Bulgaria. October brings some fine weather to Sunny Beach!

- Sunny Beach in Bulgaria had it's summer season officially end on the 1st of October. However there are a few hotels still operating and people willing to take a chance and snap up a bargain break.
The weather can be variable in October , either plus 30C and blue skies or wet, windy with temperature trying to reach 18C or more. A few businesses stay open to catch the tail end travelers, many being property owners using cheap off season flights.
There is a small resident population so facilities and services are maintained for them out of season. A community has settled in the area from a variety of countries due to the climate, low crime rate, reasonable cost of living and good transportation links.

Great video. Weather changed when I was last out in September. Proves how unpredictable the weather can be. Weather looks very nice in the video.
Weather has been good, couple of wet days but turning colder next week.

We did some out last year out of the resort such as Pomorie but people don't watch them

Susan goes out when snowing but actually it's still a good temp at moment takes a while to cool
Weather is lovely still.. we just arrived 😊 Everything Is closing but its cool we got some pics with the Parrots and it's a lot quieter to do some walking and beachcombing.. Found sme ambergris last time and tons of SeaGlass.. Anyway was nice to see all the summer vidz, Have a good Autumn/ Winter!
Sunshine is great though. Might see you about as so few people around now.
I just arrived yesterday for my three week vacation. Tomorrow I'll have a walk from New Nessebar to Sunny Beach and forth to see this surreal ambiente with beautiful weather and almost nobody there. I'll follow you on Facebook maybe we'll meet soon ,would be nice. Anyways I'm looking forward to see more off-season videos of yours.😉
We were in Old Nessebar this afternoon with the camera, hopefully editing it tomorrow, it is deserted mostly but there is life in some places.

Absolutely love your videos! I've been so worried about coming after realising its out of season and the weather is so unpredictable.. but the weather is looking good! We fly out next Sunday and spoke to a few bars/beach bars that are hoping to stay open until late October 😍😆
Our hotel seems to be fully booked (I spoke to someone who tried booking it last week at rhe same time) so hopefully we will have some atmosphere in the resort 😆 I have packed loads of games for us to play on an evening 😁

Only a. Couple of places open now. We are out to Burgas tomorrow it's great all year.

Hi Andrew, great update as usual, although it's always a bit sad to see the season come to an end.
Now the resort is closed and you might be struggling for video content ideas, i'd enjoy seeing a video about buying an apartment there. As an owner, it would be great to get your advise on how best to go about purchasing one. Is it better to buy a new build or a resell? Also a look at those currently in construction would be great,
In one of your videos at the start of the season I spotted "sunny boulevard" in the background which looked a great location just up from Djanny. Wonder how that one is progressing? As well as some of the other new ones in construction.
I didn't get out there this year, but I'm hoping to purchase an apartment ahead of the 2025 season. Best wishes.
They are selling fast now so showing used is difficult. Pre owned you can see how good the management is, the stand alone new builds nobody knows. You have to walk the ground and look as online they look so different and you cannot see the area on artist impressions. The rules are different for UK and EU citizens so a video not so easy to make.

Seeing a video of some of those under construction would still be good, to see what locations in resort they are building in. I saw some of the Harmony Suites in your video a few weeks back and they look nice. Cheers.

When I was in for a dip I was put off by a jelly fish swimming nearby. I did like watching it from the shore though.
We do get them, if not many Susan still swims.
I wonder what is still open in Old Nessebar? With its small hotels and cafe bars you'd think that they could afford to stay open for longer.
The old town is pretty good most of the year, school trips etc keep it active

True. If you keep the hotel open with limited services you'll get negative reviews that will effect next year's holiday-makers.

The tourist ones have gone, the bigger ones like Lidl and Janet , m&m are open all year in sunny beach. Vlas loses them all as such.

The ski season starts in a few weeks so staff move on to that. We go out to Nessebar and Burgas not far away
