    Great job. I did the same with the blue stripe, burned the wood. I ended up not using the flag. I’m going to try no burn.

      Thanks for the comment and watching! It’s amazing the difference with each wood grain and different burning. Thanks again!

    Do you wipe down the stain after applying?

    • @jacksonworkshop
      @jacksonworkshop  3 года назад +1

      So I use too. And it recommends you do. However, I personally find better results buy not doing it. I just keep wiping it with the brush until it’s consistent and how I like it. Sometimes, I even add a second coat. Hope this helps.

    How long does this process take? Like if I were to try to do something like this as a side business, working 4-6 hours on Saturdays, how many could I realistically make?
    (I know the best way to find out is to just do it myself because everyone's process is different, but it couldn't hurt to hear from someone else)

      Personally I was knocking one out about every other day. Took about two days total. Could I have sped it up to a day? Probably…but would have to get up early. Carving the stars is the longest part, and putting protection coats on. Now I’m sure sure better equipment could reduce time and stuff as well.

    if you are a soldier or police officer or any other government official and took and oath to uphold the constituition in all regards and wears, supports, or displays the thin blue line flag on any persons in uniform, government property, or any other article owned by the united states is absolutly guilty of many federal flag code violations and you are a disgrace to many who died for the flag amd our country. shame on all of you for wearing this and you absolutly need to be removed from any positions of government office.

      I agree. I don't support flag desecration in the least bit no matter which semantical gymnastics people use to defend it
