I completely agree about the safety aspect, a few years ago I was standing on a level crossing waiting to get a good shot of a train as it came through. My wife yanked me out of the way just in time as the barrier came down without warning ! Always take the wife with you! 👍

Phew! Sounds like you had a lucky escape there...and yes, always good to have the wife around in my experience! 😂 Have a good week 🙂

Don't think I've ever done number one, but I don't necessarily agree with number one.
Recently, at my wife's nieces wedding, she had rules in place with no photos during the ceremony. But she came up to me and gave me permission to take photos. But the hired photographers had it throughly covered with several cameras on tripods and were taking photos remotely so they didn't disturb the ceremony. We were in the front row, and my wife was bugging me to take photos. But I decided if people noticed me, I would be taking away from the ceremony and didn't take any. So I absolutely agree it's not about me.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Weddings can certainly be a real minefield when it comes to working out the right thing to do. I'm happy that it sounds like you managed to navigate successfully! Have a great week. Ed 🙂

Another enjoyable outing Ed and some valid points made. Particularly in being a decent human being.
You also touched on my pet peeve……. taking photos to only get likes or attention from others.
    All the best
    Richard

Cheers Richard, glad you enjoyed it. I was just freestyling my thoughts while I was out and about so when I edited it all together I was worried I might sound rather preachy...I'm really happy at least some of it resonated with you. Thanks again, and have a great week. Ed 🙂

I’ve got this camera and it’s cracking!

Good to hear (assuming you mean cracking as in great....rather than crumbling😂). I'm really liking it so far! 🙂
