You know what, I kind of find it refreshing that you are now including the sounds made from making kits the way you do, so we can enjoy the full experience. Cheers.
I love that you now include your "work noise" in your video. I really find it relaxing somehow. I'm not super in to the color of this build but it'll look good nonetheless bc your builds always look good. Looking forward to the rest of the build. :)
$25 AMT kit, no flash and great panel lines, completely detailed. $160 resin kit, spend two hours trimming flash, scribing lines, fix mold errors, no bottom detail, no engine,,,
Great work as usual but I'm not sure that green does the car's body any justice. To each their own of course just like the on the fence look of the Lusso in the first place (I personally prefer it compared to the FF).
Digging it man. I have a question.. In between coats of paint and/or clear, do you just leave the paint in the airbrush while it flashes, or do you dump and clean the brush before every spray/coat?
Happy New Year Tom, in regards to your engraving blade.....I did make one as per your video using a mechanical pencil. Do you prefer the Tamiya engraving blade as opposed to the mechanical pencil one you showed on a previous video? I'm on the fence on buying the Tamiya blade & tool but I made 5 or 6 of these blades with mechanical pencils already. I'm curious of your thoughts on this.....thanks, Chris.
The pencil does not remove as much material, more so just moves it to the side. The engraving blade scrapes the material out and realy deepens the lines.
I follow these videos like I used to follow The Beatles. Such an amazing vibe - your voice would soothe a wildebeest in heat. But, there is one thing oh master - if I may. Every time I try to re-scribe panel lines or the edges around doors, I am unable to keep within the furrow. Meaning, my cars have deep scratches and gouges around these panels that are almost impossible to cover up (at least at my level). What's the trick? I see how you brace with one finger, and your movements are fluid. But I'm wondering if maybe you could do a video on prep work (you probably already have one), or possibly address my long-winded comment here.
I've been curious for a while now, what is the average PSI do you to spray at for good coverage? I tend to use more enamels than anything else. But, have been using a lot more acrylics lately.
I've watched many of your videos and I think they're great. I'm new to airbrushing and model making... do you have any videos dealing with pearl or flake paints? Thanks in advance.
Just got an airbrush, it sprays in a very small area, and has a pretty blotchy spray. Could I get a bigger needle? Or does everything depend on the tip? Also the tip screws back and forth to change the airflow does that matter? Thanks.
Hi, first of all congratulations for your work, it's simply amazing! Could you give me a tip? Do you sand the pieces between one layer of paint and another? Regards
Metallic does not work at all on scale models, the flakes are far too large. It becomes disproportionate and looks more like glitter varnish from the 70's custom cars. Nice work anyway :)

Not sure how anyone could hate on this colour. Paint job is beautiful!!
Excellent paint job!.. I'll be anxious to see this when you are done with it!
If i ever buy a gtc4 i want it in that color. Most cars Ferrari makes green dosn't agree with but with this car it work and wears it well
Nice work and nice Color 👍
Loving the paint color. It's coming out great.
Expectacular el acabado! El color es brutal un 10.

Happy New Year Buddy!
Again another sweet build funny thing though the color looks almost like a British racing green. Very nice though 🤣 im partial to any shade of blue
Excellent job ! Good color ! Blessings. .!

I leave it in

Will you be building the new ferrari pista?
Is there a way to get chrome without an air brush? Tamoya spray can does not have chrome.
If they will send me on, ill build it. not sure if they will.
doing chrome is pretty much impossible with paint
@@TheScalemodelingChannel what do u mean by chrome is impossible by using paint

The scriber itself makes the biggest difference. Is it the same one i use? Tight grip on the scriber. Very low pressure on the body
Ah yes, been waiting for this. Nice!
The colour doesn't seem to match the picture you were showing. Maybe it's the lighting. Great video as always!

Awesome color choice !!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to see you do more matte or metallic finish paint jobs.
This is metallic
@@TheScalemodelingChannel I think he means in addition to this one.
@@formula93 pretty much all of my builds are painted in a metallic finish though
Love the color!

I love your channel btw
the bigger the needle and nozzle. the bigger the spray fan. the more airflos also helps.
I'm always curious where you get these resign kits, you search for them or they sent to you?
Another awesome video, cant wait to see the end results.
Found the company on facebook. They asked me to build some
@@TheScalemodelingChannel thanks, one question. Do you prefer cast resign of the molded plastic?
@@pr0_tr0ll plastic is easier to build. Resin is more forgiving when painting thicker coats.
How do you know when to stop airbrushing? How thick (in darkness) should the paint be?
When it looks the way i want it to. Every color is different
Hi, first of all congratulations for your work, it's simply amazing! Could you give me a tip? Do you sand the pieces between one layer of paint and another? Regards
No, only before paint. And after primer
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thank you for your answer!
Question, orange peel is due to a layer which is too thin?
It can have multiple reasons.
To thin
To thick
Uneven surface underneath
Incorrect aplication
And so on
Wow, painting w/o the airbrush...
don't get used to it :P
Good!!!!!!!
Did they take apart a die cast car and remold it
No
What do you mean by heating up the can of primer and what did you used ?
warm it up using a bowl of hot water, or a hair dryer to make it warmer.
New paint booth ?
does it look new? XD, no man. have had this setup for more than a year
It looks different from the one you made yourself. Where did you get this booth ? 😊

With all the scratching and blowing, this episode barely got by my porn filter
Should be red
Great work like usual Tom, but I have to be honest. I don’t like the colour.
can't win them all
