@Wanye Smith I guess you're ignorant of the fact that fracking is a thing then aren't you.
@Wanye Smith the brine doesn't come from the ocean though does it. The water is sourced with underground aquifers, rivers and lakes. It's why only Alberta hasn't banned the practise in Canada.
That water they force deep underground goes below the water table and is lost forever.

I checked the laws in my area (in Montreal(QC))
It's illegal to feed strays. Anywhere.
It's illegal to put up a lost dog posters anywhere except the rare public billboards.
It's illegal to leave any sort of paper note on a car that isn't a ticket (no passive aggressive notes for bad parkers).
Illegal to drink alcohol or eat anything at all, on beaches.
Illegal to climb a tree out in the public (fine on a private property).
Illegal to tie an animal to a fence, ramp or tree in public... So no leaving your pup alone outside while you go in the store.
Lost dog posters are put up at vets office so if you found a dog or cat can see if a sign is up looking for one. Animal shelter can also track down owner if animal has tag for rabies or identification.
Kinda reasonable though. Nice laws.
Are you serious? The next thing you know, taking in a stray animal is breaking the law too.

So getting a ticket for cursing on a subway is technically oppressing your first amendment right. Many federal courts have upheld that cursing does fall under freedom of speech as long as it doesn’t cross the line to a threat.

In Indiana they make an exception to the curfew law for teens who are going to or from work or to or from a school sponsored event.
In New York they have that too, probably the same in most states. I used to work late at a grocery store after submitting permission from my parents and if I got stopped coming home I was supposed to show them my uniform. I never did get stopped, I don't think people really get stopped for driving past curfew when under 18 unless they are breaking another traffic law
