  • Featured in this video is the un-amazing story and review of this 1/43 Spark MG-LOLA EX 257 of 2001. This car is one of Sparks older models and like today's in mounted on a hand-painted (grey) wood base and includes an acrylic jewel cover. And unlike today's Spark Models, thank God, is packaged 📦 in a cheesy cardboard box. Very protective but awful and cheep looking.
This car was produced for Le Mans LMP675 Prototype regulations in 2001 and was a joint collaboration between Lola and MG. And, like many British efforts at Le Mans, was an abysmal failure and MG bailed out after just 2 years.

me too, especially when I paid almost nothing for it. Lister storm coming up next. Want to find a Macros GT3 as well. More obscure and largely forgotten race cars. You might surprised to know that I've also acquired a couple F1, Spark and Bburago.

Unknown racecars? Count me in, excited for that lister storm u showed too. I was eyeing the same on ebay for weeks..haven't got it, even for 2001 they got high power out of these small engines. Great video, they are ironically more successful in historic races than their career.

The lister storm set me back about 45.00. Always wanted to get that and the Macros. I'm a nutcase for losing causes, although I did get a Red Bull F1 and Mercedes, just love the liveries.

Mark Blundell was an ex- F1pilot too. In 2003 an MG Lola was driving at Le mMans (#27) but from team Intersport Racing. They had an engine failure just before midnight and had to abandon the race. But they had finished second with this car in 12hr Sebring 2002. This 2003 Le Mans MG Lola was also available in 1/43 Spark

@@markzebr6463 no tx, I know this because I am a huge Le Mans fan and I collect atm only LM 1954, 1979 and 2003 1/43 cars. I want the complete not only starting grid but also non starters that failed to qualify from these years. I'll keep watching. Bye

@@MrAppelvink Fantastic. Collecting can be very rewarding and very expensive. Best of luck and thanks for tuning in.
