I've been watching for quite some time and I've found your sense of humor to be a nice spoonful of sugar to help the medicine of learning the intricacies of the watch mechanics go down easier 😂. By the way, that performance monitoring software is astonishing. The more data you can collect, the better idea you have about what's going wrong (or right) in the watch. That has to be a game changer for you!
Thank you, glad to hear you enjoy my videos! The eTimer is nice. It gives you a lot more info than the Timegrapher and you can actually hear what is going on
I really appreciate your photography and editing skills on your videos. Everything is so clear and well-framed, so there's nothing that winds up being hidden or out-of-sight. Despite the short length of this video it was very easy to see the progression of your servicing the watch from beginning-to-end. I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll be working on in the future. Thanks for sharing your work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It’s my first video trying to make it very short but include as much as possible and still make it watchable so it’s very nice to hear you enjoyed it 🙂
1:51 First of all, nice work - I wish it went that fast in reality! Now, at this time code - what are you doing there with the jewels. Is this a cleaning thing, an adjustment of some sort (endshake?) or are you possibly replacing them? It's unfortunately too fast for me to tell. Thanks!
That's an automatic oiler and I'm oling it from the uderside. This video is a cut down version of the full video with explanations and far more details I did prior to this one. If the whole process interests you, check it out: studio.ruclips.net/user/videou1mauXZilfA/edit
Hello! Can this watch be fully restored? I see powermatic 80 can not because of some plastic parts. Now, this watch also has plastic parts! Just wondering!?
Hello I have a question, if I was to get my nh35a movement serviced after say 5 years of regular use in a dive watch how much would if cost. I am planning to buy an addiesdive diver as my daaily beater
I'm not sure but the NH movements are inexpensive. It would most likely be considerably cheaper to buy a new movement and replace it rather than service the old one. Check ebay for the prices of the movements
Not that I know of. I have seen them disappearing before for no apparent reason. I Googled it and it happens to everyone. Different wording may solve it. Is Chris from a different channel? Or someone I know?

Many watches have plastic parts. If you one can obtain replacement parts, it can be fully restored.

Actually I have already bought, Its just getting shipped but I am interested to know how much would It cost

i own one of those how much is a service for one ?
I'm not sure. Google Seiko service, it will be on their website
How long does the accuracy hold up with all those plastic parts?
There are no plastic parts involved in running the watch. They are for changing the date so the accuracy is not affected by them 👍
Chris sent me. 🙂
Chris?
@@MacroTime28800 My responses keep disappearing. Is there something going on with the comments here ?

"G'day. Chris here....Clickspring."
One of his latest videos refers to you.
@@JxH got it! Clickspring 👍
so plastic part actually a failsafe, thanks
That's right. You'll find plastic in Swiss watches too, for the same reason.
Another amazing video and inspiring to see you work! Thanks! I wish you'd visit WRT where I've sent you a PM.
Just a quick version of my previous much longer video 👍
