We recommend an exposure time between 1 s and 20 s for most applications. Lower exposure times can be used, even down to 1 ms is possible. At such low exposure times the reconstruction of the spectra will be the speed-limiting factor. This process takes about 300 ms, depending on your PC.
Thank you for your interest! The following components were used in this demonstration: • Raman Spectrometer Base Unit: RSB1/M • Raman Reflective Frontend for Solid Samples: RBSR1/M • Raman Cuvette Frontend for Liquid Samples: RSBC1/M • Laser: FPV785M • Combined Laser Mount and Driver: CLD1015 • Mating Sleeve: ADAFC1 • Armored Fiber Patch Cable: MR16L01 The RSB1/M Base Unit, RBSR1/M Reflective Frontend, and RSBC1/M Cuvette Frontend are presently in their final stages of development and will be released later this summer. If you are interested in a quotation for any of these kits or a loan unit, please reach out to techsupport@thorlabs.com, and we will be happy to provide one.
Is there a way to make this 1 second or less?
