    Is it the same way for the right side? Or are there any other steps for the right cv axle

    Just replaced CV axle on my 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander and the process I started the CV axle crooked had to tap it off my question is the output shaft which the CV axle slides onto pulled out a little bit I pushed it back in .Should that have moved?

    • @CoopersAutomotiveRepair
      @CoopersAutomotiveRepair  6 лет назад +1

      Daniel Neal They will move sometimes As long as you moved it back in place it will be no problem

      That can’t be a lancer. The tie rod end goes under the mount on a lancer. Also the ball joint is a part of the control arm on a lancer and you have a pinch joint holding it in. And the lines are all wrong for an 02 lancer. And he says Kia spectra at the end. WTH is up with the title.

      Kia Spectra according to him towards the end of the video.

    When I pulled my axle, that fluid started coming out. Its not stopping. What is it and where do I refill it?? Engine oil?!?!

      This car has an automatic transmission it’s automatic transmission fluid. You feel it through the dipstick or you check the transmission fluid

    Aren't you concerned about car's paint finish, the way that light is being slapped on and yanked off, don't like that at all.

  • @DdgeShelby
    @DdgeShelby 4 года назад +1

    It's a 03 Kia Spectra as you mention in the last 30 seconds of the video but the title and beginning of the video you say Mitsubishi Lancer.
    Maybe edit the title so you don't throw people off a bit?
    Good video otherwise.
    I like the humor.
