Just a hour back I was asking Allah how much patience do I need to have to accept my situation without complaining and then this lecture came up "have patience with the decree of your Lord because you are in our care" and how many blessings of your Lord will you deny. May Allah make us Constantly patient and constantly grateful. Aameen
Relax.. Breathe a little even air is a blessing.. Don't loose hope coz after every hardship there are 2 blessing
If you suffer then try to imagine those who are suffering more, this will make you feel like your suffering is not so much, i did the same, when i suffer i just think about whats happening in Syria and Yemen and burma, my suffering is nothing compared to theirs, not even 1%.
Subhana Allah.. It happened to me once.. I was so angry and tearful, that I thought, it would be easier if the Prophet pbuh was amongst us.. I could just ask him pbuh, what shall I do?? Then as I was leaving for work, I picked up a book on hadeeth and randomly opened it.. And I read the hadeeth where a man asks the Prophet pbuh, plz advise me three times, and each time, the Prophet pbuh said, 'Do not be angry..'
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْ
I was listening to Sheikh Hamza Yusuf years ago and I’m listening to him now. Every time I‘m listening to him, he just have THE words of wisdom and consolation, the right reminder at the right time. Nothing ever disturbed or confused me from anything he said, and I believe I might have listened to most of the recording presented on youtube, such a blessing. I‘m so grateful for him to live among us, may Allah grant him a long life. May Allah bless Zaytuna College. May Allah bless you and your family dear Sheikh Hamza Yusuf!

Asalumacalaykum Brothers and Sisters. Ask Allah to Grant you Contentment what you have and whatever you will get. With out Contentment from Allah nothing is in peace. You will spend your entire life trying to accomplish something while your heart is not content.
You consume while you still fill empty. With out Contentment nothing works and not peace. My Allah Grant us Contentment. Amin.
Just Ask Allah and wait for it.

Now, there was a day- 1:13 Job, when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house. And a messenger came to Job, and I alone have escaped to tell you [*3:5]
[*3:6] is Revelation 4:6
And while he was still speaking ( not talking:), another also came and said : *23:12-15 // 2 Samuel 9:11
Job's 1:17 concern *58:3-4, and I alone have escaped to tell you ,the camels are not women for *98:1
Therefore Job's 1:18-19 is the book of Amos, and not [*77]

@@simplybuyer1 Ask yourself, could the universe have created itself? I'm sure you will say no because we know something cannot be brought into existence from nothing. Science says the universe had a beginning, but scientist have so many theories and none have been proven correct, science will always have doubt. But we agree with most of the scientific data which shows that the universe had a beginning. Now ask yourself, how could a universe be so well designed if there was no intelligent creator? Theres no way that a thinking person would say that this all was brought about by chance, the universe is so well designed that all of the planets in orbit around the sun are very specific distances away from one another; if they were off by a bit, the orbit would not be preserved. You should watch channels like EFDawah and SCDawah to see some evidences for God Inshallah you will find the truth

Ibn Ata Allah al Iskandari’s hikam whom you pertinently quoted said also that the encounter with a real spiritual guide who inherited the Light brought with him is one of the Almighty’s great favour. Benarkah jika manusia itu tidak menjaga/mengenal keimanan yang sebenar, kehidupan nya akan menjadi seperti manusia yang belum menjadi dewasa/matang. Walaupun hakikat sebenarnya manusia itu adakala nya sudah berumur dewasa, berkahwin, memiliki kerjaya, berharta, berilmu, ketua didalam sebuah negara, kehidupan harian nya dirinya sendiri yang menyibukkan/mgejar/mencari dengan sesuatu yang menjadikan kekurangan di pemikiran/hati serta naluri nya. Seperti manusia yang kegelisahan/gundar kehilangan/tidak mencukupi sesuatu.?
Gelisah merupakan ciri2 akan dipanggil kembali mendekat kepada tuhan. Beraktivitas seperti orang kebanyakan: bekerja, punya rumah, berkahwin, tidak bisa dijadikan indikasi lemahnya iman, kerana kita tak tahu (kecuali dia sendiri yg tahu) dia sedang bekerja untuk siapa: untuk syahwatnya sendiri atau untuk tuhan.
