Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
Most Recent Treatment plan, prior to passing:
Whole Brain and Spine Proton Therapy (Radiation) 13 sessions

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my
family.

Jenny really had an amazing life, even if it was short. She crammed so much in to that short life.. beautiful and strong friendships, a fairytale love story, two precious healthy children, a whole community she built on positivity and love, - which lives on and stronger every day even though she's gone... That girl really did it all.

So glad you got to go see Auntie Melanie and Uncle Nick and what you call cousins (that are like family). Looks like a restful peaceful time, lots of outdoors, playing, just chilling with friends and having fun. All can use a little R & R from time to time just to unwind and spend that quality time. Shout out also to them hosting you and all the neat home cooked meals you said they provided as well. Also, Uncle Michael for house and pet sitting, and Uncle Brad for airport rides to make it all happen too. Jenny is smiling seeing this, and I know from past videos how close a friend Melanie was to Jenny and you all, so that bond is unbreakable. Team work makes the dream work! Friends/family are a blessing. Happy Easter to all.

Run wild, run free. Through the fields, seeing animals, sunshine on their face. That is how I grew up. Out in the country where is was all fields and we found more to do than having a scheduled event to go to. Go out in the morning and not come home until hungry and back out again. The world was safe back then. My mother never had to look for us, we always came home. That is what kids today need. Grounding by running barefoot and lots of sun made for very healthy kids in my day. I wish we could turn back time so all kids could run wild and free and explore this beautiful earth we live on. I am glad the kids had fun, and you got to visit your friends. Happy Easter Kyle and kids.

Melanie's beautiful property is the perfect place to raise a family. Ellis & Winnie just let themselves so & enjoy the surroundings. They looked so happy & relaxed & just having fun.

To see the beautiful children playing outside and enjoying the animals and the amazing nature. The gorgeous daffodils 🌼 was a wonderful gift for me because obviously they grow naturally there. I miss Spring in the UK where I was raised in a very rural area and I loved helping with lambing time and other various animals giving birth in the Spring.
Here in Australia 🇦🇺 you can grow daffodils but we don’t get cold winters for them to grow everywhere naturally.
You look well rested Kyle and that’s a great thing to see. It was a great idea to go to Oregon it’s obviously done ALL of you a well deserved pick me up . I super happy that you all had fun.
One more thing I noticed particularly lately how patient Ellis is with Winnie she has a very good bond with him and it’s refreshing to see.

What a great Spring Break! Oh my goodness watching Ellis and Winnie walking up the ramp getting in the plane was adorable. Loved seeing the kids walking around in the country barefoot and enjoying the beauty that God created. Gorgeous yellow flowers Winnie was walking through. Country life is so peaceful. I have never been to Oregon but it seems very nice there. I’m sure the evenings were so peaceful. Not sure if the place the kids were jumping and playing at but we take the grandchildren to a similar place called Defy. They have an awesome time there. Hard to pull them away. Kyle I bet it was nice just relaxing there and letting the kids just wander around. Thier children are so blessed growing up so peaceful. So sweet seeing the momma sheep and her lamb. 🐑 I saw some smiles on Ellis and Winnie. Hope you got some rest Kyle I’m sure you needed it and what better place than going to your friends you enjoy being with .Have a Beautiful Easter Day with your families on both sides. Ellis has the most charming smile. I didn’t realize I wasn’t seeing them much until I saw. So many in your last few post. He seems like such a sweet easy going kiddo but also knows when he’s struggling he can come to you. Wha a little love bug you have in him.

Well done, Apple family. Life progresses at an alarming rate, children ultimately prove resilient, whilst our responsibility for their health, happiness and successful progress in life gets us through very hard times. I still miss my husband who died almost fifteen years ago, but we who have lost our partners must also be grateful for having experienced the great gift of mutual love (elusive to many people). Needless to say, they would never have wished a life of continuous suffering upon us ... and so we soldier on, eventually finding renewed enjoyment in life, laughter, and much to be grateful for. The foregoing is obvious but I hope it may help to know that you are definitely not alone. Your Jenny was a star: loving, generous and wise, and there's no doubt she would be/is proud of how you're all coping.
