Merry Christmas to the Doc. Enjoy this day full of happiness
Incredible review bro. Thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoy your weekend. Happy holidays. Much love and RESPECT
Looks nice TDUK.
Appreciate your review td nice projector, but I think most of us are cord cutters and more interested in saving money,$4000 on a projecter is ridiculous in my opinion.👍
Hi Doc., this is just to let you know that the debloat toolbox is not working on the new fire stick 4k max.
Nice review. It’s the best purchase I’ve made in 20 years. Very easy to dial in the best picture for your needs.
Good video and I tell you what I would buy this tomorrow. The only problem is movies are 50% visuals and 50% audio and occasionally the audio out does the visuals.
With that being said going UST, no placement for the centre channel!!
Not true, you can have the center channel behind and above the projector but below the screen. I have the Bomker Polaris 4k and that is exactly where I have mine. Works great. There are also acoustically transparent screens, or you can use the audio that comes from the projector. Personnaly I would love an option that does not include any speakers since I rely on my receiver and dedicated speakers but I always just turn the volume down to zero on the projector.
Your PJ is in serious need of calibrating. OOB is terrible for the AWOLs but very good once dialed in.
Good review. Watching on my TV there is a very red tint to the picture. Was it this bad in real life or is just the camera you are using?
Don't worry, I have the AWOL 3000 Pro, and it doesn't appear to have any red tint to the naked eye. It only appears red when using camera equipment to capture it. Especially for cell phones
@@shijersey8336 Good news. Now I'm stuck between this and the 3500. Will the extra brightness of the 3500 make a big difference in a dark room for the massive mark up in price? I already have an alr screen.
@@nickteale7600 If you are using it in a room with controllable brightness, then choose the 3000 model, as it has some advantages in terms of price and black levels, especially considering the price variance. But if you are using it in a bright living room, then go for the 3500. Personally, my home theater is in the basement with only one window, so I haven't considered the 3500.
Additionally, in well-lit conditions, with the assistance of an ALR screen, the 3000 model is entirely watchable.
@shijersey8336 I have blackout blinds during the day to cut out most of the light so I'll probably go with the 3000. Majority of my viewing will be at night Thanks for the advice.
Hey TD
Why the bend in the picture sides Mate?
not sure i follow ? the video was filmed on my Iphone. Nothing else was touched / modified
@@TechDoctorUK the screen sides looked bent in.
@@WindomRettes ah yes, that is the keystone correction - you can adjust it and get the edges looking exactly how you like it.
