I'd actually love to see more $25k family houses! A starter household with multiple sims comes with an extra $2k for every sim you add, so it's nice to see simsie make a family starter with a proper family budget!
@@niamh269 of course she has, she has thousands of videos 😂 but she often builds $20k starters for multiple sims and really stretches the budget and it's nice to see her use that actual budget for a CAS family
If ur tight on money u could always go into manage households, transfer in a randomized sim and steal their $20,000 ;) then u can just remove the sim and do whatever w them
it would be great to see more 25-50k builds that feature like 5 packs or only expansion packs etc. it doesn’t always have to be budget or one pack limited
Love hearing Kayla say she's feeling confident 😭🥹 definitely don't hear that enough, hope to hear it more!! HYPE YOURSELF UP GIRLLL YOURE THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS 🥳🥳🥳
because these were built in britchester maybe the 2.5k home has lore to it?? when i was a kid i lived near a REALLY overgrown house that i had to walk by whenever i wanted to go to the park, and all i could ever see inside was a single window with a really yellow light and someone working in an office. i'm sure their irl house was so much nicer, but to me, a 6 yo, it was terrifying and the first home reminded me so much of it
Ngl you should do a shell money challenge where you make a shell of a house, and you have to furnish with X amount of money, so example there'll be a 4k one, 16k one, and 64k one (you need to use all of the money or most of it)
That first one with the roof-walls actually reminds me of the Earthship style of home. They tend to have super-thick slanted walls like that since they're usually built from earth-packed recycled tires. They also tend to have a very heavy focus on recycling and natural materials. I don't think you'd have encountered one in the wild, since they were originally built for deserts (and I think their hurricane resistance would rank somewhere between "funny joke!" and "absolutely not") but it might be an interesting style to play with.

breaks my heart every time you start to make a house colorful and then decide to go back to neutrals. the blue and tan exterior color scheme was gorgeous!! and it was different and refreshing! of course it looks great as it is, but i miss the colors
simsie- "how did it become so expensive?' also simsie... spends almost 2k on columns and 1200 on flower boxes. lol. Either way, both builds are very cue!
i love that tiny house! didnt know you could do that with the roofs :00 also suggestion: u should do a challenge where ur sim cannot make any money anywhere else besides over the phone w like the 'ur relative passed and left u money' types of things! wealthy weirdo counts too (even if they give u next to nothing), i think itd be a super interesting challenge 👀
I'd like to see you and Dan taking up some The Sims 4 challenges together on RUclips, e.g. one builds one room and the other does the next. It'd be interesting I reckon. 🤓
i love building starter homes more than any other budget tbh, there’s just something so fun about it, trying to make it different each time but with the same amount of money
I’d be interested to see simsie try making a functional starter home that is as cluttered as possible, so like using all of the cheap stuff from ecolifestyle, the tiniest plants. As many objects as possible budget home? As full as possible budget home? No computer because that money is for the ball of clay and hopscotch and frogs and books and the future cube and…. Thoughts?
hi simsie, i play on console and like to collect achievements, but i cant do that when i turn on cheats. what i’m getting at is, could you make a starter home that takes in account the lot price?
This challenge is my absolute FAVORITE! This one and the ‘building the same house in different time limits’ one! Idk why, but out of allllllll of the different challenges that you can do in the sims, this is just the best to me!
16:45 "space professor" sounds so silly but "I study space" is a legitimate statement 😅 and knowing academia, SPACE could be an abbreviation for a masters programme that stands for "subspace pathfinding and celestial exploration" or something 😂
You know what would be cool? To make a video showing what was like to build in The Sims 4 when the game launched, with all the limitations of the time! I'd love to see it!
Build idea: pick your least used item for each type of room, and then build a house where those items are the centerpieces of those rooms. Like probably there's a toilet you almost never use, and probably there is a kitchen counter you've practically never touched. I bet there are several outdoor plants you have almost never used, etc.
Whyy do I feel so shocked knowing Kayla is 25 and married now? Like a sibling is growing up and you are not ready to accept they are becoming an adult 😅 this is weird
I think it'd be fun to do a challenge where you can only use the last swatch, you can't look at it before you place the item and you can only swap items 3 times for the whole build so you have to make sure the swap is worth it lol
What if you do the opposite of this challenge? Where you do a larger budget for the first build and then you try to emulate the style of the bigger budget house for the least amount possible
Can you please do a build challenge next where you build the same house in 1 minute 10 minutes and 15 minutes and also the budget increases as much as the time does
Wanna say happy birthday! Ur the only gamer code I remember lol an put in with purchases...Love your videos an pleez don't change don't conform...we love you for you
For the 25,000 the small balconys cost 400 each x 3 =1200 like I feel like that could have been spent better hahah also no hate it's a really nice build I was just saying
You don't like Inzoi because they partnered with Curseforge and that's okay, but EA has partnered withCurseforge as well. But besides this, love your gameplay and especially your building.🥰
Congrats on turning 2,500 years old simsie!🥰
Or maybe she's 25,000 years old... Hehehehe
Why am I laughing so hard at this
I'd actually love to see more $25k family houses! A starter household with multiple sims comes with an extra $2k for every sim you add, so it's nice to see simsie make a family starter with a proper family budget!
she’s done that multiple times already

