Soyou is a great singer indeed. It's just whenever she sings with Hyorin she overshadows her but obviously not on purpose. The case is that Hyorin has such a unique tone combined with a nice vocal range and power that not many singer can keep up with her. But Soyou is definitely a really good singer especially if she sings solo. Just my opinion :)
Soyu definitely have a great voice. Her and Hyorin just have different tone and vocal colors. In this song Hyorin just stand out more and it wasn't because Soyu didn't sang it well because she did. The main reason why she did not stand out as Hyorin is because she kinda lack the emotion and the hurt in her voice wasn't that evident while Hyorin is singing this with so much hurt in her voice that I can feel her heartache. I think Soyu focuses too much in hitting all the right notes and in singing technically well that she kinda fallback in the emotion. So people naturally like Hyorin singing the song better. But Soyu have an awesome vocal color. If they sang a song like 'Some' or a sweeter tune she would have definitely stood out more. This song just better it Hyorin.

Soyou has a perfect balance of a strong voice and strong falsetto. And with Hyorin it just sounds just as beautiful. I don't think Soyou gets enough credit for the high notes that she does. Because it's one thing that you can belt, but it's another thing where you can reach high notes but to sing with such elegance is just so amazing to me. Both of these women have different strengths when it comes to singing. For me, I prefer Soyou's voice but I love Hyorin nonetheless, and she and Ailee are seriously one of few top singers of Korea. But I think Soyou needs to get more credit. She's amazing.

Can i say, this is probably one of the best cover of Christina Aguilera's Hurt? Even though they mispronounced some words, their incredible voices totally evened it out. Such an amazing piece by Hyorin and Soyou...i could totally see them getting into the song and being emotional. I was actually shocked that they could speak English almost perfectly! The hair on my body stood up too lol!
I'm kind of shocked that Hyorin literally hit all the notes (THAT MELISMA/VOCAL RUN GURL *BOWS DOWN*) during the bridge; that is seriously the hardest part of the song. No Christina, but that is pretty damn impressive. Obviously this is yards better then her debut tape.

Sistar, without any doubt, has the best vocals for girl groups. Fight me if you want, but you can't deny with the amount of performance they performed. I first heard this song from my school mate way back 2019 and she recently passed away. Now, I'm listening to it now and realized how sad this song was. It became more sadder after hearing this sang by SoYou and Hyolyn😭

Wow that was hardcore impressive! Hurt is such a hard song and Christina is singing it with so much power and feelings, there was no person I've seen to reach that vocal and emotional level of hers yet. But that was so impressive and Hyolyn was nearly as good as Christina. Amazingggg

Can i say, this is probably one of the best cover of Christina Aguilera's Hurt? Even though they mispronounced some words, their incredible voices totally evened it out. Such an amazing piece by Hyorin and Soyou...i could totally see them getting into the song and being emotional. I was actually shocked that they could speak English almost perfectly! The hair on my body stood up too lol!

I'm kind of shocked that Hyorin literally hit all the notes (THAT MELISMA/VOCAL RUN GURL *BOWS DOWN*) during the bridge; that is seriously the hardest part of the song. No Christina, but that is pretty damn impressive. Obviously this is yards better then her debut tape.
I think this performance is awesome. They definitely have different singing styles but they are both incredibly talented. Hyolyn to me has better pronunciation but Soyou has very good control.
