I sure like these types of videos. Love seeing local customers being served, good info in here too! Thanks much John! Have yourself a wonderful Tuesday! (Dave).
I still love to see after all the improvements in utica and after taking out all the old stuff and replacing it with new stuff (ex: Wynn Hosptiol) the old west shore spurs and NYO&W/DL&W lines are still in use, great work, keep it up!
Nice catch on the SCI Plywood switch! I think that’s the only industry on the New York Mills and New Hartford industrial tracks you hadn’t got video of switching yet.
Love to see the rails being used. Even in Rome, they are. I can hear the horns of at least 3 different engines at different times. And they move tank cars on the old air base. Most I've counted was 10, all lined up. Maybe for the olive oil company? Thanks for the video!
@@trenamerritt5344 Probably so. I think it's only used within the confines of the air base. Not sure what "OHSWA" stands for though. Couldn't find anything on it.

That’s correct, first time I videoed that move.
Great video as always! In the beginning to this one,you should've played "steel men" by jimmy dean! That would have fit right in on this one!

@trenamerritt5344 A good friend of mine used to be a conductor on the air base train. I was wondering if it's still going.
@woodstocker1969 They still use a blue engine with OHSWA on it on those rails. Maybe for moving rail cars if a need?
