such a great time. Such close degrees of separation. Eddie Van Halen, George Lynch, Chris Holmes shredding and crossing paths. One of Chris Holmes' star guitars ended up with early EVH correct? Randy owned a practice studio where so many rented space. Blackie's vision from Sister, Electric Circus, and W.A.S.P. led to amazing bands.
Wow I'm old I saw Metallica at the whiskey and Megadeth wow the faster the minutes go by the day slows down. It would be nice to know you were in the good old days before you realized you aren't there anymore 😉
Great to hear your comment... I almost got to see WASP And Maiden that year....ALMOST...Glad u got this clip..check out Iron Maiden. Behind the Iron Curtain if u haven't yet good man. Historic stuff. Love your countries friend. I'm in Kansas USA..
Saw wasp quiet riot motley Crue at the whiskey tix were$8 I walked in on the right side bands only door I was a long hair hessian. Wearing a Slayer shirt. Everyone thought I was a roadie gazzaries was a crappy night now known to all the key club. And yes to all of you sunset strip is dead
Everybody younger that me thinks they understand the 80's until you explain to them that the last guitarist of the New York Dolls moved there with Arthur Kane, eventually created an occult image and influential bands that inspired everything that became "Glam Metal"
Randy and Chris….guitar combo from HELL!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Take me back to the 80s and leave me there. Such a good era for metal.
My mind operates like a time machine // I'm retro-80s by choice
Faaaaaawk yeah 👍
...and i wanna be with You Brother
Yeah let's go!
U got that right
Hey Randy. It is 2023 and we are still rocking this stuff. I will until I die. The best and only W.A.S.P. era for me is until you left
What has Randy piper and Tony Richards been up since wasp anybody know ?
💯 agree
Now that was a concert.. . Crazy times..

Still one of my favorites! This song never loses its significance and awe!
I wish this lineup wouldnt have broken up
Richard Coffman
As do I!
It really does hurt. I thought that Chris Holmes was still on-board but nope.
Me to. Got to see them when they first came out. Best line up ever.

Totally the truth. We'll never see this energy again. Its heartbreaking. What a damn awesome period in history!

I think you're right. I doubt if we will ever see RNR like this again. It's sad to say but I think rock is dead altogether.
Wow...fuckn great man. I saw them in '97 in Germany. First Time for me see them live. Chris Holmes was back in line Up. And you saw them in the middle eighties...thats so epic

alex martinez Powerslave tour
O WASP é o Motley cruel com altos níveis de testosterona
only 30k hits..... and pure garbage gets 3/4 of a billion, kill me now i dont want to be here.
powerslave tour
1:29 You can hear the bass-line, but he's NOT playing. It's called editing and I'm not a big fan of that.
There's a backing track, but probably someone offstage playing. Blackie's bass is plugged in though, the bass becomes louder when he starts playing it
Cheap trick looks weird here lol
Cocaine boy's? Could ya play this faster?
Everybody younger that me thinks they understand the 80's until you explain to them that the last guitarist of the New York Dolls moved there with Arthur Kane, eventually created an occult image and influential bands that inspired everything that became "Glam Metal"
It's not the same without Tony Richards. Steve Riley is nothing special.
To tell you what, I got to see them when they first came out, seen them in Augusta Georgia & Tony was the drummer.
1984, opened up for quiet riot at the Richmond County civic center in Augusta Georgia
