I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

Intro Music by Fly24: • Distance Too Far.
i showed this video to my dad (retired avionics technician for bombardier) and he's amazed Ahah going to buy the plane today
It is impressive! More videos to come soon.
I wet myself when you said "I'm sure Gatwick woulden't appreciate us shutting down here" it was timed perfectly. Lovely video too, Thanks.
I am so pleased that you showed how to properly set up the Thrustmaster throttle! I had trouble taking off the first time as I didn't manage to give full speed. Well done
Glad to hear it helped! I have made a separate video to highlight this to others struggling with the TCA setup as I was! Thanks for watching.
I love watching your videos back in the days I used to fly the 604/605 which was the business version of this jet. One of the first jets I flew. Keep up the good videos. The airbus videos are very simple and great to the point.
If you want it to start up in Cold and Dark, try setting the default start-up state by repeatedly clicking the Default button (bottom right of Aircraft screen) ;D You had it set to Ready for Taxi in this vid.
Great tip, thank you Ian! I had not realised this, makes a lot of sense, thanks for watching!
I love the CRJ's . . . love the paint scheme on this one, beautiful!
in NUE we always used the front hold for handluggage that the PAX didn't take with them inside
Would be awesome if you could make a little tutorial series once you've come to grips with the CRJ, loved your A320 tutorials.
Thanks for watching and the suggestion Thomas! If I can manage to learn enough about it I may give it a go!
i agree, i learn 320 from this channel, just purchase crj
this is the review Ive been waiting for. Its been fun watching the non pilot youtubers forgetting they need to adjust throttle to control speed, and wondering why its climbing or nose down.. look forward to further vids.
Thanks for watching! More videos to come.
Great video! So glad you bought this and will be showing us more tutorials in this aircraft. The videos you post are very helpful to get us up in the air and also back down! 👍
That was one damn smooth landing...
I am going to buy this aircraft, and I am really looking forward watching you flying this airplane in msfs 2020 in the future! You have a new subscriber! :)
Thanks, I'm looking forward to it too! First livestream later today, and thanks for subscribing!
This is by far the best payware sim for MSFS to date. The only thing it’s missing is full SimBrief integration, however you can import a flight plan using the SimBrief downloader and the Route input area in the FMC, so it’s pretty close. Great first flight 👍
You can import from simbrief
@@FlightsimSimon how?
@@CrashEd1664 check out filbert flies
@@FlightsimSimon I’m assuming that you mean it can be imported via the FMC as per my original post?
After purchasing the CRJ I thought I need to find another pilot. Now my favorite pilot flies the CRJ as well. Love it. Hope you will do some tutorials.
Thanks Alexander, I shall see what I can do!
So you did watch the Dude's tut. nice.
And BTW, those are CRTs, so the show you get when you put a magnet near a CRT should work right? I've done that more than once on my Grand-dad's old TV...
Thanks for the demo!!
You are welcome Jack!
Very nicely done! I love the extra effort you put into the cinematic scenes. And that private livery is the first one I flew with as well. :)
The new audio upgrade/settings sound great.
Very different than the Piper Cub I have all my hours in. Cool video, though. I need to acquire MSFS and go into this cool realm...
Great intro video! For those of us "Airbus Guys" we are going to have to put some time in to learn the systems. I'm looking forward to the actual tutorials to help transition to the CRJ. Thanks, mate!
Plenty of unique aspects to this aircraft so I look forward to exploring them too! Thanks for watching Capt!
Amazing video mate, learned quite a bit watching this thankyou ❤️
Great to hear, thanks for watching!
Nice touch on the cinematic shots.
Glad you liked them! I enjoy filming a few extra bits. Thanks for watching!
Great video - glad to see it's not just me that is struggling with the ILS approach. Its a complex aircraft and having been learning to fly it since release I think it's rapidly going to be my favourite craft. Hopefully, Aerosoft will sort the issues out soon. Look forward to seeing you in action in this one again. I see Paddy already has some beautiful liveries for it :)
I have this addon for this flight simulator.
I decided to do the in flight check ADG (Air Driven Generator) according to the Flight Crew Operating Manuel .
to see how accurate it was. Based on the steps that had to be done. IT is Very impressive on how close the test got right
for the ADG however it missed a lot of things as well (out of 35 steps. It got 28 steps down accurately. 1 step partially right but missed out the other half. And 6 steps that were completely ignored) I give the total score of 81.4 out of 100.
Would really appreciate some tutorials on the CRJ... there are not that many out there. Has the glide slope problem really been solved after the updates? If so, I must be doing something wrong.
Thanks for the suggestion June, I’ll see what I can do!
34:32 interesting to see that "no loaze" attitude :P
Hi @320, thanks again for another informative video!
hey, i love your vids, i really think you are the best out there. It would be great to see a cold starup for this aircraft or generaly a more detailed vid for how to fly it properly
nice video sir and YES im jealous what an aircraft the throttles should work without the hard work ha and you never bore us gatwick is king
Thanks Dg! Yes it would be nice if they worked immediately, it is the first aircraft where it has to be changed like this! But once it is done, fantastic!
Again a great video, love you’re calm voice and manners. One question, how did the airplane effect on computer load / fps? (Still don’t have the right setup / waiting on the rtx3080) brds Erik (real b2 ac eng)
looks cool. imagine if those CRTs flickered!
Will they really be CRTs in this day and age? More likely LCD I would have thought?
You’re just amazing. Great production as always. How do you operate your camera zoom so well? What sort of mouse or techniques do you use? Thanks.
Hey,
Great video again! I also have the TCA. How do you trim? I have the pitch trim set on the pov switch on the stick and I can never get it right.
thank you for doing this! I picked this up and trying to mess with it :)
Great summary....
