Bloody cracking video, bloody cracking scenery!! Love your tight lane runs and those really tight bridges, keep up the good work Scott and keep safe! 😀
I’ve been driving LGVs for 20 years but watching you navigate through them lanes you give me confidence to go through tight roads you are an inspiration to all us drivers
Never heard it called birdlip hill before, only ever known it as air balloon. You learn something every day. Great videos, love how you dont get stressed on them rural roads 👍
My neck of the woods again :) You headed the way I go if going to Stroud. A Brum car but red made me smile as it takes me back to when I was a kid lol #MoreScott #LoadsMoreScott
Used to drive tippers delivering soil, went to this real upper crust suburb and was told by the lady of the house that I needed to go down the street and come in the second driveway so I got to this hopelessly overgrown drive and thought I would just take a walk up it to check the access, I found a tree growing in the middle of the drive so told the lady that I could not deliver in there and she said that trucks had delivered there before and I asked was that before the tree grew then, she basically called me a liar so I said see for yourself, she soon backed down, happy days.
Two videos in a row where you're local to me! This one not as stressful as last time where I was watching you getting closer and closer to Winchcombe and desperately hoping you'd spot the alternative truck route turning at the bottom of the hill! I think you'd still be there if you'd gone straight on. That weight limit at Birdlip is just for the first turning to stop people parking up for the night at the viewpoint. Fully loaded in a 440 XF is 8mph up the hill.
Oh my god I'm a great fan of Scott! Switched off as soon as you said it, don't want to get hooked do I? Anyway SEEN YOU today, well it looked like your truck anyhow J30 M1 heading north with pallets on at 11.18am. Every time I watch one of your videos conquering the narrow lanes of the British rural landscape my respect for your driving grows exponentially. Well done young fella. Another great entertaining video Scott. All the best.
Been driving an 18T for fecking years,up roads like yourself. Bloody sheep farm deliveries are the worst and house calls up tiny lanes. After watching you over the past 6 months I've decided to get my trailer license b4 I completely quit driving altogether and see do I like it.Keep up the good work Scott.Stay safe.
Love the Vlog, Scott. And Loved that little pub by that bridge & so nice to see a red phone box again. Also your horn is a proper truck horn, some sound like a fiat 500.. :-)
Thank you Scott another video enjoyed. You do like the country lanes. You should be saying This is Tight. ( as Luke says 😂😂). Thanks again. Looking forward to your next one Take care and stay safe and safe trucking. John. Whitehouse.
Damn dude they're some arse clenching tracks they're sending you down these days. Another great entertaining vid mate. I passed my Class 2 on Friday but now you got me scared lol!
Great driving and the point at which you promote the book etc eg at the end of the video etc so at leasf a person can watch most of the video before seeing the compulsary promotion of book in every video lol which is much better than at the front of the video because as soon asi see luke c s videos and the video starts with him in his office etc i think here we go more promotion of a book i dont need and have no intention of buying etc which means i cant even click on loke c s videos without first seeing book promotion etc but at least with yours i can
The last tip behind Caerleon was on our club run route (Cardiff Ajax Cycling Club) from Cardiff towards Monmouth. Brought back great memories of those times, the A449 had been open about 3 years then. We often raced on the A449 from Usk through the tunnels at Monmouth and back again..25 miles time trial. Usually early (6am) on a Sunday morning.
I had a farm about half a mile up from the polo club about this time last year, that road through whiteway towards Edgeworth is a bit arse clenching first time around!
Thanks for another great upload. Hope your doing well and keeping safe. Why does technology seem to give you crappy directions when you need them most it’s annoying. Hope all is well.
Hi Scott, went along same road from Edgeworth to Birdlip in a car 3 weeks ago and that was bad enough. Saw the same combine in field, wondered why leave a new combine there. Somebody will have batteries off it!! and we all know who
Hi Scot I'm only a part time HGV driver, because I'm a full time Carer for my mum that has dementia. My S7000 snooper truck mate is becoming obsolete, and am asking if this latest Tom Tom you showed informs you of road closures????at night time. Please advise. And safe journeys:)
Gr8 vlog as always scottyboy couple of bum clenching moments camera angle makes it look narrower than it actually is,but as I've said before there are drivers and DRIVERS. 👍cymru am byth 🏴
Wouldn't be a scott video if it was just main roads all the way . A fellow driver commented the other day " unsuitable for HGV ? we'll see about that". Could be a new # !
