I know you did this years ago, but if you could upload the song about Jessie Bishop (Ballad of the Severn Valley.. I think) you would absolutely make my say. My Dad bought this album and used to play it on our new 'Stereo' player and it was amazing hearing the trains go from one side of the room to the other! I'm now 55 and have taught my Son the song on guitar, but he has never heard the original..
What are these lyrics? "Through ???, cross the old canal, see the barges lying still; it's a ??? town, and you're right on time; then a hundred and fifty grade, we'll climb; on the old ??? hill"
This album was part of my childhood.
I love the SVR now I found this it sounds lovely and your video clips look fabulous
I wish I could listen to the other songs from that album.
Thank you for sharing this. Really enjoyed it. Had seen the album for sale occasionally but didn't know what to expect.
Thanks Paul!
