Wish you all the best and a speedy recovery.

I love watching someone with a passion for what they do.

Thrilled that you are back! Praying for a complete recovery for you!!!
Kia ora brother. I love the way you keep striving to make content bro regardless of your health condition. Like many others bro. Take it easy. Take your meds and listen to the doctors bro but cant wait to see what you come up with in 2024. Stay safe brother.
Thank you from Minnesota. Your content is so enjoyable. If you read this I will say……About 4 years ago my wife and I moved in to a much smaller house. We did this to take care of family. I lost my big garage shop and all my space. The house we moved into was a small 1 car. Your videos have inspired me to start up my shop and reimagine what that could be. Thank You your videos saved me. THANK YOU. I hope you get back to feeling yourself again
Here's hoping you make a full recovery. I also hope some safety wear company would provide you with some protective clothing.
I enjoy your channel and I hope it continues for a long time.
Good to see you back.Staying positive and keeping busy is a battle half one.Looking forward to new idea.Speedy recovery.
Hearing you thank us made me smile. I've learned a lot from your channel, so let me just thank you right back! You're awesome!
Hi John, glad you're back in the game. Always enjoy your cleverness in Colorado.
All the best to you John, and we will definitely be waiting for your content. Your health is most important, and the videos can wait.
Jean, you're the most creative guy out there. Your projects always amaze me. Take care of yourself and don't push too hard getting back. We're willing to wait for content until you feel up to increasing your output. And we're all praying for a full recovery.
Hi John from Chico, California…glad to see that you are on the mend and all of us are cheering you on! Did you say 56? years old? You are aging well if that’s the fact!! I am a left handed 55 year old woodworker and can’t wait to see what you have in store for us. Heal up well and just so you know…we don’t care about shaky hands and slowing down!! Just get healed up and cherish your family!!
No, 36. My dad is 58.
😂lol
Thanks for your candour. Wow, what a 4Q! Thank goodness you are recovering and understand the root cause and that it’s treatable. John please prioritise your health, your wife and your young baby. Keep them front and centre - we love your workmanship but less is more! Have a healthy joyous and successful 2024 from Hampshire UK
We are all with you pal, you will get up to full speed soon ... love from Yorkshire, England !
Jean, I just want to echo the sentiments from others whom have said that you are proof that you can't keep a good man down, especially when he's so passionate about something. I have watched 1000's of RUclips videos for a number of years and have only made 1 other post besides this one. I first came across your channel back in late 2019/2020 when the pandemic hit and was looking at ideas of how to transform 1/2 of my 2 car garage into a functioning woodworking shop. You have been my go to guy with inspiring me to come up with creative ways to maximize my storage and functionality. I am currently a few years from retirement, have made progress on my shop design and I am in the process putting those plans into action. I hope that by the time I retire, my shop will be complete and I would like to jump into the next phase of my life by joining the RUclips community with valuable content of my own. The inspiration you have been to me and others is unfathomable when it comes to being the average working Joe, working hard at balancing family & job with utilizing the talents that God has given you, while so many other's on RUclips do not show that side of them. You bring the human aspect to this community. I too have the same struggles and most of the time it leaves very little time for woodworking. I will continue to watch for your videos and look forward to incorporating your ideas and creativity into my own shop. Stay healthy and know that your subscribers will be here waiting for you when you are healthy. From West Virginia, happy woodworking.
I've seen others of your videos... but I didn't subscribe until this video dropped. Men talking honestly about men's health is so important for everyone... Kudos to you and don't stop!
P.S. Not enough makers from the Southern Hemisphere (I'm Antipodean)!
Sorry 2023 health-wise wasn't that good, can totally sympathise with that; my wife nearly died last year and I now have a life long medical problem. I think all you can do is soldier on and do the best you can do. Looking forward to seeing, what you're going to achieve. Take care of yourself and remember that you and your families well being are the most important thing. 👍
Glad you are on the mend and that you are back!
Wish you the best. Thank you for engaging and entertaining us.

