I dont get why people keep on comparing this game to the Arkham Batman games.
Sure they are in the same universe but they are completely different games.
Exactly like they are purposely blocking that information out of there mind
Arkham fans are the perfect example of DC fans who only want Batman related media and nothing else hence why he's the only one with games, has the most movies and TV shows, and has a billion different comic series going all at the same time. Even after everything they're still wanting more Batman Arkham games even though Kevin Conroy is dead, Mark Hamill will never play The Joker again due to Kevin's death, and that Rocksteady wants to move on and do other characters rn. Was the Suicide Squad the best choice of characters to go with right after Batman? No definitely not but that doesn't make the game automatically bad.
@angelothompson186 Suicide Squad takes place in the Arkhamverse. The last Arkham games were innovative and immersive Action Adventure games. It shouldn't be a surprise that people are upset because it went from that to yet another looter shooter live-service RPG with battle passes. A lot of us have already learned from past experiences. And we already know that live-services are part of WB's plan going forward to increase monetization.
The average person isn't that bright apparently.

I really don’t understand what is so bad about game having live service, I would love it if this game got consistent updates or dlcs after launch more content more characters, the battle pass is just cosmetic, that won’t make the game pay to win. I’m so hyped can’t wait to play ❤
Anthem and Avengers had the same concept. They both released unfinished and died early with promises about future content broken. There are many other live-services that ended up in the exact same situation.
Destiny 2 is a successful live service game, Fortnite is a successful live service game, The Division 2 as well. The devs have plans for post game content. The base game looks great we just have to hope they can keep up the content.

I find it crazy how haters watch 3 seconds of every suicide squad explanation vid, complain, get suprised that the game actually has a good system and then they still have to pretend they dont like the game. So they come up with excuses like: "Im only buying the game for Kevin" or "Im only going to play the campaign".

Got the pre orderd done , i dont care what people say i am hyped now. I just hope my brain has the patience to farm the game to this part. Deadshot kinda gives me a remnant 2 gameplay vibe.

@@josephdent6825 The problem is that if it's bad, companies will have more of an excuse to make more. All they have to do is attach a famous license to the next game and the cycle will continue. That's how we got this game even after the failure of Avengers and other live-service games.
Personally for dlc, my list of wanted characters is :
1. Deathstroke
2. Peacemaker (helmets could be fun)
3. Killer croc (full Melle)
Other possibilities:
Bloodsport, black manta, and any ice villain.
I would love a killer frost playable char or captain cold as range.

I saw Dr Lupo'a Boomerang and some Harley from the Rocksteady rep on TikTok. Harley looks so fun when you get her down, her traversal looked so much better than the others.
If I wasn't sold before, I am now.
Can’t wait to play this game. I preordered the deluxe edition and I’m ready for it. Can’t wait for the future dlc as well, hopefully we get some characters from the movies, and maybe even someone like red hood.

I think nearly all the missions we’ve seen have been the exact same just kill loads of aliens for certain amount of time or certain amount of waves. The gameplay looks good but u can’t deny the formula looks boring or at least repetitive

One thing you and others should think about is that this also takes place in metropolis literally tye complete opposite of gotham. Environmental and atmosphere.
That is probably the reason for the graphics downgrade, since Gotham is mostly dark, you can detail the effects you do see, but since you see a lot at a time with metropolis, they can not detail a lot

Even though this game has been in the middle for everyone, after having played the closed alpha tech test and countless other looter shooters like destiny, borderlands, and the division. I see myself putting countless hours in the game even after I am finished with the story. I cant wait for this game it looks miles better than the boring slugfest that was Marvel Avengers. I am not a Rocksteady shill either i just have faith in them to still deliver the quality that the company is known for. Also quick question Caboose do you know if we use the social squad feature do we just keep our gear and weapons that we copy over or does the level aslo increase aa well?

