- This is of course from the great Icons series that G4 used to show. I wish they would bring it back, it was a great show.
I'll get more normal Arcade vids up sometime. Using a different computer now but has a busted drive so I can't import stuff that I record from my boards yet.

I was Born in 74 so I was an 80s child now as an adult I love the 1980s even more now!! it was by far the best decade Ever Love this Video brings back great memories and it inspires me to come up with great content on my own channel :)

And keep in mind I was a baby like 4 or 2
And soon the game became an entire childhood to me
And threw out sometimes I wasn’t
Anymore into pac-man like a normal
Kid watching Minecraft and fnaf because those two
Control my gaming from out
But then pac man came in and the world said to me
Come back leave those games and remeber who you were
And then pac man made me happy again
I wasn’t all angry up and raging at times
I was just feeling that Wacka Wacka and feel to do stuff
So the moral is
You may have some games that are controlling you now
But remeber one day
The old games will fix your life and you will remeber your self again
I'm glad Pac-Man's legacy is still strong to this day. Probably the biggest indication is that Pac-Man is in Smash Bros.
They should bring back arcades

Rainbow Strike its all about revenue. since the home consoles takeover arcades have died as they don't make the operator any money. arcades are now a collectable item. and many people do make some nice arcade places that people can hang out in. but the real arcades are long gone.

Teddy Beer It’s unfortunate that he was in denial about King Kong for far too long, as he could’ve always relied on that legitimate record to mitigate the consequences at least a little bit.
People always have said that he has a big ego, so I guess he couldn’t keep it in check, even when it was in his best interest.
Too bad too, as his comment about the abortion debate in King of Kong is insightful into how people in the US like to (nay NEED to) take one side or the other on such issues, if only because nuance is too complicated for many...
Just to clear this up. He used an emulator once for a donkey kong score instead of legitimate arcade hardware. Granted, he still played and earned that score, he was probably given a slight advantage due to the emulation in one form or another. That's literally it. He didn't use cheat codes or anything of the sort.
As for Pac-man, as the others have stated. He is 100% legit. He often livestreams himself playing at Arcades on untampered machines doing perfect scores. The hate Billy gets from the gaming community is much like Trump. It's often just a pointless witch-hunt. It's ridiculous.

I was in kindergarten when this game came out, but I became obsessed with it. I bought all the merchandise and watched the cartoon show. I never knew about the real-world economics, but that does explain a lot. Because while Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man games were everywhere, I had a hell of a hard time tracking down the other Pac-Man sequel machines to play. Plus and Super were fairly common, but Baby and junior were rare. I think I saw Professor ONCE on a family trip and my dad wouldn't let me play it. I NEVER saw Pac & Pal even once... didn't even know it existed until I found the emulated ROM.
Man, I was looking forward to the technical details of the development process. That went by in a single sentence with the next 20 minutes just repeating how much everyone loved it. Pft!

SupremeJudge Indeed, but keep in mind when this show was originally produced in early 2002. The logistics of running a cable channel pretty much ensured that they always had to go for mass appeal.
At least there was some room for nuance, as when Billy Mitchell breaks down how Pac-Man’s A.I. works and can be exploited to give record seekers breathing room.
As opposed to the disgrace that was the Filter episode on Final Fantasy, in which audiences were apparently allowed to vote without having proper knowledge of the series, so very little before VII was even represented...

Same thing with felix the cat when felix the cat was first created he became popular after that mickey mouse was created and was inspired by him then later on bugs bunny was created without felix the cat mickey mouse and bugs bunny wouldn't have existed.

I loved ralley-x I had a arcade joy stick that hooked up to the tv and had many arcade games on it I would play it for hours until my joy stick got put into storage my mother got me a xbox 360 I've had an xbox about 3-4 years and I just wanted my joy stick back I didn't like the xbox games as much as arcade games like pacman

Man Il loved my Local Arcade, a Failing pizzeria put a Pool Table, kick-butt jukebox and 5 video Machines (PAC Man, Astroids, Defender and Dragon’s)! It was great until his wife divorced him and he close!

It was a little before my time. I'm 29. But I'll tell you what I do remember. The Nintendo Cereal System. Do you remember that? I think there were two bags in each box. I remember one was Zelda and I think the other was probably Super Mario. There were marshmallows in it I think. It was good, I remember that. I also ate WWF Superstars Cereal and Batman Cereal. WWF Cereal was only okay and Batman was pretty good. I miss those days sometimes.

Oh man, I hated the 2600 version. You could never see the ghosts and then you just die then they appear.
Sorry but for me I like more the Atari 2600 version of Pac Man it is easier to escape from the ghosts. The ghosts open many times routes where you can escape. It is not easy but I have tried different Pac Man versions it was always much more difficult to escape because the ghosts let no way open.