Thank you!
You had the same issue as I did with the GS stuff - plane dived - I did not manage to fix it. Will try your method
Fab video as always. Out of interest, which aircraft did you fly with air stairs?
I hope someone does a classic plane soon. something like 737-200 will be cool
I agree!
nice video as always...where do you get that Skypad?
Thanks Eric! The iPad is included with the CRJ.
My fav sim Chanel
Also the targeted descent speed shows under the DIR INTC button on the FMC
Thank you! I spent a long time searching for some of these things!
Thanks for this
4:10 wouldnt the thrust also decreaso on high AOA due the turbulence created by the wings? And if there is Ice on the wings wouldnt it hit the engines? I think this was the case with the md 80.
A few interesting points here! I might discuss these in a future video and my stream later! Thanks for watching.
I purchased this yesterday. Was expecting something a bit more detailed than the base game, obviously, but damn it was quite full on. Managed a flight from Sydney to the Gold Coast, but it was pretty rough. On approach to the Gold Coast the AP just seemed to decided to give up at the end and not make the final turn in for landing and seemed content to head out to sea, and leaving Sydney was a bit.. er.. steep, let's go with that. I just wish the Checklist stuff was a bit more guided like the base game ones are. Also, is there documentation included somewhere, I thought there was but for the life of me I cannot find it in any folders.
Great video. Are you having many direct to problems it sometimes dose not like it.
And also passing some interactions it some times messes up and takes a 360
Hi, thanks for watching! I am not experiencing too many issues like that so far, it did take me a while to work out how to use the DIRECT feature! I will keep flying it and see how it goes.
I worked ramp for an airline that used the CRJ2/7. At push, you disconnect the scissor connector for steering. A few times they'd forget to reconnect it, or worse, forget to remove the gear pin before saluting off. I miss these craft! Thanks for the kind memories!
"we get rid of the tug".... Maybe it's me but I couldn't see any tug pushing that birdy
Some of the modded airports in MSFS do not show the tugs on pushback.
Really nice video.. It's a cracking aircraft.
ps did you really have a no lows as opposed to a low nose on approach 🛬 ..
Great video once again! Would love a stream from St.Maarten to the new Aerosoft Bonaire!
I've been on one CRJ-900, specifically the one that's my profile image. It was a smooth and quiet ride the entire way, even had a smooth landing in heavy fog. Would love to ride on one again and excited to fly it in the sim!
Is the other plane you flew a Dash-8?
Either that or "the Bombardier I flew", "the plane with airstairs I flew" and "the turboprop I flew" aren't the same plane
Such a mystery!
I've noticed how the textures on the outside look a little blurry and up-scaled
The Aerobus A3RJ-700
Nice landing!
Thanks! A big of beginners luck I think!
I found its most similar to the WT CJ4.. really happy with the buy, first flight had the old rat wheel smoking though 🤯
Uses a collins fms like the cj4, a predecessor of the proline 21.
I made sure I was well-practiced and comfortable with the CJ4 before buying this, and it really helped a lot to prepare me.
Lovely aircraft model but flying at 280KIAS under FL100 going to have a number to call from ATC when you land. Lol
is that city skylines musicc in the background?
Love the neo but the aircraft looks superb
Do the cabin crew announcements come with the plane or is that a mod?
Yes they are included and play automatically! There is an option to turn them off too using the EFB. Thanks for watching!
@@320SimPilot sweet thanks! Always enjoy the videos, loads of great detail!
I can't get the autopilot to engage. Any suggestions?
i have airbus add-on to throttle and flap seem not working too
Your voice is sounding crisp, did you get a new mic?
Sounds the same
He definitely upgraded his mic or gotta compressor setup
I have been playing with audio levels recently, it is a bit of a dark art though so I guess I got lucky for this one! Mic is the same as usual. Thanks for watching!
Some people just have crisp voices... It's a shame that I don't! 😅
Hey Captain is there anyway to clean up the Airport markings on the NAV CDU ?
Yes you can, you just have to unselect airports in the FMS menu
what is the ground air cart option?
so they have Er version also ?
can you do a random emergency that you have to solve during the Flight?
The FMS controls the FMC.
What do you think of the flight model? So for every commercial aircraft is very disappointing in that aspect.
@Captain real world flying, P3D, xp11. All of them combined.
Weather and Terrain radar are not yet implemented they have said due to SDK issues
Ah OK great, thanks for the information.
Was hoping you’d make a video on this
Is this the best payware aircraft for msfs2020?
At the moment yes
Anyone know why this is getting poor ratings on the sim Marketplace?
is it just me that feels the control on the CRJ is over sensitive?
Oh man how bad does that VC look. Uugghhh.
Can’t tell if you are being serious or sarcastic....😂
AP won't engage
I understand that these planes are hard to recreate, but for 50 dollars it’s really not worth it
@Simulation Gaming how much is it?
@Simulation Gaming that’s ridiculous
There's more to complex aircraft than some stand-alone sims, plus it's a relatively niche product, which doesn't change the amount of work it takes but will change the expected return.
It''s undoubtedly no small amount of money but it not a casual sim product, so if you spend enough hours flying it I think it's worth it. Moreover with the level of detail I seriously doubt they're overcharging compared with typical professional game/software development.
@@anononomous I understand that, but the majority of people will not buy unless they are super into it.
@@hermit6514 True, but then there is a lot of free/built-in stuff out there for people who this sort of thing really isn't aimed at. I'm just saying that for the people it is it isn't really overpriced in my opinion. It's a lot of money but I can see where it went.