tbf we have to account for the price of the lot + a couple left for you to get started on the game
If ur tight on money u could always go into manage households, transfer in a randomized sim and steal their $20,000 ;) then u can just remove the sim and do whatever w them
@@Lilnaturefreak13 or just use motherlode or the other cheat that's alot of work😭
it would be great to see more 25-50k builds that feature like 5 packs or only expansion packs etc. it doesn’t always have to be budget or one pack limited
Imagine adding a 250,000 simoleon one!
All of that would probably go towards the outside. 😉😂
I would love to see a 250K version! Imagine the extravagance!
Yea I thought about that too!!
Love hearing Kayla say she's feeling confident 😭🥹 definitely don't hear that enough, hope to hear it more!! HYPE YOURSELF UP GIRLLL YOURE THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERS 🥳🥳🥳
Your comment is so cute ❤
This is adorable 🥰 Kayla doesn't give herself enough credit. She's absolutely iconic. 🤌🏼
I know, right? When she said it I instantly felt like "oh, I don't hear her say that very often"
Simsie: The wall roof
Nobody:
Not even Stanley humphrey:
Me: The Woof
🐶
The 25k house is so cute for a starter! I feel like the “office” would have seen so cozy with a window looking out to the yard.
because these were built in britchester maybe the 2.5k home has lore to it?? when i was a kid i lived near a REALLY overgrown house that i had to walk by whenever i wanted to go to the park, and all i could ever see inside was a single window with a really yellow light and someone working in an office. i'm sure their irl house was so much nicer, but to me, a 6 yo, it was terrifying and the first home reminded me so much of it

I like that idea. That's what I thought this would be
happy birthday Simsie! next year, you’ll have an extra thousand simoleons for walls for the challenge haha

Kayla should round it out and do a $250,000 budget build (with the goal of spending all of it)
Can you do a challenge where you have to follow all the rules of Feng Shui, i keep finding that its harder than i thought😅
@@emilymartin7864 omg yes!!!!
that would be awesome honestly

this collared shirt is very cute but it also matches the houses 😂
i mean, i think spider webs do make a space look lived in, we just never specified who’s living there… could be a spider..
i’m sick and this is exactly what i needed, love you simsie
I hope you get well soon
I want to see this again with 250K and 2.5mil and see how insane Kayla goes

