Aatrox I'm fine with honestly. I played old Aatrox and the only thing I ever liked about him was the blood pool thing, but damaging himself to do more damage was stupid, the healing was the only good version and it was busted at times or straight up underwhelming, and the revive was often just a second death - could have been fine if he did a burst of damage around him upon reviving, or gained a shield based on how many people were around him when he went down. 6:30 damn have not heard Stonewalls voice in so long. Guy pretty much taught me how to jungle when i first started league of legends. I miss his jungle videos.
everyone keeps talking about "blocking 2 attacks in a row" but there was also a fairly easy setup to block 3 in a row, "get 3/4 stacks for a block > use W on a minion to get a block (3/4 persist) > wait W cd out > tank turretshot > attack to get 4th stack > tank another one > W > tank third
there was a bit backlash of Panth mains when the rework was released. a lot of them quit the game. if i remember correctly, he was nearly unplayable top lane after the rework and was only playable as a support. even after they buffed his solo laning, he became more of a mid laner than a top laner. (acording to my memory of the first couple of months after he got reworked)
Pantheon was my very first played champion way back 2012, and I loved him back then but eventually his simplistic playstyle made me go for other champions. His rework made me so happy, nostalgic and it made me feel curious like when I started playing League when I was a teenager.
as an old pantheon main and also curent pantheon main i agree that this rework was one of the best reworks, i enjoyed the storry twist, his playstyle, his visual, and those quots ? just listen to them every time i am feelin down (yea realy), and when i dont have the option to listen to it a just remember them as i go to the next chalange :) love this video
funny thing is Panth is actually at his strongest at early and late game, as his lane pressure in mid game falls off hard. Thats why he has to roam in the mid game. his Late game is one of the strongest in the game as 30% armor pen, combined with black cleaver, bork and eclipse gives him one of the most potent tank shreding kits in the game. Edit: He also can still assassinate ADC's with these items while maintaining his resiliance using his E
I'm learning how to bake cause of pantheon and he was the first champ I actually really put time to learn and help me learn the game, I'm glad he got a great video on him like this

Panth support is still a thing you just don't see it much
Pantheon is a great therapist
I liked his pre season 10 mini rework cause his empowered abilities actually made something more than damage. Now it's just Q more damage, w more damage and e a bit of ms speed that is almost never used unless for trading. I didn't like that he blocked turret shots but he was better overall
Comet Spear is the most badass skills to hit. You duel it out with your enemy. Both of you walk out low and you just turn around and hit a spear and walk away like a fking gigachad.
Pantheon🤤🥵🤭
It was my old and 1rst main back in S2 / S3 and S5 . i have so much fond memories with him, this made me want to play him again
"How much further could we march if we were not forced to carry fear on our backs?"
this quote has to be my favorite
6:30 damn have not heard Stonewalls voice in so long. Guy pretty much taught me how to jungle when i first started league of legends. I miss his jungle videos.
Pantheon, quotes are so motivating that even after losing a game or two, I have the will to fight one more.
5:59 Damn I miss stonewall...dude was always on point with his gameplay commentaries~
everyone keeps talking about "blocking 2 attacks in a row" but there was also a fairly easy setup to block 3 in a row, "get 3/4 stacks for a block > use W on a minion to get a block (3/4 persist) > wait W cd out > tank turretshot > attack to get 4th stack > tank another one > W > tank third
Mantheon Quotes always gives me goosebumps, such a Chad, such a Man, inspiring and unyielding, with a VERY badass music entrance.
14:00 Before Gwen's theme I used to play Phanteon's theme in repeat for the whole day every day. That music is soooo gooooodd...
Now I have to listen it again.. Deam it..
Pantheon is one of the best motivational speakers. I love playing him for his quotes.
Pantheon is that bro in the gym that avoids the mirrors but stands over you as you push yourself over that next rep
there was a bit backlash of Panth mains when the rework was released.
a lot of them quit the game.
if i remember correctly, he was nearly unplayable top lane after the rework and was only playable as a support.
even after they buffed his solo laning, he became more of a mid laner than a top laner.
(acording to my memory of the first couple of months after he got reworked)
I’ve mained pantheon since season 3 (2012) and agree with your video. It took me awhile to appreciate and love the changes.
Man, i love pantheon's music theme, gives me goosebumps to this day, makes me want to play him
Mantheon has the best theme song hands down
the voice lines segment was chefs kiss
Pantheon was my very first played champion way back 2012, and I loved him back then but eventually his simplistic playstyle made me go for other champions. His rework made me so happy, nostalgic and it made me feel curious like when I started playing League when I was a teenager.
as an old pantheon main and also curent pantheon main i agree that this rework was one of the best reworks, i enjoyed the storry twist, his playstyle, his visual, and those quots ? just listen to them every time i am feelin down (yea realy), and when i dont have the option to listen to it a just remember them as i go to the next chalange :) love this video
Pantheon's speak at the end of the video made me cry, think it hit me hard. 👌
funny thing is Panth is actually at his strongest at early and late game, as his lane pressure in mid game falls off hard.
I'm learning how to bake cause of pantheon and he was the first champ I actually really put time to learn and help me learn the game, I'm glad he got a great video on him like this
As a pantheon main i have to say this video makes me very happy
This is why pantheon will be my favorite league champion ever. The rework encapsulated inspiration, and I love it.
The tower theme from radiant dawn is a really appropriate choice of music for this retrospective
I love how the lore also kept with his rework. Adding an extra layer to the rework
That man's theme is literally the greatest thing ever created.
4:25 When the smash terminology slips through
the last part was a perfect touch to the video👌
Pantheon always held a special place in my heart along with Aphelios. He was the second champion I bought, the first i ever played in normal games. The feeling of a god of war, a spartan warrior that is easy to understand yet fun to master. One of the best reworks, I agree
For anyone wanting to listen to Panth quotes, I highly recommend a version from "Just another nobody".
I agree with pretty much all that you said, and the LORE! So gooood!!
The best quote is obviously, "I call upon the stars... to bake my bountiful breads!"
Wow, hearing Stonewall is such a massive throwback
Pantheon just awakens the primal drive to keep going no matter what
Honestly with the theme and voice lines they nailed it
Also one of the most hard-hitting themes in game
AAAAAOOOAAAHHHH
chills
I miss old Pantheon and nobody can change my mind.
From outdated design and being one of the most popular and feared champions in League of Legends.
To S+Tier reworked design and became one of the most unpopular and weakest champions in League of Legends.
As a pantheon main since the pre-rework one i can say this was one of the best reworks in league. I just wish they added back the slow on charged Q, it was really helpfull!
Imagine tower diving and not tanking dmg from the tower B)
hearing stonewalls voice after all these years holy shit that brings me back
I miss stonewall so much... thanks for remembering him :(
Fav voice lines: I cast my excuse to the first ! And I sought power on targon pick, but I found it within.
I feel the Yasuo's fear every time Pan walks towards him
my main, watching the old panth made me feel nostalgic
