This is your best video yet. This opponent moves more like a classical boxer. He circles around. Every technique that has worked for you, we have also found works. What made your aikido work with this opponent is timing. Great job as usual.

Thanks Richard I agree this was my best I always learn from my mistakes I was hit many time in the past that why I cover and wait until I find an opening then I go towards his center and engage using a technique I think Aikido is a great marshal art and has a lot of potential but the problem is they of practice is carried in dojo which there is no resistance and full collaboration from your partner
Please keep posting your videos it is so useful because you have both ends experience

@@aimanturani I noticed how you brought your hands up when you and your opponent closed the distance. I do the same unless I'm baiting my opponent. You are correct on what's missing from aikido training. I offer both traditional instruction and fictional training (sparring). Some prefer the traditional training and some like sparring. The great thing about sparring and resistance is that we have come to understand the context for which traditional aikido techniques work. Unfortunately, aikido has evolved to aikidoists doing aikido to other aikidoists without an understanding of how the attack would actually take place and how the throw would change with resistance.
