    Very helpful! Thanks Mr. Olivier
    I got my Twingo from the first owner with the problem of easy starting and after it will die, so I need to put more gas. It is very difficult to drive in a traffic and inclined road, stop and park. But after I changed all the gasket, easy starting and no worried that it will die, very smooth driving.
    I hope you make your next video in replacing the timing belt. Again thank you.

      Hello Rodney, I'm glad this tutorial helped you. Regarding the timing belt job, there are a lot of videos specific to this D4F engine of yours. Even if these videos are non English speaking ones, they are still understandable. In the mean time you can maybe watched a tutorial I've made on an E7J Renault engine. ruclips.net/video/SvhGaECdNI4/видео.html The major difference between the two engines is the tensionner pulley setting. The D4F engine has a "self tension adjustment".

    Hello again!
    I just wrote a couple of minutes on your other video that is in french.
    Thank you again for the video!
    Did changing the part at 12:30 (wedge sealant or how's it called) got rid of the oil leak in the ECU?

      Hi George,
      First of all, let me say that your French is amazing!
      The "wedge seal" is enough but as an extra cheap insurance, I did some small modifications as show in this video. (see below)
      ruclips.net/video/0IDRUmLgS1E/видео.html
      Since then I did 10.000 Km ( more or less 6000 miles) and the upper side of the valve cover is still dry bone.
      By the way this car passed successfully the French equivalent MOT this week ;)
      It wouldn't if it was still spewing oil like before.

    Since your explenation is better then renault Clio official repair manual can you please tell me is there any PCV valve on this engine?

      Hello,
      As far as I remember, I didn't see any.
      All I can tell is that there is a connection / hole between the valves cover and the intake manifold.

    is there any way to change the ECU sealant without all this job?

    • @olipirard
      @olipirard  3 года назад

      Hello Mohamed,
      Unfortunately in a Twingo, there is not room enough between the firewall and the ECU to fit a suitable Torx screwdriver.
      But in an other car there is maybe a chance.
      Good luck.

      Hi,
      thank you very much, which oil this car take? is 10w40 enough or 05w40?. Is the clio III a good reliable car?

    • @olipirard
      @olipirard  3 года назад

      @@montgomeryha4921 Hello Mohamed, both type of oils fit for this engine.
      I would use 0W40 if you are in a cold country and 10W40 if you live in a temperate country.
      Kind regards

      @M. Arhaly Yes. This kind of connectors are a bit tricky to remove.
      Use a small screwdriver or a needle of sort to pry the metal clip out.
      It will be the same thing for the injectors connectors.
      I hope it helped.
      Regards.
