The Hollow Places and The Twisted Ones by T. Kingfisher are actually really really scary. And the scary things that happen in these books are not caused by anything that can easily be explained... You just have to read them. I was literally at the edge of my seat screaming at the main character to run for their life. Really creepy books. Anyways, thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these videos!! All of them absolutely enjoyable and cozy

Katie, I thought you should know that while I was selling some of my books at a used bookstore the other day I came across mass market paperback copies of Twilight and New Moon (the original covers!) and I picked them both up because they were so adorable and only like $3 each, so I could not pass them up! I think they were international editions? It said that on the back and I have never seen those editions before! I also bought a first edition hardcover copy of Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead! I always seem to pick up the vampire books in there because last time I bought Crave haha. I love your videos!

Hey Katie! Nettle and Bone is my favorite Kingfisher, but I get what you mean. Her writing is so good, but I personally don't think she manages to keep a steady pace through her books and most of all, she wants to mix tones that don't always blend well... I just read What moves the dead, and it made me question whether I should stop reading her books, because it felt frustrating.
