I just tried this dish as a Valentines surprise.....It was phenomenal!!! Dropped in a blend with some Cabernet franc on the back end. Many many thanks for imparting your considerable culinary expertise to elevate an amateur cook to attempt a dish which would appear out of reach. Your generosity in sharing tour culinary skills is outstanding.... many many thanks........
I don't like this song in the background. Until I played it on my headphones! There is a great dynamics of sound :) now I like it. And the recipe as well :)
I'm going to give this recipe a shot this weekend. This is my go-to channel. I really appreciate you demonstrating everything so clearly, even in the written out recipe. Thank you
I've always liked cooking But since i discovered this channel (yesterday), i feel like i wanna cook more & try fancy recipes like you do. This made me buy today 2 pcs of osso bucco. Next weekend i'll cook them and after those, i will definitely try one of your chicken recipes Omg i feel hungry now 😑
This was really easy to followed. Very tasty. I tried one before with rosemary as recommended in the recipe and it was too over powering. My first time lighting alcohol. Thank you.
This is on the cards for the week-end. A good excuse to use wine in cooking. The food gets some too. I have found myself now whistling that quirky little tune when I am cooking your recipes.
Hello sir instead of wine can you please tell me the substitute for that. An early reply will be highly appreciated and obliged because I want to make it now. thank you.
@@recipe30 thank you so much for a prompt response. no no Sir you misunderstood in this recipe you use wine this same method instead of wine what can I use. I want to make it exactly your way but not wine so what do I do. The other recipe you are saying is most welcome because all your recipes are yummy. How is Whiskey I just love to see his expressions standing outside the kitchen because my 🐕 also does the same thing when I am in the kitchen cooking. 😊
@@behrozemehta I understood your question, but this is a red wine recipe. The whole basis of the recipe is the flavour of the wine. To replace it with a substitute would make a different recipe. If you still want to proceed, try this: ruclips.net/video/M_XnGYDpFLU/видео.html
Hi chef 👨🍳 this recipe look amazing and so delicious 😋 I will be cooking this for the holidays coming thank you for sharing I love all your cooking and l’ensemble of your videos 👨🍳👏👏🍷🍷🥇SALUTE .
@@recipe30 Well now, I think I must do some experimenting. I made cherries jubilee once, but couldn't get the brandy to light. So I just got some Diesel grain alcohol. That did the trick. Thanks for your response.
All my life I have been making this dish mines bacons and wine and calling it beef stew 🤷🏼♀️now I will add wine and call it fancy French name 😃by the way I bought 2 big box of white and red wine just for your recipes 👍
Use Burgundy wine or default a red wine from Pinot Noir grape or Chardonay. Put good big carrot cut in large dice.More Burgundy meat must marinate in the wine the day before otherwise it looks good.
Chef, I always watch your recipes and I love it. the way you make it and perfect however for those who do not consume alcohol( forbidden for Muslim community ), what can they add instead ?
OMG this looks & I know for a fact taste Delicious. Chef seriously with all these yummy dishes you are cooking. Honestly I can feel my pants getting tighter. Lol. Thank You for the Delicious Meals

@Madden Karter I use flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
Recipe looks great but what is the reason for two pans? Why not just sear the beef and onions in the dutch oven as well? Thanks

Why do you add red wine in most of your dishe, what that add to the flavour? What is the alternative?
A delicacy. I had already enjoyed this recipe without the baking step, but I love your process. Thanks, it looks exquisite. 👍🏻😋
Thanks Patricia, it does intensify the flavours. 😃

Once the wine boils, it flambés very easily.

See here: www.recipe30.com/wine-substitutes.html/
Did it yesterday with ox meat (it's called ox the castrated one? Anyway, that one...) and it came out delicious
Thanks for sharing 😀
I've cooked at least 10 if your chicken recipes, now it's time to try a beef recipe.
Beef is becoming less and less popular. Enjoy it Tony! 👍👍
I'm making this today,oh and by the way the garlic mashed potatoes were amazing

Hi Joel, I would like to try this recipe. May I cook it in a slow cooker instead of an oven? Which method renders better flavour? Thanks.
Sure it will still work nicely, oven is just a bit better.
Ha ha, perfect timing, cheers Melanie!
👏🏻👏🏻bravo ravia from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
👨🍳👍Ya Man, I loved.
Wow! Looks Perfect!
Adding shallots rather than pearl onions is an excellent idea. No one likes peeling them and frozen peal onions aren’t available everywhere.
Wow!! Absolutely love it!!
you are amazing! thanks for your recipes!
Love from India 😋😋😋😍😍😍
Love back, India! I'll see you one day.
Chef Joel you’re much braver than I am when lightning your flambé! I use those 12” long Fireplace Matches!!! 😳🙄👵🏻

Garlic should be added when onions are ready, then you add your tomato paste for 3 minutes to get body. The rest is good.
Perfect combination! 🥗😋
Thanks, enjoy!
Everything is delicious, 😋😋😋I see a recipe and I say! ready,. I'm going to do it but I always need one ingredient. white wine or wine. Red,.😏
