I'm an old guy, always had a quick, soft, accurate shot. Fitness has always been my thing. I wanted to add cardio back into my workouts and wasn't sure how to do it without being bored. Tried running steps, love that, got boring (although I love it). Pickle ball offered a challenge, but before I got into it I thought, I have a basketball, we have a beautiful court up the street that nobody uses, why not try that? Started 6-8 weeks ago, had a blast as I worked to get my shot cadence back. I get lots of steps in a day, lots of solid cardio. Last 4 weeks I added dribbling workouts and a whole new world opened up. Most kids don't really focus on ball control, it's always about the shot. I learned ball control, left/right hands. Loving these new drills, even enjoy watching. Has really heightened my basketball experience. I'd like to thank everyone for these great drills. I recommend it to others, they don't seem to be interested. I have discovered the fountain of youth in Florida, play every day.

Starting today, update every week. I'm a decent ball handler, is what I thought. When you start getting to a level where you cand actually pound the ball, you start to realise how difficult it is to mantain a fast and strong rytm. Biggest problem right now is probably the overall power that I'm dribbling with. I'm very explosive and agile, but my dribbling abilities can't keep up. Let's see how far I can go
those are proper drills, no gimmicks, no fillers. coach Payton is a definitely a great coach.