Scott what the hell are they doing sending you there. I often think about leaving the coop. But when i see videos like this. Im like hmm maybe it aint so bad. Hahaha nice driving though mate.
How can you be so sure you have the right vehicle going to a Polo Club?!? You have Equestrian Polo and you have Water Polo! Haha Fence posts for shark nets?
i pay YT-Premium to stream my music (*).....alas, it appears that this also gives me ad-less Scotty vlogs...meaning, I would gladly pay C$25/mo, even if I didn't want to listen to my music (*) = the "zero to 1800" type.
If you had the scania going up birdlip you would have created the hill at 40. The MAN might have higher power figure but they are lacking in torque which is what matters. Sorry.
You seem to do more than your fair share of crappy drops Scott . I bet the locals make you welcome with the two fingers wave . You have a better temperament than me ? It would have taken me hours to edit the cursing out of that journey .
Dead right ! I’d like to see Ned Kelly getting into some of Scott’s tight spots , between him and billy and Moe there would be some interesting language , haven’t seen old Ned for while , C Taylor.
this comment is a comment on how discustingly dirty the truck is!! let's put it this way I seen cars in worse condition!! to the point you would think you were blind trying to read their number plates at 2 feet!! saying that had a blind driver behind me yesterday, he couldn't see my r-send until he was 3-4 feet away, so close I couldn't see his headlights in my rear view mirror, then he was so blinded by my car lights that he couldn't see the road so swerving like a formula 1 car on a warm up lap, so I slowed the pace for the green light!! lol
The guy who reverses at 34:33 was like nope not risking a scrape on my vintage 😂
Bloody cracking video, bloody cracking scenery!! Love your tight lane runs and those really tight bridges, keep up the good work Scott and keep safe! 😀
Bloody marvelous video scott good thing you turned around dont want to go up cats arse road again. Thank you young man.
I’ve been driving LGVs for 20 years but watching you navigate through them lanes you give me confidence to go through tight roads you are an inspiration to all us drivers
We are great fans of Scott.
Bloody Mamils (middle aged men in lycra) everywhere. Another good video thanks Scott

Hey mate another good one, love the content you got me starting it now!
Great vlog Scott, certainly more scenic than motorways. More cyclists than cars, that's unusual!! Stay safe and keep vlogging.
Great video, awesome skills on those super tight roads.
Love the Vlog, Scott. And Loved that little pub by that bridge & so nice to see a red phone box again. Also your horn is a proper truck horn, some sound like a fiat 500.. :-)

Congrats on hitting 20k mate!
As someone who has driven an artic around stroud for a few years and has delivered to that polo club, I can confirm stroud is best avoided 😂
Good video this one chap..Hi from the isle of man..
Scott is the MAN, sorry Scott in a M.A.N.
Great vlog, thanks for sharing.
Saw you on the M42 last week fella, was driving a black 7.5 tonne recovery truck if you spotted me
Great video again Scott well done, studying for my mod 2 cpc at the moment, stay safe and see you on the next one😊
Hi Scott, went along same road from Edgeworth to Birdlip in a car 3 weeks ago and that was bad enough. Saw the same combine in field, wondered why leave a new combine there. Somebody will have batteries off it!! and we all know who
I am new to the channel Wooo Sir Hats off to you Sir fantastic driving . Stay safe and god bless your travels

What was the song that u played when you were unloading the fence posts? quite like it . Great video you do
The Sloan Rangers in there 4+4s are scared to go on the grass....might get it dirty ! And they never seem to have reverse gears . C Taylor.
In Oz we call them Toorak Tractors after the overpriced stuck up Melbourne suburb where these vehicles are found on mass.
