Nice review I have a older 4th arrow arm. Little heavy tho. New subscriber 👍

Thank you sir. I’ve been enjoying using it in the tree. A very simple setup and super packable and lightweight

I wonder how well it held up for you this past season. I have a slightly bigger 4th Arrow Arm, but the base is super heavy, has sharp points, just doesn't haul well in my pack. It'll stay level and is a great tool, just a bit much for moving spots. Using a Sony HXR-NX80 by the way.

It was great. I ran a Sony a7iii with shotgun mic and 28-200mm tamron lens on it. All of my film from the tree in my Wisconsin deer hunting video was done from the arm. The base is small and rock solid when leveled and locked in. It’s the only arm I’ve used but I am very happy with the results and overall functionality.

I'm sold, pending review of the specs on the shoulder/base weight difference. Thanks for opening my eyes some. The tree arm and fluid head combo has been driving me crazy. Finally got a Sirui VA5 I believe, hoping it holds up better than the highly regarded Manfrotto Befree that fell apart after some rain somehow ruined it. @@HuntSoloPublic

@@JoshAndersonHunting I need to upgrade fluid heads. Let me know if you land on a good one

Field tested my new Sirui VA-5 yesterday. It's what I've been looking for. Super smooth, and the handle is plenty long for camera remotes, and the most adjustable I've seen yet. I needed a handle that was a foot long and horizontal so as not to hit my tree-arm, but would also angle down when it's on my tripod, also Sirui. @@HuntSoloPublic
