What makes the perfect sleeper tuner car? This Buick Regal GS sure does make a great argument. With the factory supercharger swapped for a single turbo with a result of 400 horsepower straight to the front wheels! With Buick known as the boring old person brand - they managed to make this thing an absolute beast of a street car.

About 50 people have sent me this video. Thanks for the shoutout. Believe it or not Bo’s car is pretty mild. Mine makes 800+ with not much else. Stock bottom end. Engines are very tough to kill.

This car is proof that you don't need the best looking car or an extremely fast car as long as it's clean it has my respect, I never would have expected to like this car but it's amazing how some wheels, suspension, and some clean paint can make any car look fantastic. Not to mention it has 400HP!

I love that people are starting to discover this generation GS. They were amazing cars and for the era they flew . Then the folks that upgraded them man did they have something special. That 3800 was bullet proof !!!!!!

Also am I the only one who was so worried about the 4t65e every time David hit the gas? 😂😂

Fun fact: Those "luxury" seats are actually from an 05-08 grand prix gxp. Love the video!

If this dude really had no idea the L67 supercharged was a "legitimate platform," then he's going to absolutely sh*t his pants whenever he finds out what a Grand National is.

Bo's Regal has been a fan favorite of ours for a while. Glad you enjoyed the ride!

We still have our 2003 GS that now my son drives back and forth to school. Ported supercharger, ZZP Headers, high ratio rockers, 3.3 pulley making about 320 hp when it has the performance tune and high octane gas. Detuned, makes 290 all day long, and averaged 27.5 mpg driving 80 plus, for two days on a trip to Florida. Now has 187,000 miles and doesn't burn a drop.I love the car too much to part with it. Plus when I drive it, its fun to roll past people who think its a slow beater.

The BEST Sleeper and stays in the Buick Family also with a 3.8 V-6 and a TURBO the size of your head! lol I own a 1987 Buick Grand National Intercooled Turbo w/t-tops. The FASTEST CAR in Production in the WORLD in 1987. I have Original 46k in miles a few bolt ons under the hood thats a must. Outside stock with some dark tint to match the whole "Blacked Out" look. Darth Vader, your car awaits you

Miss my 3800 every day. I had a 2dr GP and it went like hell! So much faster and built so much better quality and a lot stronger than my now Challenger, no joke! Glad to see there's still some 3800s around!

I remember when these were new on the lots - not many were produced with the supercharger, but mainly with the NA v6. Nice to see someone keep one on the road and have some mods thrown at it.

I absolutely love the Buick Regal GS. I miss my 02 Regal GS. The only downside about them is the transmission can't handle the amount the torque they put out. The 3800 V6 is bulletproof.

This is the cleanest Buick I've ever seen. The aesthetic and the mods are just perfect.

My dad drove one of these when I was in high school - it was the car I learned to drive on and took my drivers test on the day I turned 16. My parents brought both cars so I could drive home on my own, in the Regal. At the exit of the licensing place, making sure my dad was following directly behind me in my rearview mirror, I turned off traction control and laid a big smoky burnout. I looked back and saw my dad nervously chuckling, maybe a biiit upset. But that was a fun car. Quickest sedan to 60 when it was new at 6.4 seconds. Fun times were had in that Buick.

Just bought my first supercharged 3800, 07 Grand Prix GT. Can confirm, this front wheel drive car is fun to drive, and the weird exhaust sound throws me back to my high school days in the 90's when everyone was rockin' their dad's LeSabre

That car is sick. Cool build. I had a 2000 Pontiac GTP years back with a cam, pulley, etc… and that thing was a serious sleeper.

ZZP is still killing the game. Buying stuff from them, seeing the shop in person amazing memories. My cobaltSS back in the mid-2000s made the same power as this car. ZZP just constantly improved on platforms for cars most wouldn't, and it's why a lot of us on the cobaltss fourms back in the day loved seeing them post and interact with us.

The Pontiac Bonneville back in 88 with the 3800 was nothing to be messed with. It had its issues with the egr system, however, it always set you in your seat when you rodded on it.
