Ive seen the effects of weed w/my own eyes on ppl I love, and I hate it. It enrages me wen ppl say that marijuana doesnt affect you, its not addictive, if it affected sum1 negatively, thats jus them. Idk it may be tru for some ppl (everyone reacts to drugs differently, some are more high functioning than others) but that is beside the point. Ive seen too many young people who, because of weed addiction, cant maintain a job, cant take care of their children properly, cant maintain functional...
Marijuana: "Wolf in sheep's clothing". What people don't know is that they are as vulnerable to the wolf as Little Red Riding Hood walking through the woods. Some may never find out. Some have lost there minds. It's not just with Mary Jane she's only one of soldiers in this spiritual Warfare. Thank you Jackie Hill for this piece-

wow...is all i can say. i'm still getting chills. i need that shirt too man. i went through a period in my life for about a year and a half where i smoked weed EVERY day...can u imagine how much money that is? i had a job so i set aside money to pay for it cuz as much i didn't want to admit, i HAD to have it. ppl need to hear this. many cant grasp deep concepts because we have to dig deep and stay focused wen doing so, so they make sure we have many distractions. thats all controversy is. wen one cannot decide weather something is good or bad or they simply are in denial because of their own personal vices. meanwhile the majority "follow their gut feelings" or in other words do wat they feel like instead doin wat they know is the better choice. i loved it.

Woahhhhh! This blew my mind. I'm a pastors Grandaughter im 17 and in high school and surrounded with people/friends that smoke weed. Yet I've been tempted I never did it because I knew it was wrong because people choose it over him (like some "christians" I know.) because they don't think it's that bad. But we all know it is. But this totally backs me up for what I know. And I hope everyone shows this to anyone and everyone that you know smokes weed.

@californiarednek Yes you are right. Marijuana and Hemp are part of the same family and they have different THC levels. BUT the reason why she mentions it here is because, although they are different, there are a lot of people who still use the word hemp as representation of weed. It's a misconception but she is right when she says that weed is aka hemp because ppl think of it that way (although it's incorrect). I hear a lot of ppl call weed ,hemp.

thumbs up to rrobjchilds. that's what this poem is exactly about, in my head at least. people use weed to escape problems, but the fact of the reality is you cannot do that. she's clearly against weed. she's showing how the drug seems so happy and is fabricated as a cool thing to do, but in reality it's just a poisonous thing, mentally, morally. although controversial, this piece is very strong and her delivery is on point.
That is going to deliver folks...wowwwwwww. That is going to blow some highs....Mary Jane

"conjures my spirits and making its way into yours" = transferring of spirits and witchcraft
"amplifying the flesh making every sin you conceive more desirable" = sin is a physical action when our spirit man fails to fight it. In other words, sin is a spiritual battle.
You're right, it is a gateway drug to other drugs but also causes to gateway to more sin=spirit issue
