15:50.."pretty good.."no,.. amazing. You sir should have been the spokesman for zoom, I am blown away by your skill and how you dial in this amazing gadget. I'm buying one. Good job, my friend.
2023 and I still use the MS-50G. The ToneLib app gave a new life to this little warrior. I use a cheap Marshall preamp pedal in front of it and only way more expensive gear beats it up.
It's amazing what sound you can achieve by only using one pedal, no matter what genre of music you're making/playing I feel like this pedal is good to have on your setup 👍🏼
In our experience this pedal keeps your tone intact, and sounding clear as day. There’s always a little loss of tone when using multiple pedals, but in my experience (as a pedal freak) it’s unnoticeable with the MS50G.
Ten years later and this pedal is even better. 22 amp models now and even more effects. The Two Rock and Matchless 30 are my favorites. More excellent delays and reverbs as well. This pedal is awesome, especially for the price.
I've got two of these. One I used in front of my amp and one with just the mod/dly/rev effects stored in it that I use in the FX loop. Fantastic pedal for the money.
You did a great job sir. I just bought a 50G from eBay and of course no instructions. Now I can take one pedal to work instead of parts of my pedal board. That, my wah wah a volume pedal a switch to a/b my amps. I never liked multi type pedals but this doesn't sound cheap or watered down. A fantastic demo!
What a great sound and demo you’ve done in this video. I’m seriously considering selling my Quad Cortex, as clearly, this pedal has it all. The chorus is also a damn sight better too. 👍
Will this be good for playing at church? I want something I can easily switch between different sounds, for instance if 1 song has a different feel than another. There is not a lot of time in between songs.
Got this pedal a couple weeks ago at GC and it is an extremely versatile and useful tool. I use it going through the fx loop of my boss gt 10. I just want to say, these two units go extremely well together in my honest opinion. I have an FS-6 which I use to turn on manual mode on the gt 10. Then I have the Send/Return set to turn on and off with bank #2, effectively turning the MS-50g on and off. So even though the zoom pedal itself won't allow you to turn on and off a whole preset. I can do it via the gt 10. Then I can create a bunch of lead presets or effects presets or whatever else I can do with the zoom, and add them to my boss gt 10 patches. Giving me an extra level of flexibility when I'm building my gt 10 patches. It's like adding a 3rd control pedal. And the ability of the zoom pedal to cycle through its presets alphabetically, means if I'm playing live, I can program the sounds I'm going to use before hand, use the boss to turn the zoom presets on and off via the send/return, and press the footswitch on the zoom to cycle through to the next presets that I'll be using for the next song on our setlist. Up to 26 presets in a row (A-Z) if I need. Another useful feature is the tuner/mute mode on the zoom pedal. If there is a part on a song where I'm not playing, I can engage the tuner/mute function on the zoom and tune up my guitar without anyone noticing. (The Send/Return mode must be set to normal though on the boss, NOT Direct Mix. Otherwise the direct sound will still get through and everyone will hear you tuning up) I play on a worship band at church and it has been a huge blessing and joy to use. I would definitely recommend this pedal to anyone. Especially if you are thinking of using it with a boss gt 10 or 100.
You can cycle through the patches with the foot switch. Go to the patch page and on the far right knob you can assign a letter to a patch like A, select another patch and turn the far right knob and it will assign it a B. Step on the foot switch and patch A shows up, step on it again and patch B comes up, then you can go back and forth all you want. You can also assign more letters to more patches if you want to do a tap dance.
@@ChrisSamuel1729 Sorry but I'm biased against Line 6 stuff. My Line 6 Guitar broke down and Line 6 delay pedal broke down. I won't use Line 6 stuff anymore.
I know you asked a year ago, but just in case, yes, you assign them to A, B, C, etc, and then you can cycle through them by stepping on the main foot switch.
I know it’s years later but good demo and I really like that the bridge pickup in your guitar is separate from the single coils mounter to the pick guitars. Pretty interesting look
the chorus and tape echoe tubscreamer awesome very nice i cant believe that this awesome sound is coming out from that little box it has so much stompboxes in it
You can directly connect this pedal to the mixer, but it's not the ideal situation. We would advise to put a DJ box in between or, even beter, a guitar amp.