Can horses transport themselves mmmm? I think they can by walking 😂😂😂😂 great vlog as usual Scott.
They do need transporting if they are stabled in Gloucestershire and the match is in Windsor 😂
Gr8 vlog as always scottyboy couple of bum clenching moments camera angle makes it look narrower than it actually is,but as I've said before there are drivers and DRIVERS. 👍cymru am byth 🏴
Scott tat fix with the glove i call running repairs
19:12 trying to talk to the missus
Scot, here Canada's north we only let moose on trails that narrow.
Welcome to trucking in the UK...
That narrow road sounded painful
#MORESCOTT would love to check your pulse rate when down them lanes 😂
@ john limb....knowing Scott, his pulse rate is likely lower down them lanes than in more "civilized" areas; at least that's the way I am ;-)
Ha! I looked away as you said "cyclist" and then I heard the thud! Omg then you said "my water just fell" haha
The film when Scott’s water broke
What happens if you go over your driving time Scotty
Wouldn't be a scott video if it was just main roads all the way . A fellow driver commented the other day " unsuitable for HGV ? we'll see about that". Could be a new # !
I could have been a farmer. If I was a farmer 😂😂
Wrap that leaking cap in plumbers tape a good 14 times and it will stop leaking
do a triky drive
Scott what the hell are they doing sending you there. I often think about leaving the coop. But when i see videos like this. Im like hmm maybe it aint so bad. Hahaha nice driving though mate.
First great video Scott
How can you be so sure you have the right vehicle going to a Polo Club?!? You have Equestrian Polo and you have Water Polo! Haha Fence posts for shark nets?
FINALLY!
Adverts killed it. Never seen so many
i pay YT-Premium to stream my music (*).....alas, it appears that this also gives me ad-less Scotty vlogs...meaning, I would gladly pay C$25/mo, even if I didn't want to listen to my music
(*) = the "zero to 1800" type.
Anybody know what that Volvo was doing with the fog lights blinking like that
probably LEDs. They blink when watching back on cameras
Great job Scott but give it 20 plus years mate you would of had a gut full of it mate lol
Sorts the men from boys around there Scott
When you're talking rather see the views ,then you talking 🛣🛣🛣📽📽
Bet they've had bigger in both drops!!!!!
#morescott
Where r u from mate
I'm going to guess Port Talbot. +/-10miles 😂
Edit: second guess, Briton Ferry
#thumbsup
you need a Luke its a bit tight voice over
9 thumbs down from the nervous people who live near the bridge 😂
I could live in a toyota aygo lol
If you had the scania going up birdlip you would have created the hill at 40. The MAN might have higher power figure but they are lacking in torque which is what matters. Sorry.
Not mine, 2,900Nm of torque!
Scott Andrews ah okay. Significantly moved on then from the earlier TGX and the older TGS. They bragged big power but had no torque to back it up.
Blimey what well behaved cyclists in Gloucestershire 👍👍
Them roads aren't half tight man.
How do you tell a welshman not to do accents...it's our natural nature
You seem to do more than your fair share of crappy drops Scott . I bet the locals make you welcome with the two fingers wave . You have a better temperament than me ? It would have taken me hours to edit the cursing out of that journey .
Dead right ! I’d like to see Ned Kelly getting into some of Scott’s tight spots , between him and billy and Moe there would be some interesting language , haven’t seen old Ned for while , C Taylor.
11 adverts in the last video and 9 in this one 👎🏻. Don’t mind a few but that’s to many
this comment is a comment on how discustingly dirty the truck is!! let's put it this way I seen cars in worse condition!! to the point you would think you were blind trying to read their number plates at 2 feet!! saying that had a blind driver behind me yesterday, he couldn't see my r-send until he was 3-4 feet away, so close I couldn't see his headlights in my rear view mirror, then he was so blinded by my car lights that he couldn't see the road so swerving like a formula 1 car on a warm up lap, so I slowed the pace for the green light!! lol
10 adverts in this video Scott? Became unwatchable every few mins advert..

Can so
