No problem. Can’t go wrong with either of those!
I rock with the regular EVO trimmers. What made a big difference in performance for me was adding the saber blade to it. Cuts just like the saber now and more ergonomic in hand.

@@Seancutshair thank you. Looking to upgrade, and I'm wondering just how much better a Saber or GoldFX is than a GTX EVO for the $50 price difference. Maybe a ranking would clear that up for me
I've had the Saber trimmer for a few months now and damn I love them almost more than my girlfriend lol. They are amazing right out the box and since using I have never felt any alcohol sting on my skin after a line up. Those X-Pro blades go so hard. Highly second this recommendation.

Ps content idea- Maybe a video of things you have or you see others buying that end up collecting as junk and only using once. "How to be a Clutter free money saving barber "(wish I knew when I was starting off)
I use Babyliss grippers. Think they’re all pretty much the same
More chance of finding bigfoot than SC actually having anything in stock

The update x evo is a lot quieter i only know this cause i had the previous x evo model that malfunction the replacement Gamma sent me has a new clip set and mines came with a regular x pro blade with the one cutter blade but the video was 🔥🔥🔥

I also retired my Instinct after just one week of work!! It annoyed my clients and myself!!! I tried selling but no1 at my salon wanted them either for that same reason smh

I’m good! Still haven’t used the cyborgs but one of my guys has them and says they’re good!
Sean, honest question, saber or cyborg?
I would probably prefer the cocco bldc over the flex bc its super sharp w/ the digital blade but flex is good for kids bc it's quiet
Haven’t used the cyborg but the saber is one of the best ever without a doubt
@@Seancutshair is it the options on blades that make it so good? Have you tried the snapfx or jrl fresh fade 2020t?
Specs wise, the saber and cyborg are the same. But feels different in hand. I have both and I cant quite make the difference, i do prefere the feel of the saber and its cheaper because its been in the market longer

How you compare it to the cyborg?
I had the saber and i couldnt set the blade close to zero gap for some reason ..they hit ok at best ..but nothing apectacular...i love the rebel trimmer though
Something was definitely off then the saber is hands down the best trimmer they’ve made

Gold saber but can’t go wrong with any of those
You should try the gold x pro blade with the one cutter set on the x evo, personally i think it’s a lot sharper then the sabers

My saber sometimes snags the skin
Reset it and make sure it’s set correctly. I never had any snagging or pulling

do the evo guards fit the saber?
What are the Evo guards? Like they came with the trimmer? I’m not sure I never use trimmer guards but as long as the Evo blade is the same style as the saber I think they might
I have a flex and switched the blade to the black one thinking it looked cooler…cut a few heads including my hair with it and didn’t like it. Almost returned it but tried swapping back to the original gold blade and now I love it! Gold blades allllll dayyyy (for some weird reason haha)
Yeah idk why but the gold does seem slightly better
What is the difference with rebel vs hitter if both have the one blade on it
Rebel is significantly more powerful but would be similar feeling

I'm really surprised that none of these barber youtubers mentions anything about length (in mm) settings. These come with stupid combs like 1,5mm / 3mm / 6mm and skip over a lot of lengths and no one is talking about that.
I have a fading video that shows my exact steps. Doesn’t skip over any lengths
