I love it here. The view from the top of the booster is brilliant and there's a good amount of airtime if you're facing the town. The less said about the Pinfari the better lol. I feel like the ghost train could be much better though.

Thank you, appreciate the feedback! It has taken so much driving to do these parks, but it was worth it and I think we'll be doing more of this in the future too.
I think these many coastal parks is how Shaun Sandbrooke reached a thousand credits.

Absolutely, it was a lot of fun really.
Always interesting to us locals to see what visitors to Brighton make of the Palace Pier, pleased to see you were not overly gushing about the ride offering as it is not the greatest, but the booster views were brilliant. We think Blackpool is a whole lot more fun than Brighton with much more for all the family but I bet Brighton tourism bosses cringed at any comparison. Really enjoying your tour, hope to see some snippets if Southend if not a full review.
I enjoyed it, but they need to upgrade their ride offering I think. The spinning coaster looks in terrible condition, a paint job would do it a world of good. Turbo is horrendous and I feel like they could easily replace it.
It’s not bad for what it is to be fair, it’s on a par with a lot of similar places, I do wish they’d move on from the same rides everywhere though at times (been on three of those mouse coasters in a week!)

Brighton should get more visitors if they didn't have a pinfari. Also it's good to see the beach not too busy!
Honestly it was so, so busy in Brighton. I think that bit of the beach was the only bit where people had room to move.
I do wonder if it’s time to move it on and put something newer in it’s place

A week ago today I was on the wild mouse at that fairground on the outskirts of Blackpool, and I have to say it’s the most forceful and intense spinning madness I’ve been on to date😎

No it was not. It was bought direct from Fabbri.
I am not sure, they look like the temporary arms BPB had for Spin Doctor August 2002-November 2002, but it has never been confirmed if the one at Brighton is from BPB.
@@yourexperienceguide I previously worked here. The Booster and Air Diver/Super Booster were installed as new purchases direct from Fabbri Factory. I got to ride the Air Diver on the day they finshed installing the main parts. Sadly the Air Diver was removed due to movement issues, reliability and previous incidents with other models. The rubbish ghost train was a replacement for the Air Diver paid for by Fabbri which replaced a very old vintage ghost train that was good but sadly beyond repair.

Interested to know how you log your credits, do you take a photo of the ride etc? Also how do you keep track of for example crazy mouse coasters that travel round the country eg knowing which ones you've done and which you havent? Great content as always!
I use coaster count, Scott has a spreadsheet. Generally we only log the ones that tend to remain static or just move once a year for Winter Wonderlands
@@Mikeb1001 do you count water coasters like Escape From Atlantis Mike? They're credits AFAIK.
Edit: Journey To Atlantis I mean. Escape From Atlantis is at Gardaland and that might be a credit too looking at the pictures

Is there a reason you didn't goto Littlehampton on the way to Brighton from Portsmouth? I havent been there since a kid but im sure its still going.
cotch85 We were very pushed for time by the time we got to Brighton
@@yourexperienceguide That's a shame seeing as theyre pretty close together. But yeah doing Portsmouth, Hayling and Brighton is 1 day is good going especially in that weather and everyone flocking to the beach.
Going on that Boosters on the egde of the pier, mid air over the sun takes some guts. I wouldn't dare attempt that.

Mike Butt Definitely looks like it Mike although I remember one that came to a local funfair that sent us through complete darkness (no theming) and out the other side. That one was quite something too 😅

Hi were you at blackpool Pleasure beach on the 15th of August 2020 (day before national roller Coaster day) because i saw you queuing up for the big one at around 9 pm and i sat in your seat as you got out lol i wanted to say hi but was too scared to 😭
Yeah we were there, and did the Big One a lot in the last hour. We hope you had a good day!

@@yourexperienceguide I've just done some research and apparently SF Great America has 16 coasters - their 17th is actually a Larsson Super Loop.
The good news? This means that if I don't get any more credits before next June's trip (high possiblity), my 100th credit will be ...Orion!
@@visionist7 I had no idea the Super Loop counted as a cred, but 100th coaster being Orion is a good thing definitely! Two weeks to go and it goes on sale, are you 100% decided about booking on? :)
@@yourexperienceguide I'm definitely 100% intentional yep. Got my deposit all ready and might even pay the whole trip off at once, although the unmentionable bug worries me. I think the deadline for full payment is March? I need to reread the email lol
@@visionist7 March I think, something like that. I'm in charge of organising but Becca is in charge of the financing side of it and is a million times better with numbers than me. We've booked everything with 'free cancellation', so with that and it still being ages away am confident it will all go as planned.

The whole place wasn't bothered, when we were there the beach was rammed shoulder to shoulder.
