I am but an egg. But I can see hours on end just bunny hopping skipping around, and then flicking on flat ground to learn the dimensions of the bike and my body together. Then, add one rock, one small rock, and dance with it! Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Thank you!
Great skills looks like you got 90 ° there steve you have way better skills than you think chris is on another level , i am going to go try this i run clipless and have trouble unclipping my outside foot must have to concentrate on weighing both feet together , Think this is a great skill if you can get it controlled look forward to more tips with chris vids .😊
I know I've already given you guys this feedback, but here it comes again! I am NOWHERE NEAR the skill level of EMBN or GMBN presenters. It would far more helpful to riders like me to see a blue trail rider learn these techniques.
Thanks for the feedback on this. This is quite an advanced skill to master but one that intermediate riders can still have a lot of fun with! What basic skills videos would you like to see in the future?
@@embn My current "can't master it" is tight hairpins (not flick tight!) on rutty terrain. I'm so focused on the ruts bouncing me around that I can't complete the turn. Your expert riders make it look so easy that it's actually frustrating to watch for the intermediate rider!
Steve, when you're in the presence of Sir. Akrigg, you should be either, below his majesty or on one knee, you should also avoid eye contact with his grace to make sure you don't offend his royal highness. Please be more respectful.
Have you ever tried Flick Turns? If not are they on your list to learn?
It wasn't not but I have to learn it after seeing this 😊

Adding to my practice sessions...great skill to add.
We seriously need more of Chris Akrigg's anti-gravitational magic on EMBN !
Hats off to you Steve, for showing us just how difficult things can be, by trying it yourself, instead of letting Chris show how it's done.
Great video. I can't wait to try this. Thanks for adding another technique to learn!
Flick turn, one more in the bag!! Btw can't find any info about power turns, would you give us that video 🤙
Excellent skill

What about the suspension setup?
Power turns look way cooler! 😎
these can look really cool if done well, that one Chris does with all the roost was 🙌, both look and feel amazing!
That is so cool! But I want to see you doing it with a turbo kenevo expert, as this is my bike. Then I'll know it's possible, and I will train hard ;)
my new mantra - i think i did one !!!
Chris numero uno 💪💪💪
That was really good. One more thing for me to work on. 🙄👊😂
Great 🤓
Chris takes his pedal kick totally for granted. For beginners like me (been a trials beginner for 32 years), it feels alien
Looked excellent to me...
4:30 before you even start on technique. Then what is the difference of this and a bunny hop? Its the same.
Yes

How the hell does the back wheel leave the ground? Clips? I don't understand this physics defying move.
Why not just say it's a bunny hop with enough body English to rotate?

poor steve 23yrs older and over 20kg more weight than Chris bet that don't Help
If riding flats practicing this wear shin pads unless you like halloween shins - that's talking from painful experience!
do we really need 10 minutes of analysis on how to do a bunny hop?
A bunny's with a flick turn 🤙
Yes, you do.