I’m so excited for this game idc, dead shot seems so much more powerful than the other squad members, like his range is really good and his movement is so much easier to find angles on enemies
Now i must admit this doesnt look bad its quite the opposite and i must admit when the leaks came out and i saw what they were gonna do i lost it for this game but i doubt it will happen like the leaks say and ive started to get optimistic for this game again no matter what they do it will be a huge treat hearing kevin conroys voice coming out of batman one final time and the league looks amazing the designs look fabulous and the gameplay look fast and fun and i do agree about what caboose said about the sensory overload so i hope we can change that and yeah thats all i have to say

Does anyone get bothered about the fact that the Arkham games had a serious tone and didn’t have stupid effects all over the screen while suicide squad is meant to be a continuation from the Arkham games but has a cartoony tone with stupid effects and flying damage numbers and does not have a serious tone which is really putting me off this game

Suicide Squad has never been serious team or characters. The theme is lore accurate. The Arkhamverse was only serious because it was based around Batman only
@@DESTY-N7dude, he gave an honest review of the game. He clearly stated things he liked and disliked, so he's not paid. If he was, it would ignore all the bad things, but he doesn't. Just because he's sponsoed doesn't mean crap!

It’s definitely not unlikely. I can totally see them put out skins from different elseworlds. The possibilities are endless. Let me give you an example ..
There could be skins and storylines with a Dcau inspired world or even the movies from back then before James Gunn. There could also be a world where we fight the sinister syndicate it’s all possible. Is it gonna happen maybe not but if it does happen it would be hype asf.
I hope we got all the arkham skins used in other games by thoose characters

Idk how to put it but the Deadshot classic suit variant they put in the dlc for lego batman 3 is tough
I agree that HUD is such a mess!! They have so much space on the edges and they aren't organized well. This definitely needs some work
The Ui personally dont bother me too much, I spent way too much time in borderlands and such so its not that bad lol. HOWEVER, its good you can change the Ui. Idk if you can change the size of text such as the dmg numbers instead of turning them completely off, but I would like that if so. Through out the streams, i checked each point of view and it was like people were HARD bashing the game in shrouds chat, Lupos was more positive but still slightly toxic to the game and Lupo was loving it, and Tarik was a lil similar to Lupos. I genuinely feel people are just hating to hate it, no matter what it does.
Game looks fun tho, interesting to watch, but it looks like one of those games where watching someone else play it doesn't really do it justice

I find that when I watch ppl play games I notice the hud a lot more but when I play I barely notice it so I think I’ll keep everything on. Plus as a looter game enthusiast damage numbers are everything to me lol

I respect everyone’s opinion on the sensory overload. Personally I don’t think it’s sensory OVERLOAD. Just focus on the map(to see enemies around you) and shoot them. I never felt overwhelmed when I played cause I didn’t focus on half the stuff on the screen.
This may look fun, but its going to be tough to justify the price for me as well as three other friends when there are better FTP options for the same experience out there.
You can buy *every* Borderlands game on PC for cheaper than the standard edition of Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League
there are some things im gonna turn off with the hud but cmon. this is a looter rpg you got to have that info when proccing skills and effects otherwise how do you know certain interactions and synergies work?

A character like mr freese, or Captain cold or killer frost with frozon style traversal would be absolutely sick... there's a lot they can do if they do it right

I’d turn of the damage numbers off as well but I’m big on information. I wanna see specifically what I’m doing to the enemy. I don’t think I’d get too much sensory overload tho, just have to wait and see.

Yeah I definetly see why the sensory overload would be a problem for some people. The way the damage numbers pop up looks almost exactly like how they pop up in anthem 😂. Not that the game is nearly the same but I thought it was funny that the effects seem similar in a way. I’m super excited to play this game.

Something some people don’t seem to get is that yes, this is in the Arkham verse, but this is NOT a Arkham game. So stop complaining, I’m pretty sure everyone figured out this wouldn’t be like the Batman Arkham games when the first trailer came out 3 years ago.

This reminds me of those Hive missions from Enix Avengers. Little bit repetitive but we'll have to wait and see cause with the hives they lead up to a hive where if you got downed you couldn't use that avenger and would reset you I think. Wonder what these missions lead up to in this game?
