  • Featured in this video is a look at the most widely viewed 1/43 scale race cars on my channel. These 10 cars come from Spark, TSM, and IXO. The oldest of these cars have been on my channel for over a year, thus the factor that they get so many views from sheer exposure. The #2 car in the top 10 has only been on the channel for 13 days. Grab a beer 🍺 sit down, relax, and enjoy the show...If you're not over 18, don't grab a beer as I don't want to kicked off of RUclips.

I usually never comment but I have to make an exception in this case. In the content creating world where views = validation, the fact that you are happy that one of your videos got 480 views and 9 likes is such a breath of fresh air. I am genuinely shocked and have been smiling for minutes now. I don't know what to else say and don't want to ramble, but just know that you made my whole week😁

Thanks for your feedback. I'm not a RUclips genius. Just a collector sharing my thoughts and trying to elicit feedback. My Channel primarily reviews collectable 1/43 scale racing cars, not hot wheels. Secondly, I attend about 6 IMSA, SRO or WEC races per year and do Paddock reviews of the cars, see where I'm going. If you had followed the entire video, you may have gotten a better idea of where I was coming from. anyway, thanks for watching and for your feedback.

This car now as of August 1, 2024 has over 1000 views. It is also finally back in stock at Toronto Motorsports. IXO and Spark models are available as well at this time.

Great stuff Mark. Being a Porsche fanatic it’s good to see so many on the list. The #75 963 is my favourite.
FYI, the throwback livery for #7 on your list is a nod to the 911 GT1 that won Le Mans in 1998.

I too am a Porsche fan, even though I own a C7 Corvette. However, Its many of my Porsches that fair poorest on RUclips. I wonder if the market and RUclips are over saturated with Porsches. On the other hand my Lotus did not do well and I have a Lister Storm, not yet reviewed, that I think may not be well received either. Thanks for tuning in yet once again.

I went to Porsche USA HQ in Atlanta a couple of months ago. On a wall leading to a cafe they had a wall of 1/43 race winning Porsches all set up chronologicially in a glass case. I get the feeling you would love to see that.

Hi Chuck. Yes, I have been there. It was quite amazing. I've got to join the Porsche Club to get discounts on the Dealership Porsches that they have there. I will go there again this year on the way to the races. I plan to buy a Porsche after I sell my Corvette. I think that everyone that loves motorsports should go there. I hope that they will open up the Panoz museum soon. It was closed when I wanted to go there. Its truly amazing in regard to all of the great motor sports places that we havee access to here in this country. I'm glad that you were able to see and thanks for bringing up this subject. I hope that those who follow this conversation will take advantage of this opportunity when able.

Have you got a Z4 GT3? Awesome video, Rexy was my favorite

Yes I do. Only one. Scroll through my list and check it out. The Z4 is my favorite BMW. Hard to find good Z4 models these days. When you find it, drop me a comment. Let me know how you like it.

The fact that 7 of these cars are Porsches is quite interesting.
    Btw, poor Felbermayr Proton

You know how many Porsches I have,,,,,probably 150. Porsches also make up the majority of my least viewed videos, Some reviewers think that people are fed up with Porsches. If you are considering buying a Porsche, even more reason to watch reviews. You Know that I Love car reviews, of any collectibles and watch everyone's. I just love to see what people have and what they are like as I am buying cars every month. I particularly love your latest haul. Thanks for sharing.

Like ur other watchers said, the Porsches are amongst the more present and loved, im really impressed by the JDC 963 to have skyrocketed so fast. but i really love that GEAR Huracan too..To answer ur doubt, looking at irl pics of the grello 2019, it seems that indeed the 911 number is encircled by this flashy red tone, maybe to better see the number on low visibilty, not totally sure. The petit le mans white and gold wheels rsr are available in the spark line. #912 ref s5849 and #911 ref s5848. Great video.

It seems, you have said, it is the latest and greatest. I really don't care but, dynamics do fascinate me. I'm told that RUclips has algorithms that nobody seems to understand. I just want to help people make good buying decisions. I don't have a local retailer and have to buy through Ebay, Race retailors or internet retailers. I have made some poor decisions ie. paid for crap, paid too much or just plain bough too much and have to reign myself in. Collecting these cars can cost a fortune. But, I have collected a lot of crap over the years and the cars have been the most pleasurable as I see them at races or, I buy a car and then find a race on RUclips that features the car and learn more about race cars past and present. And I ramble on. Thanks for listening. I'm looking forward to your upcoming Peugeot review.

@@markzebr6463 ur work is valuable and u already helped tons of people with their buying choices, me included. As i said before its always tedious to predict how this or this car is gonna perform with as u told the algorithms and all..but i try to watch and interact with channels that provide stories and details. Thanks,

I started collecting 1/43 models two years ago and just like you I started with cheaper brands. It was more about quantity then quality. These days I mainly buy premium brands like Spark and Looksmart. Once you get used to looking at Spark quality its difficult to go back. I might still give IXO a chance it its a car I really really want and cant find it somewhere else. Its still the best of the cheaper brands in my opinion. I have the Spark 911 RSR Le Mans Rexy 🙂

You and I seem to think alike as I suspect many other collectors do in the early stage. Many of my poorer grade models I have given to neighborhood teens or sold. Thanks for sharing and tuning in.

@@markzebr6463 I have a box of Bburago models in the closet I bought early on that I cant stand to look at anymore now that I expect higher quality. Might as well give them to the neighborhood kids.

Not surprising that 7/10 cars are Porsches

    • @markzebr6463

Statistically I have 10 times as many Porsches compared to every other brand combined. Market dynamics and Porsches involvement in motor sports have a lot to with it.