So sorry to hear you have been through some really tough times. You are an inspiration for many people. Take care and be kind to yourself.
Love your work, love your videos, love your creativity. So glad you're back. Self health is most important.
I always enjoy your videos and get some great inspiration for my own projects. Get well soon, as health is the only thing you cannot buy. Next step would be to do more of what makes you happy. And if this - by chance - is to keep your channel going, this would make me very happy, too.
Take it easy. I had a stroke 27 years ago when I was 40. Recovery is slower than you would like but you will get there. Enjoy your videos here in Colorado.
Summer there and winter here, too bad we can’t hav3 a mixture of the two!
I would happily support you based on the videos you made in the past year, even without a monthly video. You're one of the most innovative DIY-level woodworking channels out there, with most others clearly having grown past doing it as a hobby, and I appreciate you greatly for that. It's just very hard to relate to videos by woodworkers who work fulltime in a production shop or explicitly make only educational content, as most of them don't remember the struggle of having only the necessary tools and very limited space. Your angle is unique, and with your very efficient format it makes for some incredibly engaging content.
I hate the idea of you getting burnt out having to make an extra video for members every month. I would at most aim for every other or every three months, and call anything beyond that a bonus. Like I said, even without those added videos I would happily support you. Not making a promise you can't keep long-term should make it clear to everyone that they're just giving you money for the entertainment and learning you provide!
Edit: To add to this, you should really see what projects around your house you could also make a video out of! Even if it's not directly wood working related, I would happily watch you do some random house maintenance stuff, even in a less edited format. Not every video has to be a banger, in fact RUclips's algorithm even favors quantity over quality. Making it clear which content is 'filler' or uploading it to a second channel would give you a good way to engage with your audience with less effort required.
Hope you make a speedy recovery, take care and do what's best for you!
I would also like to see some of the other projects outside of "woodworking". I'm sure you will be able so share a lot of ingenius tips and tricks.
I wish you all the best. Your positive attitude will go along way to hasten your recovery.
Hope you make a full recovery, all the best for 24
Congrats on overcoming all life challenges with such a positive attitude! Take your time. Your content is awesome.
I am not surprised to see all of these great comments regarding your health scare, and recovery. Trucking on after a health scare is quite difficult I know, but you are doing the right thing by not shutting down, be it yourself or your channel. I know I speak for us all when I say, KUDOS, AND WE ARE PROUD OF YOU AND YOUR COURAGE TO MOVE FORWARD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTENT.
Following you always, stay happy in your happy place. One day at a time builds amazing things!
Great job on the update and hoping for a full recovery for you!
Stay strong and find a good work, life balance! Everyone will win if you do that.
Your creativity is second to none. I have never seen as interesting or differently thought out or planned projects from any other RUclipsr except perhaps Izzy Swan. There’s a collaboration that would blow people’s minds! 😊
That said, we all know that above all, it’s your health and family who are most important. We are happy with whatever you can do, whenever you can do it. Take care of yourself and your family first.
Happy new year!
I completely understand my mum just had a mini stroke last year and re covert can be tough so well done you for getting back on track 😊
Keep on soldering! You'll get through this and come out stronger on the other side! Good luck mate and thanks for sharing your struggles!
Stay strong. Prayers to you.
Stay well, I enjoy your content. I have also had a couple of TIA's and understand where you are coming from. You and your family is what is important. We can wait.
Hey Boet. So sorry to hear about your health issues. I am glad you are on the road to recovery. Take care Cheers from NZ
Glad you are doing so well and continue to improve. Looking forward to seeing your up coming videos.
Wishing you a full, speedy recovery. I'm glad to hear you are going to keep the content going. I am looking forward to the material roof storage video as that's my next project for my single garage workshop. So ill wait to see what you come up with. Take it easy.
UK subscriber 👍
Welcome back, and I'm glad you are getting better. I love the line, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay." This made me laugh out loud and had my wife looking at me like I was crazy. Your projects are great for those of us who need a great shop but don't have your skill and creativity.
Get well, take the time you need and the best of life to you and your family!
Best of luck with your recovery. Take your time. Don't force it. Stay safe.
