The lower your fan speed, the cooler the laptop because you're forcing the laptop to thermal throttle. If you cool it better, the laptop sees the thermal headroom to push extra voltage and go faster, hence it still gets hotter even though it has faster fan speeds.
Wouldn't you get less performance if it's throttling itself? Or are you saying it will push unnecessary extra voltage if it sees the temps are lower with faster fans?
@@itzcobrahands430 Yes, that's what I meant. He's letting the laptop throttle itself with the lower fan speed so he's loosing performance while also getting cooler temps since the laptop is not pushing as hard. It's kinda like he set a limit based on temperature
Lowering the speed of your fans does NOT make your computer run cooler. Your computer will max out on heat and thermal throttle. Your computer will reach thermal limits faster and as a result will be running hotter longer. This is way way worse for your computer and battery. Nobody do this!
Your laptop runs cooler... with the fans on low?.... why? Also, compressed air should remove that dust... using a tooth brush and holding the center hub you are very likely to create bearing damage..
Really found these tips helpful as I just had the puffy battery issue so I have been looking into how to better cool my razer laptop for the sake of my battery.
Hey nice vid, I have a 2019 blade 15 as well, I have the advanced model where for some reason it doesn’t have gaming mode but I’ll just adjust the fan speed like urs, if possible a review would be nice but also if you can make video on u playing games and what your cpu/gpu temps are would really be helpful
Wait wait... the more your fans are spinning the laptop gets hotter??? Don’t think that ones right there bro, gotta keep the fans spinning fast so you can push more hot air out, if anything it’s gonna make your lap hotter 😅
I bought a new raze blade 15 advanved (late 21), bought a stand and use razer synapse. I still got cpu- temperatures between 95-100°C (~203°F). Can anyone tell me why me cpu cant just chill for a moment?
where you eating cheetos my guy? lol , i can see them on your fingers, i would know cuz myne end up red on those exact fingers when eating hot cheetos lmao
Hi, can i know how this razer blade performs today?? Is it still alive? Are you facing many issues during the years up until now?? Sorry I'm asking this, because there are alot of people having problems with their razer laptop like the presents of several issues with their laptop, thank you :)
Thank you for waiting for my reply. Yes it still performs well, even with the new battery. Just follow these steps in this video, and you shouldn't have to replace the battery. If your battery has already expanded, replace it before it causes serious damage.
Hi. Can anyone tell me if razerblade 15 advanced has any battery charging stop feature? Like you set your battery to charge only upto 60% while gaming plugged in. Lenovo vantage, MSI, asus rog armoury crate has it
@@c.l.ktheone3190 That's because it's pulling power from the battery, and it's not gonna be the smoothest. Use the laptop plugged in, it will be a lot better.
Question - I have the same laptop however my left fan has went bad and i want to replace it. Any recommendations on where to find a replacement and should both be replaced instead of one?
Hey dude, I'm sorry I really don't know...maybe send ur laptop to razer or to GeekSquad. This other option is at your risk, look on eBay for a replacement fan and try to do it yourself? I hope you find a solution.
One more question well two when playing games and it’s at one hundred keep it plugged in if you want to still play And second question when it’s at manual keep the fam speed on low?
Yes, imagine as if it were a desktop, it can be plugged and fully charged, and still played. Also Yes keep your fans low! I know it may sound weird but it WILL keep it much cooler.
Wait...what? So the lower the fan speed the cooler ? I’m not sure if there was something lost in translation ? I mean there is literally even color tips, blue it’s cool, red it’s hot... is he trolling? He’s trolling isn’t he? 🧐
So I'm missing Gaming and Creator under system performance (have custom instead). Also my power plan in Windows 11 System options shows the same. Only Balanced and Custom. Any idea how to fix this? I've reformated pc, reinstalled Synapse multiple times. Any help would be super
Yes, im not sure where you stand. But, lowering the fan speed isn't only to lower the noise. It is also to make it run cooler, refer to the pinned comment!
@Tony C when you're working inside a laptop you should unplug the battery from the board. This is not to say you need take the entire battery out the laptop, rather, unplug the battery connector from the board

If you want better results I suggest using a compressed air can and blow into the fans.
Yeah that works too!
Dont ser fans to low! It will throttle performance. Set them in high an let her rip. It only gets to around 72c
this is good do you think keeping lid open helps for this model?
Thank you so much
Thank you I have my fans all the way up when I lowered them it got cool in seconds
how is thing doing in 2023 does it still working anyproblems to report
Thanks!

In my experience. You dont need the full fan speed to stay cool.

is it important to have the laptop stand/riser tilted?
No, it just has to have room to vent air underneath. However, you want to angle it is your choice.

You don't need gaming and creator especially if you have a higher end model. Just custom set your fans to low?
