Agreed! That low end resonance is great for full sounding chords! 👌🏻 Thanks for watching!

Thank you for uploading this, Chris! I’m shocked at the actual tuning since it sounded so different to me. I think I’ll put my acoustic in D standard to toy around myself. Maybe it’ll work well for the song I’m currently writing as well!

Thanks for watching Kenny! That's the beauty of this tuning, it completely reinvents the tonality of the guitar foe me and that makes it really inspiring! Have fun with it man and best of luck with your new song! 👌🏻

Nice, I have used D Standard before but never dropped the 6th down a tone to 'C". I shall give that a try. It certainly reduces string tension and increases richness without any real disadvantage. Standard is only a capo away after all. I'll have to give 'First Light' a go now.

Thanks for watching Peter! I think you'll really enjoy it, the additional low end from that low C is really inspiring and creates some really nice sustain! 👌🏻 It's so great to hear that you'd like to try learning 'First Light', means a lot to me mate! 🙏🏻

Thanks for asking, I have so many guitar players who inspire me. Duke Levine, Ariel Posen, Tom Bukovac, Jeff Hughes. The list is pretty endless at this point!
