They found Alex and when they were seeing him practice with them as a group, he nailed their songs and had little fills/additions and they liked it so when they started writing some new material and Alex was putting in his drum parts it was rewarding to them because it didn't feel like it was the same beats all over again, it felt like drums were their own entity as opposed to just 'being there'

I've never been more jealous of another person in my life lol, just absolutely insane skill! He seems so chill while doing it too.
His technique is so efficient and precise. Hardly any excessive movement or wasted energy, if at all. Dude is literally the T-1000 of drummers.