My sim right now is halfway to 100,000 simoleons and the goal for the big house is about 150,000, so 2500 to 25000 is a huge difference lol
hi simsie, i play on console and like to collect achievements, but i cant do that when i turn on cheats. what i’m getting at is, could you make a starter home that takes in account the lot price?
Kayla's too good at making the Sims 4 fun honestly
This challenge is my absolute FAVORITE! This one and the ‘building the same house in different time limits’ one! Idk why, but out of allllllll of the different challenges that you can do in the sims, this is just the best to me!
For extreme builds use the toilet/shower block that’s from outdoor retreat, works as a shower and toilet combo and it’s free
No but why does the interior of the 2.5K house feel incredibly accurate to real life British houses
id love to see a vid where you start at 25k and go smaller after that, like a reverse?:3
Maybe next you could only build with Debug - would be interesting how cheap it will be
Not sure these are the “same house” but I enjoy the challenge 😉
I love how the blouse simsie is wearing brings out the colour of her eyes
16:45 "space professor" sounds so silly but "I study space" is a legitimate statement 😅 and knowing academia, SPACE could be an abbreviation for a masters programme that stands for "subspace pathfinding and celestial exploration" or something 😂
missed the opportunity to make a frame houses so you didn’t have to cover the roof-wall situation simsie! i’d love to see that in another video
as someone who has lived with a kitchen without a kitchen sink, it is definitely a luxury.
loved that you used basically all of the budget this time! ❤️
I'd love this style in a reversed order, where you make a fancy house and then a budget version of the same one! :X
I love it when you do videos like this. It makes me inspired to try these types of challenges on my own :3
I love these budget sims videos
You know what would be cool? To make a video showing what was like to build in The Sims 4 when the game launched, with all the limitations of the time! I'd love to see it!
That first house turned out beautiful!!! I’m sorry I ever doubted you
Kayla hating and covering the weird shapes that I love hurts my soul
Kayla literally has the ability to make even the “ugliest” builds work👌
When you have to make the walls roof going the A-frame route will always look the best just saying the 2500 roof/wall combo oof
Build idea: pick your least used item for each type of room, and then build a house where those items are the centerpieces of those rooms. 5:07 i lost it at the "headboard"
Next time you do this start with the most expensive one and then try to recreate it with less money, that way they’ll look more similar
What if you do the opposite of this challenge? Where you do a larger budget for the first build and then you try to emulate the style of the bigger budget house for the least amount possible
I think house #1 was so on budget that they couldn't even afford a trash can
OMG have a good time watching this everyone!! ♥
I love this video sm! It was so interesting to see the difference
Now we need the §250,000 version (for roommates)
Simsie accidentally creates a social commentary on how it is easier to build skills when living above the poverty line
Its not a good day without lilsimsie!!
I have an English certification exam tomorrow, do you think this counts as studying? Florida accent 😂
The wedding hair is so cute (from insta)
i love the haircut!!
Can you please do a build challenge next where you build the same house in 1 minute 10 minutes and 15 minutes and also the budget increases as much as the time does
The family home in that world probably isn't very popular so it's great for people who do want to do family gameplay there
Im early🎉 Who loves lilsimsie
Now do the same house with 250,000!
I challenge you to build a $275K beach condo … I built one inspired by one from Dubai 😅 took all night
I also like the tiny house...looks very charming....😍
This green shirt really brings out your eyes! 🫶
Love the haircut!
I love these challenges!
Simsie putting a sprout in the table 😭
The first house reminds me of an NYC apartment.

I wanna see kayla build a whole house just with debug

The cheaper one turned out very nice, after all :)
2500 is Stanley’s nifty knitting house…
$7.5k vs $75k next please 😊
You should add 250k!
i’m convinced she could build a house with $25 and it would be livable 😂
Look! The dirt is like a headboard! 😂😂😂
So excited for this !!
Ngl I kinda like the first house more 😅
Uhm hello eye color with this shirt 😍😍😍😍😍😍
For the 25,000 the small balconys cost 400 each x 3 =1200 like I feel like that could have been spent better hahah also no hate it's a really nice build I was just saying

okay but the $2500 was not bad at all??
